The novel is adorable and sweet but it is too light for me. And when I mean light, this really is like a light-light novel. There would be drama yes but maybe its with the use of words, it lacks flavor? Its sweet, has smut, with the hint of being a family, middleclass-rich couple but still, its VERY LIGHT! If I would recommend this novel? Maybe. I would though highly recommend this to readers who love reading light novels. Super duper worth it reading!! No major drama. No worthless argument. And the ML dotes on the FL!!

If you want a short fluffy story read this!! Kudos to Xixi, the translator, thank you for the wonderful translation !♥️

Tobe honest the beginning of the story was so boring, I almost give up to read

But bcs of people recommendation I force to read it

I am not really fan of ML perfect face description, or how author describe MC as delicate, or the atmosphere when they were flirting. It's kind of cliche for me

But I like the the story bcs it brought issues that is related to real life, like how some people agree to marry someone that has same page as them, and issues like ML brother who had... more>> fallen out of love with his wife and cheating with actress, issues of children psychology, even ML mental block and mind sabotage. It is the gem that keep me attracted to the story

As the characters inner monologue, I get a new perspective of how people process the thought and do what they did

Also the part I read carefully is when ML was mentally down after his movie failure, and MC help for him to recover. The process to reconcile is quite detail so I can learn how people finally can stand up after a failure

I can't say I like all the elements of the story, but some of them really catch my interest

I recommend people to read it <<less

As the name the whole story is peaceful and full of care. The characters are so relatable. The problems they face are also relatable to our daily life. This novel reminds me of my parents and how they loved each other. Overall the story is wonderful. The taste it leaves in our mouth is so sweet.

A short but sweet novel of an impulsive marriage of two people different worlds apart but managed to fall deeply for each other.

It's cute but I can't help but feel that something is lacking. :/ Would've giave five stars otherwise.

Enjoyable read. A little frustrated with ML in the early part but all in all the relationship is pretty sweet and fluffy between FL and ML

Very sweet story overall. I have to admit that the way they met and eventually got married is a plot truly worthy of fiction only but at the same time it IS fiction so I forgave that. There were minor conflicts and they really balanced out the storyline.

I also loved the dynamic between the leads and the way their characters complement each others'. The female lead's character was nurturing and calm and I think that's what the ML needed given his job and personality.

It was ok. After all this is a short story which focuses on the typical face slapping and pampering CEO trope.

They communicate! He had to learn it step by step so that’s realistic character improvement and she wouldn’t settle for less which speaks for a strong FL.

They are a cute couple who love and support each other dearly, they bicker sometimes and aren’t shy to display PDA.

There is no love triangle, there are people to make the couple jealous but it’s very clear that the FL ends up with ML.

Issues I had:

This novel focuses on the main couple and good side characters are only mentioned from time to time. The FL doesn’t even introduce her BFF to the ML until the later half and they talk like 2 sentences?

Side characters who portray jealousy, greed, scheming, etc make their appearance more often. Those incidents dragged on, were solved with the overbearing cheat family background of the ML (which was never explained in detail like in other face slapping novels, making this quiet shallow as it was just swapped over) and the end is always open.. there are no hard consequences mentioned.

So, it wasn’t the focus, wasn’t excessive.

Another critic point: the ending was rushed... like they talked about their wedding and how special it should be but in the end there were some friends never mentioned before and strangers they worked with but the second wedding (which I guess would be with close family and friends) was: they had their second wedding in Hawaii..

On the other hand, the translator did a great job, communicating with the readers at the end of the chapters which was very cute and entertaining. <<less

This was a heartwarming story. Both the FL and ML were dedicated to each other and their family. I also loved how the FL really strived to understand the ML and how the ML changed his habits to accomodate the FL because of how much he loves her. They had their imperfections but it was a wonderful journey nonetheless. The ending was also perfect for me. Last but not the least, the translator did such a superb job with this novel.

To be honest, it's pretty boring. An endless repetition of descriptions how great the ML is and how lovely the FL. I usually like slow burning slice of live kind of stories. But this one could very well be told in at most ten chapters instead of the 71 present. The rest is really just a repetitive filler. Not annoying enough to be impossible to finish but I needed several rounds of reading with a few days in between to not just drop it anyway. i really adore love stories like this one, but it was just so... one-dimensional. there was this great set up of "two people meet and know they have met their person." but it's so lackluster and there are no deep conflicts that show us who the characters truly are.

the fl? she's boring. I genuinely don't know why the ML fell for her. there isn't anything special about her. she's an elementary school teacher but that doesn't give her much depth. her hobbies are rarely actually talked about (just a quick... more>> "playing games with friends" thing) and it just seems like the author wants her to come across as more interesting than she actually is.

the ML is kind of cool. he doesn't really have that much of a personality besides doting on the FL but he is also a film director. so his aspirations and goals are more developed in the story.

this is the kind of story where I went in excited for a slow and realistic love story between two unlikely people, but left feeling bored. there's nothing special about the female lead. it's just... mediocre. <<less

Agree with fellow readers, it is a light novel, easy to read, no angst, no unnecessary drama.

The novel is tagged josei and mature, non-smut but a bit spicy.

At the beginning when they had a flash marriage, I actually disliked it (subjective opinion). Too fast?! But as I kept on reading, the plot is okay and interesting, and it's very focus on the relationship development between the couple.

Oh the translation is superb!

Recommended read.

It's just an OK novel. There was nothing spectacular or mind-blowing in the plot. It simply follows the life of a famous director and ordinary teacher who chose to have a flash marriage.

I'm giving the story a 4.5 star bec there's no villains who you can consider as scum or bit*h of the decade.

Regardless of other comments, I could say that this story refreshing in ordinary way. A breath of fresh air. I like the tranquility and harmony of the couple. Though they have different social standing, I like how the ML is well grounded. Not an epic type of love but its refreshingly beautiful than those over-the-top face slapping overloaded drama and life rending incidents.

I like that this is more in line with typical ordinary love story. What makes this a novel is that MC met a wonderful man. That’s just it.... more>> A laid back love story and an intricate hard work on for understanding each other. They develop their character sideways which makes their love story beautiful. <<less

I start reading this novel without any high expectation but it turns out, I can't help to love this novel. The story is quite simple. It starts from unusual first meeting and impulse marriage between MC and ML.

MC want to get married simply because she doesn't wanna be the only single woman left in her family and friend circle. ML want to get married because he's tired of his parent's nagging and he's also tired of many baseless rumours going around entertainment circle about him and several women.

What I love... more>> the most about this novel:

  1. How MC and ML try to love, understand, and accommodate each other throughout their marriage. We can relate their struggle in the real life.
  2. MC's dedication to be a good teacher.
  3. MC's character. She's a model of virtuous wife but without blindly follow or accommodate her husband all the time. She always tries to communicate her thoughts or wishes clearly and never hold a grudge. She's not timid although she has a different social status from ML. She embraces their differences bravely.
  4. ML's thoughtfulness. Although he marries MC without love in the first place, he doesn't wanna make their marriage fake. Instead he tries hard to learn to be a good husband and also little by little makes MC involve more in his career.

It´s good.

This is a sweet and short novel with an alright pace, good romantic messages and fluff.

The MC is pretty normal, which gives it a realistic view, but at the same time she´s funny, kind and admirable. (❁´◡`❁) The ML is charming and talented, his level of pampering and attentiveness not really there at the beginning (-д-；) but getting better and better throught the story (which makes it humane unlike other novels where the guy is perfect from the beginning).

Though the pace might look kinda slow, and the antagonic roles... more>> really braindead, I enjoyed it. ¯_ (ツ) _/¯

It was a pretty good story, but the female lead just irritated me a whole lot throughout this story. The way she acted sometimes was a bit much and kind of childish. I love the ML tho.
