This was surprisingly good; well-written, formed characters, and enough face slapping to carry you the whole way through. I loved our main character and truly don’t see her actions as deplorable as some other commenters have. She’s a very forward and yet sly character. She has goals but will still hold her morals along the way to reach them. Overall, great story.

there's no forgiveness and the scum isn't excused. I love the puppy impostor and how it didn't go the romo route for every mentioned male chara. I love that there was legitimate rsn for the fishies to act a fish and then switch ponds.

The most fun is the fact that the one with the most growth

which is top tier fr bcs most ppl were changed but he had the most growth as a person. Our MC is static and a no development character which suits the situation so much. Was totally shipping a yuri at the end there, and think it would've been so much better if my wish was granted tbo.

There is things that aren't that are somewhat irksome in the story, but easy enough to overlook.

This is story of how a transmigrated film empress used her acting skills to become a unique kind of high class call girl to rake in the big bucks! This is a unique masterpiece that is so satisfying. It's a definite must read for those who enjoy transmigration stories as it's different from the usual transmigration story: (major spoilers)

the transmigration was revealed (to quite a few characters) and played a major part in the manipulation and mind games, the original host survived and continued on with her life and the MC returned to her own world where a lil puppy earnestly followed after her

Very good plot flow and writing. The romance is like only at the last 5 chapters or so (but it's SO SWEET) so this is not for those looking for a full on romance novel. It's more of a 'career' type of novel but not at the same time because her 'career' is a bit unique. It's NOT an entertainment circle focus novel as the stand-in job is more of her career focus. It also focuses on the games and manipulation as the story progresses and when things starts to unravel. Manipulation and heartlessness is the MC's middle name so for those who don't like this kind of characters stay away. The endings for the 'villainous' side characters were a wee bit extreme for me but meh it's all still good. The overall ending was just 💯💯💯💯💯💯

Simply an excellent read so do not hesitate!!! <<less

Is too late to Apologise~ is too late~

Overall a pretty standard novel for the genre and a refreshing take on transmigration in modern setting. Like previous review said, one of the strong point of this novel is that it was able to follow the plot set from the beginning. I came in to this novel understanding that there will be no romance and I think future reader should do the same too to prevent disappointment. With how active our FL is as a stand in and the interaction with the tr*sh men, I soon found myself intrigue even without romance. Another good point is is how things tied up at the end as well for everyone that was involved in the story. I also love how our FL stick to her character throughout the novel.

Sure all guys might have been tr*sh, but I really have to give it to BZ. I know BZ is not too good of a guy, but much of it comes from the env he grows up in since birth. I couldn't help but link BZ as a big dog that follow FL around everytime I see their interaction. I was rooting for him that after his lesson he can move on to have a love life he desired but it seems like that didn't happen. Out of all the tr*sh guy, he was prob the most mild one and was redeemable to a certain extent...

I liked the novel. The author clearly had a concrete idea on where the story will lead to. She did not deviated from it out of whims or lack of ideas but rather made sure that the story will have direction from start to finish.

There was a reason why the protagonists transmigrated, there were justifications on her actions and she was able to accomplish what she set out to do. One of the better novels on transmigration. The MC is very clear about her goal and how she is going to achieve it. I can see how she was able to maintain so many relationships because she did understand what these people wanted from her. She enjoyed herself and made friends but didn't fall in love. I would have like to see her stay longer but it makes sense that she achieved her goal soon ... more>>

. There are some things that could have been done better - the reason behind the switch could have been left as fate, the logic shared made things more complicated. Some of the original suitors had bad end, not sure I wanted it to so far. She did not talk much to original soul's parents, I think they should have been more repentant.

The final love interest did surprise me since I thought it was going to be someone else. The author could have taken more time to refine the end. <<less

It’s about second chances and face slapping. I like the MC, she understands her roles very well, and she doesn’t let love to get her way. She just need to get what she need to do and go back. No green tea or white lotus. So it’s a very entertaining read as she help herself and kinda revenge for the original. There is a ML and ahhh he just so sweet. I won’t spoil it.
There are some plot holes, but just reading how MC plots and schemes her ways with all the others, it’s fun, so not much complaints. Totally recommend read. Thank you

Excellent! A favorite! I couldn't put it down every time I picked it up, I could only wait for chapters to pile up so I could binge 20 chapters and wait again. It was an agonizing joy.

The story starts out kind of like you might expect from a substitute themed story but diverges slowly from the expected path and for the last 20 chapters I had a super big gossipy feel like the author knows I am really invested in all her characters and wanna know how they ended up... more>> even if they aren't "on-screen" anymore so she keeps throwing gossip around the main character and I really liked that method of wrapping up loose ends that weren't important but like... I still cared about a bit.

The ending was so sweet my mouth hurts from smiling. I can't wait to reread this story already. <<less

The read was overwhelmingly entertaining to the point I can't be bothered about nitpicking.
A huge disclaimer to note here is that romance is not the focus point. If you came here looking for ANY kind of romance, wrong alley, mate.

Is there a ML?

Yes, but it'll be 17% about MC+ML while the rest is dedicated to cleaning up scums. Is ML one of the scums? No.

The characters are three-dimensional, complex, the storytelling fluent, non-repetitive, which is a huge plus.

Honestly, the better a story is, the less I want to say anything about it.

The only thing that bothered me would've been the Ji Family.

The most flawed characters have to be the parents of the twin sisters and their childhood together, I cannot picture how the brainwashing came to be with the eldest's brilliance, which garners a lot of bragging rights for especially vain people like the Ji couple. How the eldest never took notice of the youngest's emotional shadow is also beyond me. The eldest sister is timid, not s*upid. They lived their lives together under one roof after all.
Overall, regarding the parents, they're basic. Bad batch, basic. Abusive, controlling, entitled.

Let me just start by saying WOW! What a great great great novel!!! (Important things have to be said thrice!)

I was not expecting this novel to be as great as it was and the love have for the FL <3 she’s honestly my Queen <3

The ending, imo, was perfect :) This novel has managed to do what I feel a lot of transmigration novels feel lacking in, the author did a great job and I hope to forget this novel so I can experience everything again <3

I never write reviews, but this novel truly deserves the best reviews. I love the story and the way it flows! It’s so different from any other novels I have read in terms of plot development. The female main character is so refreshing to read and keeps this novel so interesting!!

Since I haven't finished the novel yet and don't plan to MTL the rest, I'll abstain from giving a rating for now, especially since some other reviewers do have some feelings about the ending. Up to this point though, I think this novel is pretty engaging! Our MC has a very strong mind and clear head, so I'd definitely recommend this to someone who's tired of wishy washy characters that don't know what they want. She has a goal, and she is willing to do whatever she needs to achieve... more>> it (though she's not an emotionless robot). Even as some of her sister's suitors begin to show interest in her, I love how she keeps her professional boundaries and ignores their attempts while pointing out their hypocrisy. It's a great, cathartic revenge story :) <<less

AAAAA literally my favourite novel ever. The MC is super cool like the way she knows her own worth, what a queen. She also toys with everyone’s emotions but like in the nicest meanest way possible???? Idk but it’s for her to return to her own world and I personally find it super funny especially against her b*tchy sister holy shit. Also the way she treats the people who didn’t treat her well. THE REGRET THEY FEEL AAAAA.
