ADND was an adorable read. Neither the MC nor the ML had much character development because they started out and remained perfect throughout the novel. MC's verbal slaps are cute and on point.

Even if you don't like xianxia genre, you should still read this. The story is interesting, well written and the romance isn't too much. There is no drama, no face-slapping, and no revenge. Just sweetness and wholesomeness...

A bittersweet novel, mostly sweet though (99.99% sweet). It's the journey of a normal human girl who enters the jianghu world and slowly cultivates her way to the top. The interaction with ML is just so innocent and sweet and it makes me smile. I can't help rooting for them and be anxious for them when they face troubles. The 'bitter' part is the story ends with a bit of an open ending. I believe that whether they became immortals or not, they still led a long happy loving life... more>> together. And also the last dragon was a bit sad but other than that there's no really 'bitter' parts. I just wouldn't read this story again because I know that I will be sad again once their journey is over. <<less

Story is sweet, translation is great. Love all the characters. You might don't like some characters but you can't really hate them, except that evil lord. Every character has their own annoying traits but still not hateful. Everyone has a brain in the story, they use good logic when doing things. I love how kong huo always use the storybook logic to do things. Definitely a must read, no face slapping, no betrayal, no hypocrite, just full of love, fun and dog food.

In most of the cultivation novels I've read, someone will undoubtedly say "if only the orthodox sects were united, then evil would not win so easily", but it seems the various sects in this novel heard that and really took it to heart. Sure, there are still other forms of inter-sect drama, but they are all smart enough to understand avoiding fights between sects and focus on getting rid of evil cultivators. Even going so far as publicizing new secret techniques they find in order for the entire cultivation community... more>> to become stronger and more prepared for fighting evil. Just this aspect of the story is enough for me to give it a high rating. I would that this cultivation world is a lot more optimistic than many of the other novels that I have read so far. Also, I really liked the sect that FL joined, they are carefree and relaxed, emphasizing harmony between disciples rather than competition, but they are far from being pushovers. One of my favorite lines was that "they had an iron fist, but it was hidden in a velvet glove"

The characters and interactions were also all really enjoyable, especially between the FL and ML. The story didn't rely on annoying misunderstandings to create drama between them, and it was interesting to see how the differences in both of their cultivation paths helped them both move forward and grow.

If you're looking for a cultivation novel with sweet romance and a more optimistic cultivation society, do not skip this novel. <<less

The title may not reflect how much fun this novel gives. It tells the adventure/journey of a genius cultivator with great luck and lovable personality and her friend in search for medicinal ingredients, and later fighting the evil cultivators.

I like that the author made the story about a world free from evil scheming among the sects, respect much for each other and loyal despite having their big ambitions to reach the top. This is a story that warms your heart.

Although the novel's author describes a different state of wuxia than what we normally encounter, he explains the reason so you can accept it logically.

I laughed a lot while reading it, and sometimes I also feel sad, but the relationship between the characters really makes me feel envious, I also want to have that warm hearted people surrounding me.

A little advice, don't refer to other wuxia novels when you read this, just enjoy what the author has to offer with an open mind.

So far, I love it. Relax story with good master and seniors.

The MC is cute and likeable

Perfect example of a great slice of life novel. You'd think a cultivation genre would clash with slice of life, but this setting is more of what I would think a real cultivation world would be like. For the most part, people aren't slaughtering one another for saying the wrong thing or giving a stink eye. Most people are actually friendly with one another. My Comedy relief, when I need a dose of happy boost.

At first I don't want to read at all since the description is quite a tr*sh lol but the story is fine... Hoping for anybody to edit that tr*shy description

This story was a fun ride, a cute and fluffy story about a girl who helps everyone along the way in her journey to ascension. If you want to read a unique, light hearted and refreshing story, I highly recommend you read this one

It was really well written and the translation was phenomenal! The story flows smoothly and the characters are really flushed out and everything meshes really well together. 10/10 would recommend!

Funny and fluffy book - one to re-read again for enjoyment!

I was the never the one to read about cultivation or martial arts story but this one got me hooked! Truly remarkable! The story was so well explained that I can just imagine it! Author has a very creative mind! I love this!

I don't usually like Xianxia genre, but this one made me so invested. This is so fun to read and problems don't drag so long unlike other novels with same genre.

Kong Huo (FL) is a chill person which really complemented Huan Zhong (ML). Their relationship's development is good with sweetness and full of fluff... ML and FL might be both Mary Sue and full of luck but it added the charm and laugh of the novel LMAO

Almost all supporting and side characters are likeable. The sects are also harmonious. This... more>> is one of the most unproblematic Xianxia novels out there. Almost "no" dog blood dramas.

Really enjoyable, I read the whole thing with anticipation! Not super dramatic. Drama isn't bad, it can be kinda draining tho. Didn't have that problem with this story! Wholesome fluff! The kinda story that'll clear your skin lol

It’s good! Not what I expected, tho it is hard to know what I was expecting since the summary is subpar. But I like the translators and they usually translated good works so I gave it a shot since I trusted their judgement. Def worth reading. MC is amazing and ML is also likeable in his own way.

Surprisingly good! There's no messy inner court fight, no tragedy whatsoever. Really recommend it!
