implausible missed opportunities for character growth, which are obviously due to the author forgetting to have the MC perform the activity.
implausible plot-armor developments for the sake of creating additional drama... though not too many of those, fortunately.
MC is obviously not JSDF material, but supposedly the character is supposed to have been JSDF material. Sadface. It's alright overall, but I'd frankly recommend staying away from this one. Supposedly the author stops torturing readers with inefficiency at around chapter 120 and onward, but I haven't gotten that far to confirm or deny. The translator has the patience and persistence of an isekai hero, so I am doubtful that I'll quite agree with the author's opinion once I get there. Oh. Also, the translator sucks at writing. There are critically missing commas, dashes, and periods. Often times, poor wording is used. In summary, it's often difficult to decode what the translator is trying to express.
*Massive infodumps.
I know that that the author is trying to do a very detailed world building, and yes the author was able to achieve it but the price is the readability of this novel. It became so bland that it is now unbearable to read it (special mention chapter 72). Majority of this info dumps can actually be summarized into 2-3 sentences.
*Poorly fleshed out side character
After reading 70 chapters for almost 24 hours, I can't even describe the the nature of side characters. For example, the protagonist's parents. According to the info dump, Al's parents love him like how he was loved before reincarnation. But I can't remember where that kind of trait was portrayed except the part of Al's departure. According to the info dump, Myul is grateful for giving her a nice life and the funny part was I am unable to recall a part where Myul is grateful or such.
*Bland story telling
TBH, I didn't feel any kind of hype or adrenaline rush despite the fact that this is an adventure novel. Good side:
Everything that was said by Darkzeta in his review of this novel. P.S. I am still reading it. And I'm gonna update this review if there is something notable to add/insert here
