Honestly, it's a good novel. I would give it a 4.5/5.

It is fun and has interesting characters and plot. The only downfall for me is there are too many chapters. Don't get me wrong, I can read 1000+ chapters stories too. But I just feel the number of chapters can be cut short. It was dragged on unnecessarily is what I felt. And although I thought this has a fight between the transmigrator and the MC, I didn't and it was kinda disappointing to a degree.

But the translations were good... more>> and engaging! I would recommend it to people who want a refreshing story which has comedy. <<less

Awesome novel to binge read! Not the typical transmigration and it's so funny how carefree the MC is. Also the translation is really great!!!

The plot developement is slow burn w/c is allows the character to grow. Specially how the relationship w/ the MC and ML grew.

The MC is really hillarious with all his antics and how much he likes to flaunt his wealth hahaha.

... more>> Scretely shipping body guard z and asst. He but that ship never sailed but nevertheless they are still cute together.

If you're looking for a light romance to read, this novel is highly recommended. :) <<less

Okay I'll be honest the plot is actually a bit forgettable and not that good.... but why did I give it 5 stars???

Simple because the comedy in this one is gold!!! I swear you will end up rolling around laughing. And because the plot is extremely simple you wouldn't need to think much about it and just enjoy each chapter as is.

This is good to read after reading too much intricate and complicated stories that can fry your brain.

I'm loving this story! I can't stop laughing! A must-read!

A light-hearted story showing off all the cliches with such humour. I love how the MC is so true to himself and just blase about stuff. The ML is soo cute as well. Together they make such a sweet couple. Dog Food everywhere! The side characters are such treats and the way the MC teases and educates them is so much fun!!

And Assitant He is just amaaaazing! He deserves all the raise he gets!

My only query is who was the MC... more>> originally? <<less

This is absolutely amazing in both the storyline and translation quality! There is a plot, but it is very slow due to the reason of a promise that Rong Qing, the MC, made. The majority of the story is focusing on the relationship between Rong Qing and Lin Ji, which is so sweet and also so hilarious. This story is more of a feel-good story that will keep you smiling and laughing, but also have parts that will make you melt.

Storyline: A person transmigrates to the body of a rich... more>> and powerful young CEO president, Rong Qing. He quickly realises that this CEO is a character of a book who is cuckolded and becomes a part of the white locus' (Xiao Ziqi) harem and backing. (See novel description above.) The 'new' Rong Qing believes that this is not right and to change his situation, he offers an actor who happens to be nearby and a rival of Xiao Ziqi to give a massive financial contribution to the production team of the show audition the three were currently at in return for making the actor the Male Lead of the show. The rival actor is Lin Ji, who is a former child actor that has been struggling in the entertainment scene for 10 years as he has always refused to use underhanded dealings or selling his body to get parts. In addition, Xiao Ziqi has been both stealing Lin Ji's resources, but always setting him up to act as a 'bad guy.' What starts as a financial backer relationship slowly turns in a true romantic relationship between Rong Qing and Xiao Ziqi.

They say that the best revenge is living well and this story shows that as Rong Qing gets revenge on Xiao Ziqi, not only by freeing himself and the other main big bosses from becoming Xiao Ziqi's unbeatable backing and harem but also by enjoying his wealth and spending ridiculous amounts of money and making everyone around him jealous.

The relationship between Rong Qing and Lin Ji is a slow build-up because the person who transmigrated into Rong Qing's body made a promise to the original Rong Qing that he wouldn't have s*x until marriage and there's a seal enforcing that promise. Unfortunately for Rong Qing, Lin Ji still has two years until he is old enough to get legally married in the country. (They are both legal and consenting adults throughout the story.) I actually like this as their relationship doesn't feel rushed into s*x and the emotional tones between them are given time to develop.

Unlike the majority of other CEO novels, Rong Qing actually prefers being a bottom in relationships. That is what originally attracted him to Lin Ji as he "couldn't let such an excellent top go." It's funny as everyone assumes that Rong Qing is the top as he is a young, handsome, powerful and filthy rich CEO and he's too proud to let others know that he's not. That's the sort of misunderstandings that happen in this story, not the typical over-the-top relationship misunderstandings that are so common in other novels.

I never thought I'd say this about a CEO character, but Rong Qing is so relatable. Like he does the sort of stuff that I would do if I suddenly was rich. For example, when he goes to buy a replacement phone for Lin Ji, he runs into a business friend that turns out to own the phone shop and offers him a free phone of his choice. Instead of choosing a single replacement phone as previously planned, Rong Qing then chooses the couple phone box as getting two free phones is better than getting one free phone. He's just so adorable, cute and funny!

Lin Ji does not let misunderstandings, such as online rumours that Rong Qing had a female lover at his home at night, linger in the background and just upfront asks Rong Qing. The sort of misunderstandings in this novel are that Lin Ji mistakes Rong Qing for being shy and naively innocent (which he is to a point) as he doesn't know about the seal. Slowly, Lin Ji begins to understand Rong Qing and his true personality and starts to pamper him in his own way.

The side characters are well done with each with their own personality (with both strengths and flaws). They each feel like a proper person instead of a 2D character. The side characters each have this charm that makes you like them, which isn't the typical good looks or rich traits that many novels use so often (though they do possess them). Song Xian acts like a proud Second Generation Rich but is such a cinnamon bun. Gao Jiaxuan is just so relatable. It's like he has to work so hard just to get what should be rightfully his and he's such an envious baby. For example, his thoughts of how he is 'not worthy' to measure up to Rong Qing's wealth and relationship becomes a running gag. Gongsun Zibai doesn't appear much, but he has a charm to him that I really liked. He seems so cold and is known to be a 'nagging uncle' that everyone fears but he is always so considerate of his family (especially the little ones) and honestly, he sacrificed so much to keep his family and company harmonious and in power. I must say that his first appearance in his novel was amazing. He literally kicked ass, specifically he kicked his nephew’s ass for not wanting to spend his birthday with the family. It was so funny! Mu Cheng is so hilarious but is also such a badass.

I do feel that the story would be better if Extra 1 and Extra 3 had been a part of the main story instead of left after the end. Extra 1 is about Rong Qing confronting Lin Ji's family, so should have been a part of the main story. While Extra 3 should really have been at the start or before the main story as it gives the background of why the transmigration happened originally. It also changes the context of certain parts and relationships of the story, making me wanna read the entire thing all over again with the new info in mind.

The translation quality is excellent and the chapter lengths of about 6 pages each are a good length! The storyline keeps your interest the entire time and makes you wanna binge the whole novel (which you can now that it's complete) ! <<less

The story was really funny but because there is less and less conflict towards end, it became abit monotone...

I actually gave up after reading it until chapter 149, get bored with the story.

Recommend to those who want to read light heart story, slice of life, a little romance and a lot of crack

Idk how to rate this, actually. At the early part of the novel, it's a complete crack-head story for me I laugh a lot I want to give it 5 stars. But when it reach to chapter 60 to 80 I felt numb I laugh like I sacasm. Though I like how there're many characters involve with the story but sometime I feel like they pop out of no where... more>> and disappear without notice and don't even talk about how author describe the live stream scences, I didn't even know how the camera and mic work at the scence, like at all.

Maybe it's a story suitable for daily-reading, not binge reading (~•"•~)

Rong Qing is cute. Kind of tsundere shou who like to flex his wealth to his peers lol he spent 50% of his time relaxing 30% to work 10% to flex and 10% to ML ((QwQ))

Lin Ji is cute, hard working young actor. Most of his time spending on set and worry about how to persuade RQ and 5% of his time meeting RQ ((QAQ))

Xiao Ziqi is a bit*h Idk why he wants to stay in entertainment circle when he doesn't have the ability to support his career. If he only focus on catching rich people then he might succeed his dark desire (€=3) and If only RQ doesn't interfere with his catch though (^_^""")

At this point (ch80) I only knew that Ziqi has a system that can raise favoritism to a person and he can use it once a day (?) but I don't know anything else.

I don't know if I want to read this story further. I just mtl of the last chapter and some of extras and I don't feel like I want to read it anymore, maybe I'll pick it up when I'm bored in the future @ (^_^@)

I tried so hard to like it and I kinda did! I know these novel are a little over top and all But wow this one was exasperating for me, stopped reading it for now!
I love MC and the way he is proud of his orientation

But that ML with his kind of tricks, can't he just chase him? Instead of all that! I don't like this character description of him, too self-absorbed and just like somebody mentioned that's narcissistic! Anyway but I did like the side characters and certain things in the novel beside that ugghhh I can pass .

Oh this is one of the really good comedic books with a good cast of characters! I especially love MC's group chat with the other side characters (and how he flaunts his wealth and teases them but really, they have a good friendship).

for my fav character little CEO Gao and wanted him to have a CP with like anyone really but Chinese was overloading my brain and I may have been reading a tad fast and so I don't think he ended up with anyone? So I ended on a bit disappointed note. I do like all the other couples though, especially Assistant He couple.

3/4 of the story is too pure hahaha... the love so slow until the remaining 1/4 of story...

MC and ML are both beginner in love but cute.

My fav supporting cast is Assistant He. He have a big secret!!!! hahaha
