In the past, he's the son of rich family, but I think his father died and his mother killed herself, therefore making him from the proud son of heaven, to a nobody that can't even finish middle school and had to be a construction worker (and then a stand in because of his good martial art). Because with his condition he don't have anything that he can absolutely control, he choose to control the only thing he can, which is his life. Therefore he shuts himself from other people, he has no preference nor hobby, his apartement has no distinctive furniture other than the must have one like chair and table, didn't fight back when wronged in his previous film, just to keep his life within his control. After that, the abandoned world came and I'm pretty sure he's having an internal rage when realize this phenomena is not just a one time thing. He has a bit of gap moe too, he's a fan of the character that ML is playing as (but not ML himself), so he tried to hide his poster (but still failed) so ML doesn't get jealous. Oh, plus he's a bit lazy too, that's why he don't want to be top (even though ML already offers himself) and don't go abroad to get married with ML legally. And I'm very curious how MC and ML dynamic will be if he's still a rich guy, like we know how his personality will be, which is similar to the character that ML is playing, but that's mean they will strive to control each other if they still end up dating hmmm

two people that were abandoned by the world help each other to find their reason to keep on living, finally can't escape their fate to be killed by the world itself

BTW, every scenes MC is saving ML from assassination attempt/getting killed is so sexy, especially the party one, like his arrival followed by white filament for each steps is horror but uhhh, *h**ny grips*

After that is the mania that were caused by their dissatisfaction with ordinary people because they out there living their lives peacefully while you having ptsd every night. Which is why I love back to the real world massacre part. And then some how you lose your power after all that you been through, well it's kinda understandable and realist than most fantasy, at the ending they all have to go to psychology counseling except for MC and ML cuz they don't really like their superpowers lol

Freaking hate all superpowers gone and the world goes back to normal trope. But the redeeming thing is, there no amnesia bullsh*it, and the damage it done is real and can't be fixed in a short time + there's a foreshadowing that it might come back

Again, no follow up, no sequel, but so many foreshadowing is just down right EVIL
