The actual content of this story is to show the importance of tombstones and cemetery. So even though the young wolf died, he was still remembered by the next generations of the old lady as they guarded the tombstones. And that's was what the young wolf actually wanted, he once said that if his mother died, he would burry her in the tombstone, so in the future he will still be able to remember that his mother existed once.

Everyone has to die some fateful day, however, if we need to die someday, at least let people remember us somehow.
