Ik you are no longer active but are you still reading danmei? I been just reading danmei novels but most of them are so non-con/ weird asf I can look past idk maybe some toxic traits  like every straight mainstream tv show romance but these are crazy  I don’t wanna give up but 8/10 story I pick up, I immediately dropped and my heart hurts even more with those occasionally good writers but just write the most deranged sh*t and the gong gets forgiven in like one second after doing the worst possible thing a man can do to his partner. I think I don’t hate dog blood but idk I am just leaving my first comment on novel-update to tell you, you are not alone and I appreciate your list about pointing out these problems 

Op, have you thought about not reading danmei? I see that you're no longer active here so it's probably a good thing you're no longer reading a genre that's obviously so triggering to you. Nearly all of your reviews are extremely scathing and cherry picking all the bad parts you find icky, magnifying problems that hardly exists, and straight up assuming the worst in the author and readers for creating/enjoying said content, to the point that even the most innocuous novel can have problematic content by your standards. I don't understand how someone so uppity like you even got into danmei in the first place.

I wanted to read some of the ones you presented on the list, and I was really scared that I could really read them, because I have a little trigger for dubcon, r*pe, and other terrible crimes and moralless things. Also I'm amazed that all these novels are very popular and are at the top of the rankings
