So I MTLed this story all in one go and I really really enjoyed it. Thank you TLer for introducing me to a cute story.

It's not a rebirth story about face-slapping, contrary to my first expectations; it's a story about living a better, happier life than the last, which is such a breath of fresh air to a lot of rebirth stories. MC is reborn in an ABO world as a newly differentiated omega.

The romance between the MC and ML develops after the ML marks the MC. And no, this is not some dog blooded story with angst and misunderstandings galore; it's more of a sweet gradual high school relationship development. Here, heats are treated more like fevers with a need for pheromones to relax. Unlike some other novels out there, the MC is not op, petty, scheming, or arrogant. The MC is a tsundere, but not stingy with his love and affection. Like he can reflect on whether he likes ML and actually say "I like you" unprompted, which a lot of stories out there treat it like a loss if the MC does such a thing... But not this one! MC is mature enough to be able to sympathize with people he doesn't like and also to not "retaliate" unjustly towards people who have done no wrong to him, though he may not like them. About ML:

He was also reborn from their previous world to this ABO as a newly differentiated alpha. It's somewhat funny to me because after differentiation, they get their respective alpha/omega manuals and I'm just imagining ML be like I'ma bite him because this manual told me that how AOs stay together. He was a man with a cold, indifferent exterior in the previous world who was unable to protect someone he loved; so that's why he is open with his affections and loyalty in his rebirth because he doesn't want any regrets. He's pretty much a loyal dog type, and such a gentleman type.

What I really like about the relationship between the MC and ML is that they use goddamn communication and reflection; they think about the other person in their relationship. There is no unresolved misunderstandings that fester between them. They don't purposefully get into anything ambiguous with other people nor test the other person's love with immature ploys. They are imperfect people and they may act in ways that show their flaws, but they grow. For example:

The ML sometimes gets jealous of others, though not in a possessive, overbearing way. Like in a crushing on and new relationship way. Yet, ML grows on good terms with them like the one alpha in the MC's friend group.

I like the incorporation of the MC's friend group, as something he greatly treasures in his new life to keep. And they're not overbearingly overprotective of the MC, which is so great because that type of relationship just often times serves as an annoying barrier to communication and relationship developments.

And about the illegitimate half brother:

I just like the guy a lot ok, for being a cameo character here and there. Like his cameos are funny to me for some reason.

I'm really happy to see a focus on him in the last chapters, especially on challenging the MC's preconceived notions and hatred towards him. It's like the ML says: he's (brother) not a good person because he helped/saved you (MC) one time; he's a good person because that's who he generally is. And I appreciated the development of the MC and his brother's relationship because it really shows the MC's growth. Because as it turns out, despite the MC hating this illegitimate brother, the brother has never disliked or made any evil moves against his half bro. Despite being treated poorer as an illegitimate child and not really belonging to or having an existence in the "family". In both worlds! Seriously, favoritism between legitimate-illegitimate children is so not cool... It's not his fault he illegitimate. That's why I get happy for him when he finally does get that place. And I liked the cameo development of his relationship with his girl; it's a cute cameo relationship.

I can't say much because I've only read 4 chapters but I'll say few things about MC and ML

ML marks MC because he was suddenly in heat? no consent. ML didn't even try to control his urge to mark MC, , MC hates ML bc they were enemies in the previous life.

No revenge at allllllllllllll... I cant continue reading this because of how annoying the ML and how the MC behave.. if you like something fluff from the begining u will like this story I think?.. I dont know wht will happen after this chpter I just cant continue to read this. It make me want to f*cking kill someone.

this are all about misunderstanding but it annoying went the MC perspective for his past life said that the ML are an evil person that buy him and use him.. of cause MC absolutely hate the ML to the core.. but why went he been marked forcefully he didnt kick or punch him or says mean thing to him.. if it were me I will of cause do something to the ML if I cant physically fight him I can just do it verbally.. says mean thing to him. Just do something that will hurt him that can make my heart settle for the time being. and about ML he also had been reincarnated and he said that he wanted to fix thing and dont want to be like his past self and of cause he didnt revert to be like his past self but the thing he do at present are not so good as he seems to think.. hmmmm possessive and so f*cking annoying

MC was dumb but because he has no awareness as an O and he had been used to be discriminated against so he prolly thinks the marking is nothing. But when he told the truth to his mum that he was forced on, I can't believe his mum still let ML to stay under the same roof. How can such a story be even written. Reminds me of this real life recent case where an ugly 19 yo guy who had r*ped over 100 underage teen girls aged 13-16 by... more>> stalking them to their house (the rapist is still not caught btw). One of the victim's parents even invited that rapist to their house for chat even after their own daughter telling her parents that she doesn't even know that guy and not her bf but they assumed she's shy because they feel that the guy is nice. When the guy asked to take the daughter out for a drive they allowed and that poor girl got r*ped. What wonderful parents these days that don't bother to think about their own children's wellbeing and what great thinking the author has. What a crime. <<less

The story's all over the place. Description are not consistent (for eg he's recently differentiated but come next chapter and he's "been an Omega for a few years" ??) Also the mil really called MC a vixen like dude your son (adult in mental age) just really committed a crime and you're really gonna blame the victim? I don't really see a character arc for her irrational biased ass. The MC father is similarly hopeless

I can guess the author is going explain away all misunderstandings and bandage all their problems away. Maybe it gets better but I don't have much hope for it. And the translation isn't really making me change my mind. <<less

I find it cute at first but I find it annoying and very repetitive eventually. It's a push and pull between MC and ML. But the story got better around midway c27+ til the end

At first, I dislike how the ML is forceful, jealous and overbearing (although he dotes on MC). Eventually, I came to like his personality since he really loves and pampers MC a lot. And the MC is really indecisive. If he really hates the ML, he can reject him in several ways and even use "su*cide"... more>> so that the ML can leave him. I also find him having a brain damage 😅 he was fooled (in danger) 3x. TAKE NOTE, it is 3X!!! He really never learn. <<less

This novel is very irritating! The author did not have a sense of plot when they got to chapter 3

The MC is an adult who is transmitted as their previous self [16] which means they have the consciousness of an adult... so tell me why the MC is so dumb!

The MC knows what the ML is like as he descr, is it, , but he still goes with it! Honestly, it's very bad, the writing is good but the plot is a no! The characters make no sense.

[1] The MC doesn't care about learning about ABO and just goes with it which when your something else different then what you know, you should want to learn about it. An adult should have some type of thread to learn about it instead of acting like a kid and 'throwing' the book!!

[2] Another thing that has pissed me off is ML biting him [without consent!] the MC just allows it! Not having a sense of security for himself against a person who harmed him

[3] he doesn't even care, in his past life the ML sold him and he got touched by others, basically, the reason why he died, but he goes ahead and snuggles, and sleeps with the ML! It's like he's forgotten about the past, but he didn't he still recalls all of it!

[4] The mom gives no crap about her son, when the MC told the ML just bit him, she put them together! She does not care about her son safety! Yes she outs them in the same house together with the family but their still in the same house not even far from each other!

You see u could put more reason but I dropped the book and I also have more things to do (if these don't make sense sorry I'm in a rush) but if you like stories with no plot and character this is for you I do not recommend and uh beye!! <<less

Agree with Aria reviews.

Tbh, because the rate not reach 4, I think, 'maybe it too cliche and the plot not good'. Please read this novel, you won't regret it.

... more>> The pace not slow or fast, even with only 52 chapters it cover almost all the plot needed to be reveal all the misunderstanding they have at previous life.

Even ML seems to be too care to MC but I think its still rational, well, he missed MC before.

Both MC and ML rebirth so you know its not too round around too much.

Not gonna lie but this novel is def not my cup of tea.. At least, not for now. Maybe later when I feel like I need some mental abuse to go on with life (because all the dog food is making my tooth ache, when I feel like that the sweetness is too much)

Let's start,

I might be making a hasty review but heck!! The author is probably was not thinking much about the plot or character details when they were writing it. I mean It's good to make... more>> a "MC falling in love their own enemy" plot but this novel is on another level.
