My first ever transmigration novel. I liked the premise very much. There were times I questioned the whole moral integrity and whatnot and there were times I cried and wiped my snot all over the place. The ending somewhat had me duped because it wasn't what I deemed perfect, yet, still somehow justified everything. The pure love and yearning ML has for MC makes his life to take a 180-degree turn and then the insecurities that shroud his heart, it all was knives. But sometimes his love is questionable because of his creepy and master-kink behavior. And the best part was one of the extras, where the original character of our ML from the novel... more>> appears(parallel world). I wanted more of it. I guess one won't regret reading it.

(Okay so maybe it's in between good and average, because of repetitive love scenes or implicit smut scenes in every arc, which I got bored... more>> of after the 5th arc) Many uncommon worlds, many unexpected missions, many cruel and dishonest hearts, many graceful and heroic deaths, many hearts left broken. And when you feel like "isn't it starting to get boring?" Bhaahhhh! it turns around and hisses at your face. Though still, I did sometimes feel like our ML here too, like many other transmigration novels, had the same appearance, personality, and uselessness. Yeah!  I said it. There are many factors that make this novel similar to already existing transmigration novels. But still, the translation is praiseworthy and each arc is very different from the previous ones. so don't stop yourself from reading this. I read the novel in one go, mostly. <<less

If one asks me what is so different about this rebirth novel compared to others, then I would tell them that the MC is actually not ret*rded and knows how to make use of his brain and prior experience. Also although the ML seems to be like many other powerful, wealthy, and overbearing cliche ones, the way he handles situations and him covering up the plot holes, is different from the usual scene. There is a maturity that the characters at their age and position should behold unlike some possessive ass ML who 'throws away everything for MC' or a scaredy-cat, 'can't even defend himself and needs ML every next second to protect him' MC. And this novel gives you just that. I must also say that there were many expected turn of events, which are common in rebirth novels but the melodrama was still passable. Because it didn't drag out and had a very appealing and sometimes appalling fast pace, I was not bored and in fact, read it in one sit. <<less

A very light read. A little fluffy, cute, and tiny bit of cringe which is passable considering the upper limit of real cringe.

OH! The feeling of helplessness. The moments when my heart felt gripped around by sth sad and unbearable. In simple words, KNIVES!!! 

another light read. Very beautifully addresses some of the issues that pertains in the real world. MC is adorable and pure. His cluelessness is what... more>> leads to all the good endings. Unlike some other "clueless" MC's, the one here won't make your skin crawl with the unbearable amount of cringe factor. ML, though not as much as flushed out as other characters in the novel, still leaves a good impression on the readers. He could be considered to have a bare minimun shadow of Lan Zhan in him. A modern day, a little less introverted Lanzhan. <<less
