- Our MC, Lu Yan, is the lead vocalist of a band. He is such a cutie despite his really colorful outward appearance. He really likes playing the guitar, even if he can't play for shit, and it lead to rather warm and emotional moments.
- Our ML, Xiao Heng is a rich second generation who cut ties with his family. He went from fancy clothes and fancy cars, to living in a run down building with practically nothing. He's a bit mensao, but he isn't too cold or aloof.
- As a said before, these two people meet at their worse, and slowly help each other achieve their best. It's the little moments that really show this

They really do want the best for each other.
- I really do love the side characters. They have some of the most hilarious scenes, and so much personality and life. From the other tenants of this broken down building, to Lu Yan's band members, to Xiao Heng's rich second generation friends, I really enjoyed reading them.
This is not a dog blood novel, and so far the relationship between ML and MC is pretty smooth, minus the bumpy beginning. If a nice slice-of-life novel with emotional moments and comedic undertones is your thing, I think you will enjoy reading this.like when Xiao Heng has no computer to code with so Lu Yan let's him come over to code on his computer, or when Xiao Heng sees that Lu Yan's audio software isn't the best, so he makes it work better
