The FL character is bland and boring. She is only thinking about how to make money to get divorced and stuck with the thought of the emperor will end up with the og FL in the book. Even with a lot amount of bed scenes, she still failed to noticed the obvious huge amount of changes the emperor had towards her. While she should've realised it since the emperor never touched the og Medea unless it's the joining night where he had to bed her. Both of them never really communicate or trying to understand each other. Basically she doesn't care. The ML is beast in bed and once he realised he has feeling for her, what he did was putting her in the cage. The og Medea and the emperor, both had a traumatic childhood and that's what made them acted the way they acted before. The og Medea is deeply misunderstood, n so far no justice for her. And the transmigrated girl, since she was transmigrated there and have read the book, she should've known the traumatic event the emperor has. You can say I probably judged too soon as I just read not even half of the story, but this is the impression I got after reading till chapter 56.

Shes streaming and seeking for attention, protection and love. Especially love. However, I do not agree what she did to ML too. You wont do that to someone you love. Both ML and ori FL need treatment, love and hugs]
pretty good smut but the leads relationship is ehh. FL is annoying and ML pissed me off more. He is so selfish and an inconsiderate horny dog. He even put her on probation in his palace not letting her meet anyone, she can't write letters to her brother, he plan to use drug to keep her forever, etc.
not to mention the OG medeia drug and r*pe ML its really bothering me.. I know its different people inside but technically its still medeia and ML didn't know that yet he still into her. I really dislike story where someone ended up liking their rapist, its like underestimating r*pe. And now.. He is the one drugging her without her consent. Its also bothering me that she need to make excuse when she don't want to sleep with him when she can just say no and he should accept it because no means no.
If I'm not mistaken, the empress is died because of suicide. And then the MC isekai. So the MC was faking amnesia. FYI, before the real empress died, she tried to kill herself several times to get the emperor's attention.
I know the emperor has some kind of trauma and the empress is not that so-called kind empress. But that doesn't mean you can do that to your wife. Ignore her, don't appreciate her, you don't even show her a little bit of attention.
It's a typical story of a transmigrated person ending up as a villainess. The emperor (her husband) hates her. Their bickering and antics are funny. Somehow I feel yandre vibes from the ml.
The ML is a yandre is making and really possesive.
- Smut- A LOT OF IT! People with the intention of reading smut don't have to wait a lot. Its there from the very beginning.
- Plot- Smut has taken a considerable amount of space. So, space for plot is almost non-existent.

- Character development- As is the case with plot; Not a lot of space for it. And I believe the author of this novel has not given much importance to the character dev. I read the spoilers of this novel and it seems that in the later chapters, the writer has just forced upon the readers a truly-in-love Male lead and female lead. Cannot be sure about it though.
- Sidecharacters- The author be like "Eh! Do I need the side characters too now : ((" (lol. Joke) But still, except for some paragraphs on the og fl, her brother and the father's thoughts, nothing else. I hope to see some developments in here in the future chaps though.

The emperor is... I don't like him. I DO NOT LIKE HIM AT ALL. Its as if all that he has in mind is "I wanna do it with her. She likes it too. Therefore I wanna doit with her. She doesn't like it, so I should definitely do it with her." And the most ridiculous part of it all that I found is that this dickhead emperor fell in love with Medea real quick!?!? Why? Just because she changed into an entirely different person overnight. Bruh! Take some time bruh. You were annoyed by the original Medea just because she used to cling to you (I agree that was too much though. I sympathize with the ML here) Even then, you are the emperor. So, you should definitely have thought of why she behaves sooo possessively. You never tried to figure out about the og medea's past and how she lived and stuff. And you never spent any time JUST TALKING to her. And then, when Medea (the fl) tries to get away from you, you fall inlove?!?!?
The vibes that I get from the male lead are- An obsessive possessive dickhead always lusting after the FL and disguising it as love. Here, I author has done his level best to try to redeem the malelead by disguising all his thoughts as love.
And he is jealous. For what reason you might ask? Just because she wants to meet her very own little brother whose face she hasn't seen for like 11 or something years now!
Just because you are insecure doesn't mean you will trap Medea in Your own palace and cage her like a bird in captivity. THATS TOO MUCH.
And the male is close to raping her. Borderline r*pe. She consents to the use of an aphrodisiac but this dickhead emperor does NOT tell her the details of that aphrodiac. When she asks for an antidote, he says there is none. THATS CHEATING. AND I HATE THE MALE LEAD FOR THAT.
He is always seducing her into sleeping with him. Ugh! The male lead is a tr*sh.
The female lead... I like her pragmatic approach to the situations she is in. She is very horny though. 😝 This is the only similarity in the ML and FL so far.
The female lead sympathizes with the og Medea. Its a good thing. She knows the story of the novel well. And is trying to use the information of the novel to its fullest. Albeit, the emperor is in her way.
The thing that I like about her is that she doesn't want to go by the original story and is keen on protecting the og FL and her brother so that the story doesn't takeplace at all and so that she can continue being the empress. Thats my girl 😎
She knows fully well that she, the empress does not have any power. Hence a logical decision to win the emperor's favours. She is not the shy-type and accepts that she is attracted to the handsome (but dickhead) emperor. So far, only for his body though😂.
And the one thing that I really appreciate is- She isn't a fool to just fall in love with him after sleeping for one time. She admits he is good in bed and handsome. But thats all. She is still cautious about the emperor and how he percieves her actions. (Youneed not though, Medea. Cuzthe emperor only thinks about s**.) Hence, the FL thinks politically and practically approaches how she should get the emperor into accepting her requests.
I am also very happy that she doesn't behave like a white-lotus innocent who*e who keeps getting swayed by the ML like a s*x machine all the time. She refutes and revolts against him. And expresses her anger regarding the subject. Its refreshing to see the male lead being frustrated. She even slaps him. 😌
(But she cannot refute much because 1. The emperor is strong 2. Is above her in status. 3. She doesn't have any power in the palace cause even though her father is a duke, shehasnever sought their support and have they sought her. 4. As an empress, it falls under her duties as a wife to please her husband's wishes always. (the typical womanly dutiesof the medeival times))
