although I love how the MC handled it, I dont really like the way the whole thing was executed. Im glad the parents (and with respect, everyone else) was mature enough to not blame the seme but it was just unsatisfying. I needed to see more dialogue from the villain because all we got after is that they were sent to prison for only 6 years! I NEEDED MORE BACKGROUND. That whole plot point could've been expanded (which wouldve made this novel better)

It didn't help that I'm not much of a fan of the side couple. I liked MC's friend, but like the main couple was slowly dancing around each other with YY (MC's friend and gong of the side couple) was initially set up as comedy relief. But then out of nowhere some random adult omega hits on him (and turns out to be ML's cousin)

The side couple had explicit penetrative s*x even before the main couple because, one, both MC and ML are still technically minors, two, the author just wanted to Chuck it in there before the reader could even bask in the afterglow of MC giving ML a bl**job in ch.39.

MC was portrayed as not your typical stereotypical O. As per usual, because he's outspoken and fierce. But when he looks at ML, he wants to have his babies (this is very simplified). I mean, I understand it's a typical thing in ABO stories but a part of me is just that bit disappointed (it's so stereotyped?) ? Then there is, likely, a side CP of MC's A friend and this other O person. Their meet cute is where the friend accidentally damages the O's bike. And so he needs to give payment but the O demands a lot of money. The friend is, understandably, not happy because he's just a student. MC then says (I think he's joking but he's really not?) that since the friend is coming of age soon, he can just sleep (sell his body) with the O because that's what the O seems to be aiming for. Like what? I think the humour in the book is just not my cup of tea. I don't really like MC to be honest.
