MTL reader here. Without much spoiler I would say this is similiar to The Wild Last Boss has Appeared with some Overlord element. She along with her pet transfered to another world full of unknown, mystery and hidden force lurking and driving world-scale conspiracy. To find out what truly happen to her, she travel around and accidentally saving the world along the way. Due to her soul affectted by her body and another thing considered spoiler, she turned indifferent towards most creature, not in evil way, but more of higher... more>> being observing mortal. Albeit her disposition belong to good camp, so she still help if the problem can no longer be solved by mortals, or if she find the situation interesting, can help her experiment and help her learn more mystery hidden in this world.

Contain some spoiler related to TWLBA and this series
Spoiler

I said this is similiar to Wild Last Boss with Overlord element because even though her situation is similiar to Ainz at first glance, transported to brand new world along with her npc companion, her current identity isnt exactly from the game but has similiar power, inventory and companion from the game. Violet (MC) and her npc companion is being that truly exist with concrete background from another world but for unknown reason Violet dont have memory of herself prior being transfered and instead a memory of someone from Earth who controlled the character Violet in game. Later on she had chance to interact with her other self and that being stated You are Me and I am You, similiar to Rufas case. The conflict also involving Gods, Godhead, Kingdom of Gods, hidden force that tried to bring down Gods and bring disaster to the world, conceptual Law of the World, interconnected multiple world and dimension, etc

[collapse]

Overall enjoyable read. Solid world building, detail explained bit by bit as the story progress so I dont feel any excessive info dump, cast number isnt overwhelming and everyone introduced has significant impact in the story so theyre not easily forgettable, good interaction betweeen characters, they all have their own personality and trait so almost no boring template character, various mystery and unexpected twist keep me engaged with this story. <<less

To start off, before you get into this just realize that there is no threat in this novel, everything is easily steamrolled for around 70 chapters, I haven’t gotten farther than that at this time but I don’t think it is going to change soon, the yuri tag isn’t really there much since the romance is mostly limited to teasing or the pet dynamic with the mac and the dragon.

The novel isn’t really about confronting strong threats like lots of these novels it’s more about uncovering the mystery of how... more>> they got to the dimension they’re in, and them looking for remnants.

the characters are memorable, and their characters get somewhat explained, though their plot points are just shortened stereotypes of fantasy writing it sort of fits this nonchalant writing style.

the main criticism I have with this novel is that they fail to realize humanities willingness to just nuclear bomb a problem instead of investigating, making a protagonist with godlike powers with no challenges can work if the problems they’re solving are on their level, but since this entire novel is basically just moving a leaf out of the way of marching ants, there isn’t much tension or reason to continue reading. <<less

Among the current OP Chinese novels, this one manages to stand out as quite decent. It's not bad, one of the better ones out there. The main character's a bit different from the usual, staying indifferent to other 'creatures' but still holding her own. She's not afraid to fight back when needed and respects the deceased, which adds a layer to her character.

The unique personality and unconventional way she travels keep things interesting for readers. The world-building is alright, creating a decent backdrop for the story. The novel introduces a... more>> bunch of characters, each with their own stories, and they're surprisingly engaging. It's not a masterpiece, but it's a decent time killer. <<less

The best novel of this genre I've read in a while, maybe ever. It has its flaws, but the good is so, so good and refreshingly so compared to a lot of garbage with "OP" MCs.

MC suddenly appears in the game world that becomes reality, a classic premise. Or is it really? And is everything really as it seems? The "game world" appears to be too real and not exactly like what she remembers; she feels a little bit too calm about becoming her OP LVL 110 in-game priestess character,... more>> and the new line in her status window (Race: Divine) doesn't disturb her strangely serene state of mind. And most importantly... why the heck does it feel natural for him (now her) to be in this body??? Together with her pet dragon, she embarks on the journey to find out the true nature of herself and the unfamiliar and, strangely, a little bit familiar world around her...

The world is super interesting, and its lore is directly connected to the MC's appearance in it; it's not just background without a purpose.

The exploration is written with just enough details; they matter in the story and are brought up later. The commentary from the MC about the world, the meaning of her arrival, and her philosophical thoughts about some events are also done just right. The "bosses" that fight against the MC also have very neat backstories that are interesting to read. They can even be likable at times or turn into friends. The companions that follow her aren't just mindless background characters. All of them are beautifully written, with their struggles, distinct personalities, quirks, and backstories.

Now, the MC, Violet, is honestly such a breath of fresh air. She's not a boring "OP" protagonist who is self-righteous or needlessly cruel. You can actually feel that she is a real person. She can be harsh with those who threaten the world, but she respects those who work hard for their power and position (as long as they are not mu*derers or tyrants, of course).

Yes, she is powerful, but her struggles are very real. Sometimes she has doubts about what to do in particular situations and how to use her power best to avoid hurting others. She struggles to communicate with others due to significant differences in their power levels and something that changed her personality.

Her powerful status is also well-implemented here. There are consequences when she uses too much force or acts recklessly. She acknowledges that she is not all-knowing and that her occasional mistakes are significant, and she should know better. What is also very good is that she often defeats her enemies, makes friends, and gets what she wants without using brute force.

When she does fight, it's written in good taste, given that she's overpowered. Yes, she can end most threats with just one move, but she chooses not to. One time, she even struggles a little against a new, decent enemy (by her standards) because she doesn't know what to do—an excellent decision by the author that makes the novel more interesting.

Overall, she's very interesting and likable. She learns and grows from her mistakes, becoming a better friend, leader, and even goddess as the story progresses. If you can look past occasional long descriptions of unimportant events, annoying multiple POVs, and a slow build-up at times (though Violet's "god-mind" kinda justifies her overanalyzing everything), it's easily 5/5. <<less

I guess it was ok but I'm still bothered by how indifferent MC is on a lot people. This is a cliche trope of MC is OP tries to hide her power but fails miserably. I don't get MC moral values ... more>>
Spoiler

MC resurrects that 1 beastman because he's interesting & another the mousekin yet don't want to resurrect the shadow guards because life is precious because they only have 1 life

[collapse]

As of volume 1 I don't see the point of MC having the gender bender trait it seems unnecessary at this point in time. Also MC is quick to take the god complex attitude, treating everyone as ants & pets. Since it's still the early chapters fights are boring as there is no tension since even if any of the main characters die the MC can just revive them. <<less

This is your typical story about the MC falling into a game like world but this story is quite unique and fun. The MC is too OP from the get go and I like how the MC isn't a white knight and there are no annoying tropes like "I'm a modern person and will change this corrupt world" The MC interactions with her surroundings is endearing and it feels like you are playing a adventure game with a maxed character (just what the title says) but the MC doesn't act... more>> like a typical prestiess most of the story so far other than few instances. The story has lots of potential like she is exploring 1/18 countries in this boundless world, so much can happen. The MC journey is quite fun and if you like playing RPG adventure games like me, you will like it too. <<less

I came from the manhua and got hooked with this, but there are some discrepancies with the manhua and the novel (with manhua being more fanservice-y).

Tl;dr:

This novel is a breath of fresh air within this genre and I recommend it. Although if you hate over-exposition and want action packed then don't get your hopes up. Its a good way to pass your time.

... more>> Without further ado;

With the title, it does feel like you're reading "one of those stories" again, but surprisingly this one was a breath of fresh air.

Although the author sometimes delves into slightly too much details, personally every single character introduced has a breath of life in it. They all somewhat have a purpose behind their actions and were built nicely.

Our MC is an "Overpowered Priestess", however unlike other stories which has to inexplicably weaken them or threaten their close friends, the author uses a brilliant way to maintain tension. Throughout the arcs, true to her title, a priestess, she rarely immediately resorts to violence. We are repeatedly shown that yes she has unmatched combat prowess in this world, but just like everyone, no one is truly omnipotent and omniscient. It's akin to watching sherlock holmes, solving mysteries one by one, yet going on her own pace and not deliberately forcing things.

Although she has "resurrection" magic and it does seem like she can use it indefinitely, she rarely uses it unless on individuals that she is slightly interested in. Although this does remove the tension, she shows no sign of using it when she doesn't need to or isn't in a hurry. I liked this aspect personally as it shows that our MC is no God of Justice nor a hero, she is just a bystander and only acts with personal motives (being curiosity) and/or when a major disaster, one that "mortals" can't handle and will cause a large number of casualties (which reflects her identity as a priestess, or rather the stereotypical "God"). Though this isn't necessarily true.

Slightly going against, yet parallel to this, my particular favourite was around volume 4, without going into much detail;

PS: these doesn't really spoil anything to the specific plot so you won't really be spoiled

Spoiler

Although existing in the previous volumes, volume 4 shows a more prevalent concept.

The novel shows us that even without our MC violet interfering, the world itself has thought of contingencies and plans fighting against the "evil".

Unlike other novels where the MC is more of a "catalyst" of events, this novel gives our MC more of the role of "Observer" with the ability to intervene and speed up processes.

Without her having to take care of things, albeit with more casualties, the world itself will find a balance.

[collapse]

It is a breath of fresh air in this genre and I honestly recommend it. <<less

Story:

It's about an OP priestess and her travels in search of things that interest her.

The various plots and stories can be rather interesting too and I feel the story is one of the more interesting aspects of the Novel.

... more>> Writing:

The narrative is the weaker side. Lots of explanation and info dumps, way too much of it.

The writing is good, very few errors.

Characters:

They're decent enough, and some are well written. Can't say there's anyone who stands out.

The MC is an OP priestess with an OP pet dragon.

Should you read it?

Besides the author going into so much detail than necessary, I say this is a very enjoyable read. True the MC is OP, but the author doesn't always focus on her and gives other side characters time to shine which I appreciate. I'll give it 4 stars since I enjoyed it except for the over detailed things that are really not that important.

Idk if it's the translation, but the story feels like it has no depth despite the large amount of chapters. Like some characters straight up aren't mentioned/have no influence on the plot even though they are there.

The MC does everything, is op and characters of a specific region (sky city) just had very few appearances.

Overall it feels very unsatisfying.

The first several chapters gave me the impression that this would be a lighthearted braindead story that I could enjoy without much thought put into it. The characters had pretty tr*sh motives for their actions but it's a power fantasy Isekai so I expected that much.

.

They introduced a cute girl and just randomly killed her off. Doesn't help that the person that killed her was a character that the MC should NOT be siding with considering they tried mu*dering the MC for no actual reason previously.

Not EXACTLY what you'd expect... more>> from the first couple chapters. If this was going to be a horribly written edgy story they should've lead with that. <<less

I've seen a number of reviews on here dissatisfied with the amount of exposition and pacing of the novel. I think that's very fair. After all, it can get boring and dry if some chapters are mostly just explanation and very little plot. Plus, like someone said, it gets difficult to keep up with a story like this update to update since each chapter only has a small amount of plot information in comparison to another story.

This isn't really a problem for me though. I've come to expect this from... more>> CN novels- they easily reach thousands of chapters, a few rare ones even reaching the five-digit mark. But I will 100% agree with what another reviewer said - it's going to be a much better experience if you save up chapters to read in one go. The most ideal way to read a novel like this is by the volume. If you can't wait, read maybe 10-20 chapters in one go at the very least. That way the pacing won't feel as difficult to get through. While reading the raws, I do find it a touch too verbose and slow-paced, but I'm not really in a hurry to get through it, so it's fine. The one thing I will say is the author is unnecessarily consistent with their pacing. I think during tense or high-action parts, they could do away with the constant perspective switching and detailing all the different things that are happening, and cut straight to the action and bring across the small focal points in more bite-sized pieces. It would make the piece cut together better. But as I said, it doesn't bother me that much since I'm not that much in a hurry.

Personally, I have no complaints about the novel whatsoever. It's good. The problem is it's not particularly excellent at anything either. It's a pretty good read, and it's enjoyable, but it won't be one of the top novels you've ever read. I recently gave another novel the same rating as this but that novel was one of the best novels I've read. It's just that it also had flaws that I could not overlook to the point of not being able to give it a 5. This novel is not like that. This novel has no real flaws to me, but there are no real outstanding aspects either. It's just a good, comfortable read. If you're looking for a novel with nothing much to complain about, and with no intense stakes or anything, this is a very good novel to dig into. It's a soothing read, as opposed to novels that have intense emotional arcs or evoke strong emotions in the reader. <<less

This novel is actually good at first. But -3 stars because of the overexplanation. Author explains insignificant things too much. Its already on Volume 3 but there is still little to no action, She barely knows the power she posses. Only a few characters knows FMC is strong but even then only her pet knows how truly powerful the FMC is. Overtime it would become boring pretty fast.

This could be interesting IF you saved the chapters and binge read them at once. You might consider reading this when the translated... more>> chapters reach volume (5?), or MTL it. <<less

It's an enjoyable novel, not as much yuri or shoujo ai elements as I normally like but it's alright because I quite enjoyed the story itself, the plot is quite unpredictable which makes it interesting to read. You will know that the MC is extremely OP and will resolve everything but the process of getting there is the enjoyable part of this novel. I've only deducted 1 star as up till the current volume ahead there is still little romantic development. The MC has stated however that she is open... more>> to it but wants it to develop naturally, anyway it's more of an adventure isekai than anything else with some cute girls <<less

Disappointing I say. I expected much more of the depth of characters. Especially MC, the dragon and the princess but nope. They be like very conflicted, s*upid,... First of all, great OP protagonist, great world building, great writing.

As usual with CN novels, the world is far too large, towns ranging in the millions practically didn't exist around the time of the beginning of the industrial revolution, and while this story has magic and whatnot, it also has magical threats to counterbalance the magic while being pre-industrial.

Characters are well written, and while the protagonist is OP, she has her own thoughts instead of being a cookie cutter MC, whether it be the TS MC cookie or just the... more>> MC cookie. The struggles in this story are mostly moral dilemmas, and after it gets into it's stride the story reads sometimes like a detective novel, with the MC being very careful with her incredible powers, so as to not support the morally wrong side in various situations.

The primary downsides I see in this as is, is the scale, heavy male gaze and the fact it's not finished so I can't read it all the way.

Oh, and if you're here for actual Yuri/Shoujo Ai/Harem or whatever, those are at earliest from volume 7 or 8, since I haven't seen anything more tender than a peck on the cheek every now and again. I personally don't mind, since a true harem story is always offputting to me, and while I don't mind yuri/shoujo ai, I want it as an actual romance and what not as opposed to a harem buildup (which frankly hasn't happened so far) <<less

I was enjoying this series for a bit but the ranking system started to drive me nuts.

Some of them are Iron, sky, steel, Mithril, legendary, and so on tiers. Just keep it to one theme so you can figure out what the freak you are trying to convey. Like where the heck does sky tier fall in a bunch of metals... There are zero descriptions of the hierarchy of all the tiers at all so far in the 60+ chapters I have read. It feels like they just expect... more>> you to know what they mean. So every time they talk about these tiers it adds nothing other then pretty words and it just drove me nuts to the point of ignoring this series. These tiers keep coming up all the time and due to the lack of description it detracts from the story. <<less
