Please use proper spacing and paragraphs.Yuan Zhan, a video game streamer who claims to be 100% straight, can always play danmei games in many romance-based games. Suddenly, he transmigrated into a modern danmei novel, which is the original work of the game adaption he was playing “My Ten Ex-Fiancés and Me”.
In the novel, Yuan Zhanqi had a slag for a father and similarly, a mother with no integrity, participating in debauchery, who even wanted to hook up with her son’s husband. Yuan Zhanqi, with his peach blossom eyes, fine eyebrows, slender waist, and perky butt, was labeled as “someone who will definitely cheat on his husband” after he got married. His husband didn’t love him, his family was unreliable, and Yuan Zhanqi kept having to face various kinds of people trying to seduce his husband. Yuan Zhanqi was constantly labeled as a cheater. In the end, he was framed by others, misunderstood by his husband, and finally died from depression. The ending had “tragedy” written all over.
In order to fulfill the original owner’s wish, Yuan Zhan must make the husband, Yan Jingxi, who has been entangled with the protagonist, Bai Yueguang, fall in love with himself.

Overall, the characters were consistent throughout. Their personalities, interactions, actions, motives, etc. made sense.
There were a few plot twists, but those were pretty predictable, especially if you read danmei / QT. There was one that managed to surprise me,
specifically the whole BYG drug trafficking thing,
The romance is a bit weak. There's a good story behind what's going on between MC and ML but
most of the relationship development where they fall in love was in their past life, of which we only get a small glimpse. It makes sense so that the pacing is good for the story's other elements but it left me not really being invested in their relationship. I believe that they like each other, sure, but it's not really that compelling of a romance.
I'm fine with the MC preferring just Chinese food and disliking Western food (it's good to have preferences), it's just that the way it's done makes it feel like the author is using the MC to describe how disgusting they feel western food is? And maybe how they disdain western eating habits (feels like it's just referring to American food tbh).
Another thing that really made me uncomfortable was how in one chapter, the narration talked about how lawless western countries are compared to China, how you can commit all sorts of crimes in the west without any fear of retribution or the law whereas in China, you're definitely going to be caught. It's... a little odd to say the least.
There's exactly one (1) character from a western culture (not an issue) but the way their scenes go and the attached narration really makes it feel like they're there only to let the author write a bit about how China is better. I think he's also the only love rival for MC's affections and is consistently depicted as being a fool despite being a Top ML from the "book" and mafioso / head of mafia or smth. Like he's a bit inconsistent compared to the other characters and seems to be cast in a way where you're meant to dislike him? Especially since he seems to be a proxy representing western culture ? Honestly it's a shame. I would have liked for the western mafia dude to interact a bit more with the cast, especially since there's the Chinese mafia Du bros and the whole drug trafficking scandal and whatnot with another character.
