Yu Bai Zhou transmigrated into a book.

The talented protagonist was the top student in school. Due to his excellence in every subject, many people were dissatisfied with him, so they devised various schemes to mess with him, to the extent that they left a dark shadow on his high school years.

However, the villains did not know that the seemingly poor protagonist was actually the eldest son of the richest man in City A.

And in six years, the protagonist would replace his father’s position as the new richest man in City A with his own capabilities. Ten years later, he would become the youngest and richest man in the country! When that happens, the villains would be tortured to death by the protagonist!

… As bad luck would have it, Yu Bai Zhou transmigrated into the villain that bullied the protagonist the most.

In order to live for a few more years, Yu Bai Zhou, the villain, begins to formulate a character correction plan.

However, just as he is struggling to save his image in the eyes of the protagonist, out of the blue, the protagonist anxiously pushes him against the wall, and traps him within the circle of his arms. Oh boy! mmm... I really wanted to give a good rating for this one but I got disappointed with the story. Before anything, I want to give props to the translator. Amazing job translating it! I really appreciate the translator for also adding the side notes in regard to the Chinese slang, which helps me learn Chinese a little bit more too :). Also, in this story, they have one of the best ML. He is very sweet and wasn't too forceful. He was possessive but wasn't the annoying or... more>> scary type. He was very straightforward and respectable toward the MC so it was a plus. The MC's parents are also sweet. Their interaction was cute, but I wished they played more role in the story.

The story began quite fun. I really liked the MC at the beginning but there were times that I questioned the consistency of this character since he was supposed to be this shy and awkward kid since

he used to be bullied and a nerd in his previous life. Then, suddenly he became this badass kid who can intimidate and outsmart the bullies and can even outperform in sports.

I am not sure. Also, there were parts that could be omitted by the author. I noticed that the author likes to describe how handsome the ML is. 'I get it, he is hot and competent so the MC is lucky.' But, I wished the author would also focus on the development of the MC. I liked the beginning because the MC was shy but brave enough to save the ML. Nevertheless, somehow, the MC became dependant who is always waiting for the ML to come home like a puppy. Also, there were parts that liked to poke my patience, such as when they were playing the chicken game or just random scenes that made me wonder 'do we need to describe that for over half a page long?'

Other than that, it was a story that made me want to read till the end since I wondered what was the purpose of the transmigration, why the system was incompetent, and how would the ML react if he learns about the MC's past. Only to find that

we still don't have the answer for any of those. Only a slight peek at the fact that the MC knows that the ML knows that he is not the real Yu BaiZhou.

It's pretty mediocre. At first I liked it but it took so long for them to get together and their relationship is also weird. The indecision of the MC kills me. I basically stopped because it got boring. Sure, there were many flaws, like the fact that the ML wanted to be with a 17 year old despite being mentally in his 30s, but I ignored all of that. Ignored the inconsistencies. And it was boring. I was not gonna read 20+ chapters of them playing chicken.

Nothing wrong with it! The plot IS the romance and it's very sweet, if you're looking to enjoy something light-hearted and is full of sweetness, lots of pampering - this one's for you!

Something to note is that the scene changes are very rapid sometimes, so don't expect one scene to end conclusively - time and pace of this novel is relatively fast, so being a little flexible when reading will come in handy

The misunderstanding tag is there for a reason - it's a large part of the plot but it... more>> doesn't drag it out, the two characters are very sweet together, quite good at communication, they just think too much and too fast sometimes - which leaves room for misunderstanding but like I said, communication in this novel is quite good!!

I think this is a pretty relaxing novel in general, nice to pick up when you're on down-time and want something. Again, emphasis on the plot IS the romance so all the discourse and everything going on around them (even being maliciously targeted via social media, and even the kidnapping) - are just side-dishes to the CP just being lovey dovey with each other. <<less

I just need to mention this but nowhere in the novel is it mentioned that the MC is already in his twentys. At best he is a fresher in college who might have just given his college entrance exam. He hasn't stepped into society at all unlike the fully mature ml.

he has never been dependent on the ml. He just likes the feeling of being pampered plus I'm pretty sure he has skin hunger. Considering his background that's all too likely also the case for his slightly introverted and sticky personality. Plus he is shy but more like really easy to bush which he says since the beginning and nothing wrong with that.

Tbh, this is just a 2 stars for me. Extra 1 star for translator for doing good job.

The story started out pretty interesting. I was hook. But as the plot kept going, it was getting very boring. MC’s actions was pretty funny early on but later it just became very cringy, annoying and boring. Probably because white lotus and damsel in distress characters were never my favorite. He gave me second hand embarrassement every time (pretty sure it’s not a bad thing and it’s very funny I admit, but some... more>> part just give me the annoying and unconfortable feeling). He seems to gradually lost his braincell as the plot progress.

Other than that, I agree with most 2 and 3 stars reviewer. <<less

This was very sweet, almost gave me diabetes.

I very much love the Romance element in here. It was sweet.... actually very sweet. I love how ML was very sensible taking step by step progression..... kinda remind ne of shoujo manga feel and I like it. ... more>>

It very Rare to find ML in BL who wouldn't take action even if their lover take initiative... considering his lover age and their relationship period....... Now, here's a true gentleman.

Even though this novel is mainly focused on Romance between the lead and has no face slapping or anxiety but only a little bit of drama, there's a lots of second hand embarrassing moments and misunderstanding present between our main leads plus our MC naive behavior, you really can't help but laugh and get entertain.

Sadly, there's no face slapping moment. I was looking forward to it, since ML was known for person keeping grudge and take revenge.

I wished we had got MC parents story. They were such a good parents and another love birds. I really wanna know their journey.

Lastly, thanks to the translator for translating this novel. This was fun. <<less

Wow!! A good story.

If you like light novels then just give it a go.... More than half of the story is about their relationship which is quiet slow paced but after they got together everything escalated andany things happened in the last few chapters.... Basically author cleared everything pretty quick....S/He puts more time, effort and chapters developing MC & ML's relationship.... There's not much ups and downs...

What's I'm really disappointed with is MC's character... It starts as him being clever, Self-dependen, independent but after meeting ML he became shy and... more>> wholly depends on ML... Without this flaw I like the novel otherwise...

Also this is my first time reading a novel where Our MC has two fathers (MC's parents are homosexual) so it was a new experience reading the novel in this setting... Simply it was quite good and I really appreciate the Author as for me atleast this setting is really refreshing... also hope other people will also appreciate it...

For those who're saying its not real and all please people you need to understand what you're reading in itself is not real just fiction so what're you looking there to be real? Also if you're reading then just read why take it seriously? What you're thinking is unreal maybe real for some other people... And everything always can't be perfect right.... If you don't like it just drop it don't criticise... <<less

Super sweet story! ML is super respectful towards MC. However, I deducted 0.5 because it is so slow burn and slow paced. I don't mind slow burn if there are other interesting things and plot development to focus on, but that wasn't the case here. It took 50 eps or so before the romance was established.

Another 0.5 deduction as author turned MC into such shy maiden. I know it is China so I assume young people are still more conservative, but this is a webnovel. Not a heavily censored... more>> Korean tv drama where you only kiss after 1y of dating. It is too unrealistic and gave me the vibe that MC is rather an innocent girl instead of a mid twenties something dude that transmigrated.

Overall, enjoyable read. Recommend if you want to read about a sweet couple who respect and wait for eachother till the have s*x. <<less

I WAS LITERALLY BEING TORTURED BY HOW FCKIN SWEET THE ML AND MC IS TOGETHER.

LIKE ITS NOT JUST SWEET BUT STRAIGHT UP DIABETES!

ML is very sweet, very patient, very mindful and most of all CONSENT! CONSENT! He ain't one of those h**ny dudes only wanting to bang because they love the person. EVEN THEIR FIRST KISS IS SO SWEET AND PATIENT!

Ughh like the story isn't even the best out there, but it is definetly the best I've read for BL when it comes to fluff.

SWEET!!! 😭❤️ Ahh that was sweet. Also this novel is relationship focused. There are no intense family successor dramas etc. There are some here and there but our MC and ML find ways to deal with them haha.

ML is not someone crazy for revenge. He understood in this life things are a little different so if you don’t f*ck with him then he’s gonna leave you alone but if you do, you’ll regret living 😆

Also that ending omfg THAT sh*t WAS SO CUTE!! I freaking swear aaaahhhhh how could they... more>> be so adorable also the CONSENT AHH THIS ML IS A NATIONAL TREASURE. He is sooo gentle to his little darling and soo loving I keep telling myself haiyaa when will someone like this exist in today’s generation hahahaha. I love how he avoids him first then after awhile he’s like.... “You are someone that cannot be separated from me” 🤣 <<less

I really like this novel, it's the first one I've read that has fantastic relationships between the MC and all of his friends and family, not just the ML. You can really feel the affection between MC and the people he loves, and that makes the story that much stronger. MC and ML are SO CUTE. Their relationship progressed really naturally and healthily from friends to lovers. There isn't any of that cliché I'm-totally-straight nonsense that's always in BL novels like this one, and no ML that should seriously be... more>> locked up for how they treat the MC. There is a misunderstanding, but as soon as it's realised it is addressed head on. MC and ML are super cute together, and the way that they got together makes sense. My only complaint is that the pacing is a bit off, the story lags a little in the middle and the last ten chapters are a rush. But I still enjoyed reading this webnovel, and would definitely recommend. <<less

GOD I THOUGHT I LOST THIS ONE AAAA

Okay so this is one of the first novels I've read so it has a special place in my heart but I didn't add it to my library so I was losing my mind over trying to figure out/remember what was its name.

This one is full of cute (for me) misunderstandings. I like MC and ML. You can read it all in one day so what more do you need?

A sweet, fluffy and funny story, with minimal/no angst. It started with a misunderstanding where MC tried hard to treat ML well to prevent a "bad end" for himself and his family, but ML misunderstood thinking that MC liked him.

The 3/4 of the story where MC and ML got to know each other was sweet and funny, and made my heart warm and fuzzy. The later half after they got together was a tad bit abrupt with the random villain appearing. Although you could roughly tell that the author planned... more>> it from the start, I felt that the appearance of this villain was too sudden. However, for me, this didn't negatively impact my enjoyment of this story.

Overall, a very enjoyable light fluffy read. Good for in-between angsty novels.

For similar stories, I would recommend "Everyone thinks that I like him", which started on a similar misunderstanding but where the story and relationship were developed further than this one. <<less

A pretty mediocre story. Nothing really stands out, either positive or negative. Despite this, the story is still an enjoyable read as long as you don’t think too much. It’s a very light hearted story with some comedy. The characters are pretty bland, but not to the point of annoyance. I started to get a bit bored around the ending, but I would still recommend this novel as a quick read.

Plot-inconsistencies aside, I wholeheartedly love this novel! Maybe it’s my personal bias for being a sucker for its “wanting to be friends with the guy who could ruin my life in the future but the latter thinks I’m hitting on him”-kind of concept. It screams misunderstandings, major second hand embarrassment, & so much dog food. I might have to file a report because I was basically drowned from the amount of dog food this CP dished out. The audacity to make me feel terribly single!

The story overall was really sweet and cute/fluffy (especially the ending). Their love started out as a misunderstanding, but turned into couple goals as the story progresses. There are also no terribly heart breaking scenes, and it is very slice of life, so if you’re looking for something that won’t make you cry, I highly recommend this novel.

Wahhh!!! Thank you for translating this!! This was such a lovely read, excellent quality translation <3 He Yan is my favorite type of ML. His character's not always low EQ and ironclad, and he's very considerate (given his 11 years of future experience hahaa). Our MC YBZ too, a likeable funny guy. The plot isn't super heavy and the way it revolves around school and business without going in too deep is perfect light read material. The side characters were pretty nicely written as well. Highly recommend!!! So sweet and... more>> fluffy ahh <3

Full of fluff and sweetness. The MC transmigrates into a novel which he has NOT read before and has a system who provides him with the information of the novel. I feel like the system had no real role in the novel except helping the MC realize he's gay. The ML misunderstands the MCs intentions for being good to him and thinks he likes him instead. The misunderstandings are hilarious.

This is maybe the first BL novel I've read where the ML is mature and possessive yet waitd for mutual response... more>> from the MC before any intimate interaction. Also instead of how most ukes always say no while having s*x, this MC would actually go for the kiss which is just wow. That suprised me a bit cuz in practically every novel I've read, the ML just takes the MC "no's" as "yes" and just does it while here the ML realizes that it's the MCs first time and goes slow. So slow that it kinda frustrates the MC lol.

I'd give this a 3.5/5 since the plot is pretty predictable and I feel like some of the characters keep acting OOC. <<less
