- Misunderstanding part. Which is half the novel, ok? It was so obviously dragged that it was painful. Both act as braindead when the other person confesses 'I don't like her', but both treat as if they misinterprete it. Have we forgotten - a drunk mind speaks a sober heart? Like drunk people usually reveal stuff. And they lived with that misunderstanding for a long time, missing the obvious care and love. These types of braindead tropes are infuriating when they're dragged out.
- Time skips. Sometimes needed, sometimes really weird. I don't understand why writing time skips authors don't even think of filling it with more emotional information. For example, if both are separated, but thinking of each other, working helps temporarily, and when it's done the feelings come knock the door again. Instead we get moments like in the morning the suddenly work out, but next thing you know a week or so passes in work... wut.
- Secondary pairing. Was it really needed? Do we need contrasting overbearing president, while ML is a good type of person. But in general actually, maybe I'm so dry and feel that many things are nto for the written story, but for the word count.
Good points: family acceptance, family unconditional love. Those are good. In general the story is nice and warm, it's just not really entertaining. There are general events that you know how they will end, there are story tropes that you know how will turn out. Reading enough you realize that this is a story of calm water without twists. Basically soothing potion for those who like this... more>>
