First: MC's still in the real world. Literally the last line of the main text is him and his parents noticing each other. The first 2 extras are about MCs parents visiting MC and MLs home. And dad is grumpy about the relationship. No questions or no real emotional outbursts. Just subpar. Did they bury a body? They referenced putting their child in a forest, but who knows.

Second: MC's still in the real world. He still has powers. Can still cat it up, presumably teleport, has super strength, and make a cat double. The teleport powers were dropped in the last quarter plus of the novel. But too much for real life.

Third: What about his identity? I guess I missed why MCs parents are being led around by the brother of the guy he accidentally stole the identity from. Distant relatives? MC signed some contracts with the stolen name. An ML calls his original name multiple times in mixed company.

Fourth: So why did 'god' do this? It was a lie about this being a book world. God kinda skedaddled when MC asked some questions at the 3/4 mark and never came back. Was ML actually able enough for his post death wish to destroy the world?

ML resigns as the president of the company. Although he has another source of income (investment company), he's able to let go if the company, which wasn't his true dream, to focus more on himself and MC. To his family, who have been so obsessed with company shares and inheritances, it's hard to believe, but it's not anything ML ever really wanted. Between been unwanted by his mother, abused by his mother's father, and neglected by his father, ML's had nobody he could trust or really open up to until MC came along, and it shows to his butler and secretary. His grandfather on his mother's side died while ML was in the same room as him, and while others blamed ML for not helping his grandfather/for indirectly killing his grandfather, it was because ML was locked in a cabinet but his grandfather, and when he got out, he couldn't do anything. On the outside, it looks like he's the typical CEO and perfect but cold, especially to his half-brother, but ML has also had his own struggles. (Also shoutout to the secretary for being so loyal and pledging to follow ML wherever he goes, even after resigning from the company.)
