I think I understand why most of the people liked this novel, it's kind of cute, some fluff, but I think that's all there is to it. The story came with an angsty vibe where the male lead immediately laid the divorce and I thought that somehow the female lead will take it rationally but, she failed me.

The female lead is the typical, dumb, love-struck, and hopelessly in love with the man who could not even shed a bit of affection for the past two years in their marriage. Maybe... more>> it's my preference in a woman's trait but, I want someone who had dignity and know their worth despite not getting the love that you wanted from the man you loved. I know, I know that my perspective is naive but can't we just get a female character who is secured for herself and teach us that love is not the only thing in this world?

Secondly, the male lead is also your typical cold, expressionless, and "I will let you go because it is for your own good.". Dude, I just can't deal with the idiot couple. He is perceptive for finding a loophole in his wife's lies. He could have a better male lead if he is not too closed-off. Just like any other novel couple problems out there, they do not have communication.

Moreover, the development of the cute and fluffy moments were weird and unnatural for me. It's like I was counting from 0 then jumped to 100. I was hoping for the consistency of the "angst" from the very beginning of the chapter till to the recent yet, the author turned 180 degrees in making it cute all of a sudden and most of all, I did not get that click between the two main characters. It felt bland, almost boring, and the story is predictable.

This is more like a rant than a proper review but, this is just not my cup of tea. However, if you enjoy this kind of story it's totally fine and I respect that because we all have different preferences and opinions. <<less

So far it has had a lot of sugar content <3 I'm not sure if it will change later on, but right now it is a super fluffy romance.
