That they are his illegitimate kids and he is a promiscuous man who hangs with the woman. Their lineage should obey no matter what for once every royal that becomes emperor has holy power. So emperor orders him to marry MC. Of course, MC asks her daddy to do it.

Lydia: 1 of the 3 children in prophecy. Transcendent. So since she was born the CP got her like 10 teachers. He has no holy power so she is kind of a card for them that will support them. She is a poor kiddo who does whatever her parents and empress tell her to do without knowing if it's bad or good. She is like 5 yo. Her power is she can kind of control beasts and animals.

Damon and Arlene (twin sons) :2 other prophecy kids. Transcendents. Damon is super op physically and can not control so hurts everyone, only Arlene and Archduke touch him. Arlene can read minds but since h is small and does not much know bout words, his power shows him the color of how ppl feel or think. They were like a time bomb at the duchy, everyone was afraid so nobody talks, play or touch them. Only ML was interacting with them but since he is busy can only once a day. This is the reason why they went mad in the game when ML dies.

Luke: red-haired knight of ML. Once every 100 years there is this tree that gives fruit and is given to 1 person close to Archduke. Which can transform into a dragon. But the cause of some stuff is hard to explain he eats only half and can only turn into a small cute dragon.

She saves the nation from a bad emperor. Saves her husband's territory's economy, eases the transportation problem, nearly solves the monster problem, saves ML when he was about to give his life to save the capital, etc.

Basically, he forces a wizard to sign a s*ave like contract because he thinks MC would marry him in the future. There was not enough proof to support that, honestly.

Then, there is this genius guy who'd be beneficial to MC in the future, but because he sees in the future MC mentioning his name and love affair in the same sentence, and then he sees the guy kissing MC's hands as an etiquette, he gets jealous and acts cold toward the guy. Although he doesn't do anything over the top, from MC's point of view, he is extremely valuable, so his little action could have cost MC a lot. Well, thankfully it's not the real world.

And halfway through the book, ML starts proactively suggesting MC they should have s*x, sometimes vaguely sometimes outrightly. It happens multiple times. Can't you write a book without making the ML being obsessed with s*x somehow? One can, right. But it's as if that's the only way he can show his love to MC 🙄. I mean, if they had already slept together and already liked each other, talking about it wouldn't be anything weird. But, he married MC with the agreement that they will divorce after a few years. You don't just ask for s*x from a woman you married for interests, right? Especially if you are not set as a shameless character, but an extremely virtuous character who blushes at the mention of s*x. But then, snap! He falls in love and now he's all h**ny.

Also, the MC at the beginning keeps on teasing ML with this and that. She talks about their first night, and stuff like that to make ML blush. But then when the ML starts doing the same thing, she stammers, can't talk, blushes like a tomato. That's so inconsistent with their character. It's like the author is trying to fit them into a box.
