Xia Qingyang, a half-elf, accidentally found himself transported to the interstellar era, where he became a disgraceful burden to his family. He was banished to a desolate planet to fend for himself. Remaining unfazed by the situation, Xia Qingyang calmly tended to flowers, searched for minerals, crafted weapons, and practiced medicine.

To his delight, he was accompanied by an irresistibly adorable and lethally cute dragon with a big belly, making his days incredibly comfortable. As he basked in the sun, Xia Qingyang would stroke the dragon’s belly and marvel, “Your belly is so soft!”

The big-bellied dragon would retort, “If you touch it, you must take responsibility for this Prince!”

Unaware of the impending change, Xia Qingyang continued to play with the dragon, affectionately caressing its entire body until, one day… the big-bellied dragon suddenly transformed into a human, leaving Xia Qingyang dumbfounded. Stuttering, he said, “Th-this is all a misunderstanding…”

The big-bellied dragon replied, “Misunderstanding? Then let this Prince have another touch!”

PS: This story doesn’t rely on any cheats or overpowered abilities. Xia Xia is just Xia Xia.

Although the whole story felt like it's rushed, I enjoyed it. I love all the side characters especially Xu Kaiyang and Bai something.

I've read this for only a day, and this is the only problem I have:

There's so many plotlines that could be improved, like the revenge of the MC to the original host's family, the relationship between the MC and ML, and maybe the way MC meet ML's parents because I'm pretty sure ML's parents haven't meet the MC in the novel

Overall, every chapter is short but it's... more>> worth it to read. I'm craving for more chapters since there is no side story QnQ.

Okay so! I am quite unsure of how to think of this one, I was pretty invested at first, but it did slow down in the middle and I just skimmed the last 20 chapters. One could say this is a light read, so you could read it whenever you have the time~

MC is such a sweetie! He can be „fierce“ when he wants to, but to the people nice to him, he will cherish them a lot~

About ML, I don’t really get his personality, but that’s most of the... more>> time the case with Danmei MLs haha he seems to fierce and unapproachable to everyone except MC type :) also a little shy and tsundere at first but very pampering at last~

As for things that were missing for me, but acceptable, since the author added in the end, that this story was started in a hurry and ended in a hurry :) for that it was written „in a hurry“ it’s pretty long haha

  • so, maybe I missed something while skimming the last parts, but did MC ever find a way to see his parents again? I thought maybe after finding the secret realm, it was actually the connection between both worlds or something... I feel sorry for MC and his parents that they were separated by this transmigration : (
  • That OGs father, he planned something to obstruct ML and MC, but did he do anything in the end??? Idk haha, not that I wished for something to happen, just felt like it was trying to build up on something, but suddenly it was never mentioned again XD
  • the first freshman tournament arc was SO LONG!!! Like, it really took up 1/3 of the whole story! I think that was about 40 chapters or so, and without MC ever appearing! At some point I just got bored, bc it was just about MC subtlety showing off all the things he can do
  • regarding this tournament, what happened to the rhinoceros???? Like, he was accepted as a follower or something, but suddenly disappeared by the end of the tournament, like while it was still taking place??? It was just never mentioned again??

But yeah, as the author wrote, everything was in a hurry, but maybe they just skipped over it or smth and we should think too deeply about it haha

Cliché plot of transmigrating into interstellar world into body of "tr*sh" noble with evil relatives, going into military school etc. With rushed ending.

Setting is too convoluted: MC's mother is half-dwarf half-elf, who transmigrated into cultivation world, where she met his father. So MC is half cultivator, quater elf and quater dwarf. He has spiritual power, magic power, affinity to nature, affinity to ores, he knows alchemy from cultivation world, alchemy of magic world, crafting and forging, he can grow plants, he liked by animals, you named it. And after transmigrating,... more>> this world has mental power and some humans can transform into a beasts, great. Author setup too much powers, so in the end none of this powers was given proper attention, exept maybe alchemy/potion making. Didn't like how dense MC was with ML, gladly or sadly there was so much going on, so romance didn't have much time.

I liked the start of the novel, but after MC left his planet novel goes downhill.

Biggest problem with novel - loose ends and dropped plot lines. Heck, we didn't even get to see a revenge on family of his new body. Ending is super very VERY rushed. <<less

Back story is too big and heavy for 122 chapters, and it really is. At 106, author still tried to expand it and there are stilla lot of loose ends.

MC is a half elf dwarf due to his mother being a transmigrator and he grew up in cultivation world where he is a genius. And then He transmigrates into interstellar world.

This novel actually got alot of potential, even the same clihe plots. But it’s still a readable and (1st part) fluffy opening. Its a very very short story. So if just to pass time its a good read.
Why giving it a 3to 3 1/2 stars... ahem its really too rush, the romance suddenly describes in a few paragraphs and the the confession just a sentence??!! The heck... and the ending just abruptly end... or the author just give up. So only read if theres nothing to read. Thank you

It's alright.

Beginning was pretty fun, but then after they leave the planet, it's like the genre changed.

I'm all for focusing on MC gaining power on his own, but the author truly has a hard time writing multiple parallel plotlines. Once the MC entered the school, it was like the ML poofed into space. Readers have no clue where he is or what he's doing and after the first day of school, MC stopped talking to him or even remembering that his "wonderful dragon" exists. When they were on the mining planet, MC missed his dragon after like 1 day.

I'm completely baffled why the MC wasn't even remotely worried about his dragon and how a "newly transformed" human-shaped-dragon ML suddenly disappeared from his life for like months.

I'm all for MTL and chatGPT editing but maybe proofread or reread your translations a few more times?

Eg: MC talking to his team about getting a patent for his potions.

MC says "I won't apply" with embarrassment.


In the next line, MC's teammate says "I'll help you apply!" and MC says Thanks.

Backtranslating "I won't apply", it's clear the MC said in CN: wo bu hui shen qing.

In CN "bu hui" 不会 can be translated one of two ways: "I don't know how" or "I will not." Obviously the meaning of the sentence here is "I don't know how to apply" Otherwise the MC wouldn't have been embarrassed and wouldn't have taken his friend up on the offer.


Even if you know zero Chinese, from context clues alone, the original dialogue makes no sense and should be scrutinized. Yes, the author is a crappy writer, but not to the point of being completely unable to string together a coherent thought.

This story got a lot of potential but it fell flat on the climax. The build up of their relationship could have been expounded but it was only summarized in a few sentences. Even his abilities could have been explored more thoroughly. MC's conflict with his family wasn't properly wrapped up either. I wish the author could have written this story better.

This setting should be produced another hundred chapters or more if it's invested well. But it's pity, author decided to abandon this.

As other review say, this is really promising at the start, slow in middle and rush in the final.......

For the first few tens of chapter, they can be solid 4.5 out of 5, but for later that is 4 and for final that us at most 2.

Author ruin a good novel herself.

2-3 stars depending on mood.
As others wrote, the author set up too much backstory but hadn’t sketched out the full plot/didn’t have the motivation to finish it. While cute and simple by itself, the author doesn’t even go into the relationship. It literally timeskips MC and ML getting together, going along the lines of ‘that’s right, [MC] gave in’ or something like that (mtl) then turns ML into ‘no mc? Meet iceberg personality’ trope. While I typically wouldn’t care too much, the amount of things the author set up to abandon is just... it makes up a huge portion of the novel.
For example,

  • ml’s top secret assasination? Never addressed, although there were hints that the ori!dad and some prince jing had something to do with it and were planning another (literally not long before ending)
  • the entire original family, how the step mom poisoned (?) the ori!MC, they had some nefarious plot to get rid of MC and ML (see above)
  • the transmigration. Towards the end MC goes to a secret realm that reminds him of his home planet, he finds plants from his home planet, then.... nothing
  • Mtl had MC say his soul transmigrated, not the body, yet somehow his original elf and dwarf blood is frequently brought up as excuses for his OPness (‘returned to his previous physique’ ok but where’d the magic dwarf strength come from? Elf and nature could be chalked up to soul but not direct references to how his dwarf blood makes (present tense) him strong)
  • sets up whole potion vs pills with pills no longer creatable/can only be found in secret realm, then suddenly right at the end MC... made pills while we weren’t even looking?
  • the relationship... one chapter MC goes from not knowing why his heart is beating faster near ML then boom next chapter they’re already together and we find out cause ML shows off a dagger MC crafted for him to his pals and then the story goes ‘that’s right... ’ (see above lol) and then the novel ends when ML asks MC to marry him after they’ve been together for a tiny time
  • BIGGEST SADNESS: no dragon ML ever after they leave the star MC woke up on. MY GOLDEN DRAGON ML, THE MOTIVATION FOR THE NOVEL!!!

If you disregard all the many MANY loose ends, this was a quick and fun read. It was also a disappointing read with no conclusions that it's almost a waste of time. This is an in between novels read not to be taken seriously.

I like it... not love. The story idea is great! BUUTT author rushed the ending. A lot of questions were unanswered and it upset me. I am soooo unsatisfied with the ending that basically left me on a cliffhanger. This novel could be so much more if the author haven't given up on it.

I say the ending is a cliffhanger, because I have so many questions that are left unanswered from the abrupt ending. How will Qingyang get revenge on the previous owner's family? Why is the special realm so similar to Qingyang's home realm? Will he ever meet his parent again? Will Qingyang be a popular known pharmacist around the world? What happened to Grandpa Du? And the biggest question of all: how will Qingyang's future play out with Aze? I have no answer for any of these questions..

Biggest negative is that the novel barely showed any build up towards the romantic relationship of the main couple. It skipped over an emotional deep confession, first kiss, dates, romantic interactions that make you wanna giggle and all that jazz. Everything was time-skipped. The relationship seemed healthy tho, which is good. Also, the fantasy and op aspect is really good. I'll give props to that.

Now that I think about it more..I think I got scammed of a good read.

I really liked the MC. I was hoping I could read more on the development of our pharmacist op character 😭.

would I recommend this.. eehh maybe. 7/10 from me. I'm giving it 4 stars, because it's not terrible. It just needs more chapters to complete the storyline (that had SO MUCH good potential). <<less

Really cool! The ML hasn't appeared, and so far the protag is really independent, respectful to his granddad/servant, and very motivated!

Translation is also super high quality, with fast release! Good job EA translations!

A day or two of reading. I really liked the start and it's easy to read. Though as others have said, it feels like an abandoned novel which got a fast wraped up ending.

If you like the kind of story the description gives you, then you might as well read it. Not a masterpiece, but good enough

Objectively, it's kind of bad. The beginning is good but the ending is rushed, as the author said. Also, the background story is super lacking and there's a few discontinued potential interesting plotlines. At most, it's probably 3 ⭐

But I have biased opinion so I still give this 4 ⭐.

It’s an okay read. Like others have mentioned, there are a lot of plot holes and the ending is rushed. If you want a brainless read this is it!

Also I don’t know if it was the translator or the author who added in the PS about no cheats or overpowered skills... But within the first couple chapters it was disproved. The MC has overpowered skills. Why even put that???!

I enjoyed reading this story! But the ending was rushed and some characters appeared to never show up again. The male lead also showed up a lot less than I was expecting. After chapter 113 the story began to lose its appeal so I skimmed the rest.

However, don't get me wrong, the story was really lovely and I don't regret reading it at all! It was easy to get attached to the protagonist. The side characters felt like real people. It was very easy to immerse yourself in the story.... more>> The writing style was also very good. I recommend reading it if you're interested in an easy read that will easily drag you with the story. <<less
