TLDR: 5/5 one of the best first chapters great redemption story.

At first we witness the final moments of Fayzash Wildcast, in a world overrun by demons. Fayzash is dying and reflects on his past as a warlock (fighting for the demons) and his complicit relationship with Tyban, a demon. Despite Tyban's attempts to persuade Fayzash to become a lich and serve him, Fayzash ultimately chooses to die as a human. In a surprising twist, Fayzash switches his allegiance from the demons back to humans and causes Tyban's demise by freeing... more>> the trapped archangels with his dying breath.

Now begins the story of Fayzash a man on a path of redemption, albeit a little forced. <<less

Pretty good start, unique take where a warlock reincarnates and becomes an inquisitor. Plot and worldbuilding are fine. A bit early to say but it feels like a linear progression storyline that follows a Quest and McGuffin Get style of writing. Way too early to comment about the "Romance+Harem" tags. I think their significance will be the make or break for this story. Either way, I am sticking with it for now. 8.5/10 {provisionally}
