Mikiya Honjo is a third-year high school student. Akane, a protective deity (Dousojin), appears from a shrine he repaired during his childhood and grants him his own private dungeon as a wish. In this dungeon with broken parameters, he defeats monsters to level up, which improves his physical abilities and intelligence. His social circle expands through interactions with his best friend, Ryusuke, and various new encounters.
