Ye Sui has been transmigrated into a book and became the venomous villain. Overall I thought this was a fun read. The hidden identity misunderstanding lasts well close to chapter 100 fyi. There definitely are plot holes and discrepancies too - like MC was initially plain appearance with unique temperament making her surprisingly attractive and then suddenly she becomes the most gorgeous existence ever or how she initially could only make a few dishes (noodles, tomato eggs, tea chicken) and then suddenly she's the best cook ever?? So weird. There are parts not really expanded on either ... more>>

And the OG ML and FL are a bit useless in adding interest lmao. I wish we had gotten more backstory on how the marriage between the MC and ML happened. And why no one is puzzled that MC took over the original's body. I stayed for the romance. The conflicts and face slapping was mediocre. Sometimes the story felt a bit disjointed because a chapter wouldn't really continue the same plot point as the previous one. The first part of the story felt like a separate story from the second part. Not to say it was abrupt but it felt like two different arcs. First part had to do more with the relationship and hidden identity while the second part had more to do with their past lives. The ghost and mystical-ism continued from start to finish so that was nice. Like yes it was there to move the plot and spice things up but it was also a core part of the plot.

The translation was rough. There are missing chapters and sections and some things aren't in order. But overall the translation is better than mtl. <<less

Cute and chill. Interesting at first but lost my interest. Dropped.

FL is of course the typical STUNNING, gorgeous, most BEAUTIFUL goddess in existence. She’s somewhat detached, but kind and caring to her people while colds to others. ML is the cool, aloof but quiet domineering CEO, and handsome but of course. The supernatural elements were interesting at first, what with the ghosts and ensuing shenanigans. But after a point, you’d think the FL would have become used to being able to identify ghosts. Further along the story, she sees a... more>> ghost and will be like hmmmm, can’t tell if ghost or human when she’s probably seen a few hundred by then. She’ll go “hey did you see that person?”. Others “what person?” Her - “omg that was a ghost!!!!” Yeah no shit. Romance is a slow burn for sure. Neither good nor bad. The antagonists are kind of an afterthought I feel like. They don’t do much, and when they do, stuff just resolves itself and the issue is over and done with. Not the highest stakes and much stakes involved at all really. Overall it’s sweet and fluffy, with some ghostly bikinis but ultimately falls a little flat in the excitement department, for me at least. <<less

This story is really one of the better novels I've read online. The story plot was easy to follow and kept me wanting more.

Plenty of emotions were felt when I was reading through the novel, especially when they recounted their fate tied together. The storyline is not your typical transmigration, it's much more, deeper than that.

Honestly, it's not that bad when you consider the fact that this is a Chinese (highly probably web) novel.

Author tends to try stretching their story as much as they can so that's what you should expect when reading any CN including this one.

Not that I don't skip some parts myself, but I like the ML enough and I am in need of no-braincells needed stories for stress relief.

this story felt like it wanted to be so many things but the thing it wanted to be just didn't mesh well.

so you're just left with a messy story.

however, I still found myself enjoying it for what it is, a time waster.

the plot, while messy, is very easygoing. So you can actually relax and not worry getting ulcers stress. The netizens while annoying at times, I surprisingly enjoyed reading through them (for the most part). I am still confused the intense reaction to their marriage but I guess the fl's... more>> weird reaction just didn't help. Probably the fault of the author's poor writing skill.

i also don't quite like the supernatural element. Felt too gimmicky but I appreciate the fact that the author tried to do something different but still, if only it was better written. I would have loved it.

good concept, just poor execution I suppose.

the male lead is cute but a bit boring. The female lead, I can't really relate to her. I usually like calm protagonists but she's just kinda boring. So basically they're a boring couple but their interactions a cute enough to carry the story.

all in all, it was okay enough for me to finish it. A bad mtl can be salvaged by a really good story. Sadly this just wasn't a good story. But just read it if you want to turn off your brain for a while. <<less

I read the total chapters wrong so I wasn't prepared for the ending. Lol. I thought there would be more. #isoundgreedylikethis

Anyway real review here:

I thought it would be a bit like usual MC can see Ghost and ML is her Protector kind of plot with Showbiz and that's it. Would never expect they would encounter Ghost Wall, but I still thought it was only slightly different. But when they get in Ghost Bus... Welp... The author really playing it Big! Sure it's Brief, but still...

There's even a Supernatural Reality Show... more>> that take quite space in the story because MC happen to have a new 'Reputation' so she invited in it.

ML is Truly Sweetest Character in this whole novel!!! He doesn't act Cold nor Overbearing. He will ALWAYS Help MC when she ask for him (pick her up, etc of simple things). He's no Tsundere either. He's a Lowkey person. Okay, Both MC and ML are Lowkey as much as they can.

And he's pretty Adorable when he realise his feeling toward MC. ML would like to stay by MC's side as much as he can. He's Protective in Sweetest way!

Also, while it has Faceslappings, my favorite would always be when Ghosts actually make people realise their mistake without MC and ML doing anything!

It doesn't have Evil characters. Sure there's Villains in sense where they're Annoying and tried to bother MC or/and ML. But they're simply Canon Fodder Villains. And yeah, not Evil.

It has Deeper Plot too. About MC and ML.

Anyway I was Pleased with the whole things in this Novel. Lots of Unexpected moments. Sweet and Emotional. Mostly Lovely though.

For those who love dominating ceo type novel, this will be good. The drama is long but atleast I didn’t skip, so it alright. Some of the arc abit ended abruptly, but it didn’t effect the story much. The MC is cute and always op good looking. And ML also. So he also attracted alot female ghost. Lol. Out of all the the story can be described simple but there’s actually alot of going on also. I really enjoy reading first half of this story until ML's birthday plot, even tough there are some plot holes ^^

For me, the story kind of dragging after the first climax (ML's birthday plot).. I guess the second climax will be the story of their past life from the hints given? I'll try my best to read until the end!

There’s were enough plot twists to make it interesting but not too heavy and I overall enjoyed it amber the relationship between the leads.

Generic, but nice to read if you have nothing to read. It's sometimes its too cheesy, but it's fine. My main problem is there are many logical leaps in the story. In a sense that the way things happen does not flow nicely. The are plenty times I have to check if I skipped a chapter or two because events don't connect at all. Like they are talking about their career and now they are helping a ghost; or the event is abou the couple but now we are in... more>> the middle of shooting. Basically, no transition among different events. <<less

This novel is much better than "I Help the Richest Man Spend Money to Prevent Disasters" (same author). The characters are actually likable and there is a plot and the reincarnation theme is better written. The author seemed to completely forget about the Original Novel though (lol). And the ori! FL and ML disappear into obscurity.

The social media aspect was really ridiculous, sadly while it may be extreme, fandoms in Asia have been known to be obsessive and will tear down idols when they feel like it. Think of Britney... more>> Spears and it makes it believable, if not understandable. <<less

This is a light-hearted read. I mtl'd the last 30 chapters. It's okay, it just got a bit boring and predictable towards the end...

I really feel in love with the story it’s really slow burn romance between the two main characters who step-by-step discover each other and become close, they start to understand the other’s point of view and it’s really fun to see the daily interactions with all the characters in the misunderstandings or growth of day to day life

This story is very cute if you need something to spend your time.

I love that the leads do not fall in love quickly, the processess is very cute however I don't think everyone would enjoy this one. Some of the reviewers said very well, the MC's ability to see ghosts isn't well exploited by the author and there are some minor problems that can make for some the experience of reading this webnovel very boring.

When it comes to 'dragging' I blame this one in the translators. The webnovel itself is... more>> very short, at least I felt that when I read the raw and thought that the number of chapters were reasonable, however, the Chichipeph team propably for convenience sake decided to divide chapters in parts thus it feels that unecessary things are dragged, which affects the pacing of the story.

Aside for that there's problems with the main protagonists when it comes to their characters. Though they aren't bad per see, they aren't very well constructed and also do not stand out in relation with other stories with similar premisses. But it's not necessarily a bad reading. <<less

I am lost for words this story is so beautiful. I fell in love with the plot. I fell in love with the story. I fell in love with the romance and their cute interactions, and mostly I fell in love with the charcters. This novel made me feel a lot of things with a seemingly realistic and beautiful MC and cold but caring husband ML. This is such a precious read. I definitely 100% recommend this novel!

Ye Sui and Shen Shu, when you read both in this Novema gives you the desire that both are tonged together for all your life... I like the ups' drivers that they had and as they go away, I admit that I cry when I read as they both and they were willing to sacrifice each other, very beautiful.

I decided to drop it. I wasted half a day on the 50 chapters and I feel it wasn't worth it.

Huge thanks to the translator for translating! It's not their fault the story is the way it is.

3.5/5. A slow-burn romance, a story that took time to get into and remains slow-paced. It’s quite sweet and cute though, and the ghost elements are interesting. Some typical tropes are present but the ghost element and the dynamic between the MC and ML are atypical for this subgenre.
