The plot were promising but the execution were NG. Even though the plot were a little bit like any other TS novel, the basic idea were still interesting, however there is many part that the author couldn't bring the whole potential out and let it be just as ordinary as it is.

I don't hate it but I cant find myself like it either, I can't even read slowly

It’s an alright story with a great beginning but fails to deliver throughout the novel. The plot is a bit over complicated for that kind of story. The romance building is also a bit awkward. It’s not a bad read but also not great. After all, I read it till the end. The female lead start off independent and strong but does not maintain that kind of personality. The male lead is a bit underwhelming. I guess read it and make up your own opinion?

At first I like the plot and the story. Then.. haha.

I realise that the MC is... not my type. Everytime I read, I was so angry and almost smash my phone. I feel like something is missing. So, gotta drop it.

Very underwhelming and lackluster. The narrative was kinda lacking and the MC was too much of a Mary sue. So many plotholes even at the first 10 chapters

male lead was too domineering and forceful and there were a lot of other guys who was after the FL. Also, the FL was too physically weak, and a bit naive.

However, I continued on as I read in previous reviews that it gets better. And I really wasn't disappointed by the direction of the plot.

The FL resolved the misunderstandings about the ML after learning that he has been having nightmares about her, and decided to live in the present and give Chi Cheng a dad. Afterwards, the ML and FL quickly got together so fast that it somehow felt off. Though this speed in the pace of their relationship was explained by what happened in their past life. Since they carried on the feelings and in future chapters, the memories, they desired each other easily.

I also really liked the plot twist that there were two Shu b*tch Bais in the story. The first Shu Bai introduced is the timid and cowardly schoolmate of Chi Ying who was the reason why the ML and FL missed out on each other for 5 years in both the past and current lives. The second one was FL's half-sister who planned on stealing the ML since she looks like the FL, and she was the one who killed the FL in their first life.

There were a lot of complex details and relationships that were revealed around the last one-third of the story. Thankfully, the Lus and FL's mother and brother were very supportive of them. I also liked how they were able to conquer their PTSDs.

The FL may be physically weak, but she is kind, gentle, smart, and hardworking. She is not the type of Mary Sue that could do anything perfectly as even in the story it was stated that she was very talented (due to her experience in the 2nd life) but still gradually improved her acting. I encourage the readers to not be disappointed by the ML while reading the first 20-30 chapters as there were reasons for his forceful and domineering means, and he turns out to be a very loving and caring husband and father. I liked the endings for the villains but at the same time, I wished I could've known if the 2ndML, 3rdML and the FL's brother got their happy endings.

As for the issue of the FL not being acknowledged as a member of her family, it was caused by the blackmail of the FL's mom's twin that also schemed to bed the FL's dad. The bish wanted her illegitimate daughter to be acknowledged as a Chi so she kidnapped the young FL and told the Chis that she wanted equal rights for her daughter. The Chis also did not want the FL to ruin their reputation as FL's mom's family did some really bad stuff.
