Lin Su, who has wood-type abilities, traveled to the era of interstellar beastmen and became a female with a poor family.

The father is mentally ill and needs to buy expensive mental sedatives, and the mother falls ill in order to raise money. The burden of the family then falls on Lin Su’s shoulders.

Lin Su found that his wood-type abilities could make up for their incomplete animal patterns, and heal genetic defects fundamentally.

The news spread like wildfire, and the people of the whole interstellar exploded—

“Master, I only have half of the animal pattern, can it still be saved?”

“Master, my animal pattern is damaged in battle, can it be restored?”

Master Lin Su replied: “Okay, give me the money!”

Marshal William, who was attacked on his return from the front line, became mentally ill and turned into a half-human, half-animal (fox) state.

When William thought that he had been a soldier for half his life, and finally died like this on a barren planet, a pair of warm hands touched his head, and he seemed to see the light in an instant.

The female in front of him is weak, beautiful, and has a natural fragrance.

He wanted to take him as his own.

Lin Su didn’t think much about the partner he got.

While pushing him against the wall, Lin Su asked him loudly: “Do you want to come with me?”

He then asked with a light smile, “Why don’t you stay?”

The big tail suddenly appeared behind the man and tightly entangled his waist, eyes full of stars: “Okay!”

You have all the looks I like, nice~

So this story wasn't bad, but it lacked a couple of elements to make it super exciting

  1. I find it a little unbelievable that in the whole universe, the only villains were the zerg that were dead at the beginning of the story and some low-level thugs that weren't even worth mentioning.
  2. The confidence of the MC that he doesn't need to hide anything from the public. Probably due to point 1.

Cute story, slice of life, smooth sailing in every ways of improving everyone's life.

The good people are placed in high position, so normal moral logic kinda applied in this universe.

Bad people turned good real quick, I got bored and stopped at chapter 75, because I'm in the mood for some stimulation.

Good read if you want to read some happy-go-lucky journey of our MC. The MC himself is kinda the strong type.

Don't expect much social order logic here, just enjoy the fluffiness.

Spoiler

I mean.. The 'females' there have been overly pampered for uncertain amount of generations, that was normal. Then a newly emerged female suddenly introduced the concept of 'hardwork' and 'benefit', then in 1 week, ALL of them were reformed.. From the inside, not just for the sake of appearance only.. So magical..

This novel is worth the read if you want a light-hearted read or if you're interested in elemental abilities, ability upgrade, beast companions, or an MC who unexpectedly helps an empire in the interstellar era, you should read this. There's no angst in the story and the era is peaceful so there's no war, family conflict, or royals fighting for the throne. I love it!

The main storyline is okay, but there are some parts where it becomes tedious. In the end, I found the main story to be average, while the extras were quite dull, and I ended up speeding through half of them just to finish. Of course, that's just my opinion

I read this novel because of the 'farming' tag and also because of the power of plant elements from MC. The start was pretty good, I quite enjoyed it (even though it has a lot of plot holes). In the second half of the novel, there are many plot holes that are filled in but there are still many that exist. In addition, the second half of the novel is very boring, such as enemies MC against MC, Face-Slapping, they become MC's subordinates or disappear from the plot. Not to... more>> mention the MC who became the matchmaker for his three siblings.

The MC's brothers met the 'female' they realized they fell in love with, then pursued and got married. Well, I didn't enjoy this novel anymore so I skipped a few chapters and didn't even read the extra parts.

BTW there are two sexes namely Male and Female, both have physical bodies like Male but Female can conceive. But the relationship between the two is very similar to that of men and women so if you want to read "gay" or "homosexual", you won't get it, it's heteros*xual in the guise of homo. The "Female" only exists to replace women.

I don't recommend this novel, but if you are able to withstand the deficiencies above, then please <<less

Let me start by saying that I genuinely believe that novels like this require you to be in a specific mood. If you’re used to reading novels with more heavy plot themes or complex characters then DO NOT read this. I assure you, you’ll hate it.

That being said, I had read so many plot heavy novels back to back that I became extremely exhausted. I love reading in general, but so many of the novels I read (and enjoyed) were just so good at messing with my emotions and it... more>> became tiring. So I started looking for a more fluffy slice of life type novel and found this.

It checked all the boxes I craved and even though the rating was low, for my current mood and reading needs this perfectly soothed me. There was no real conflict and it reminded me of another novel I liked so I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, especially when later down the line when my mood shifts I wouldn’t be able to.

The characters were simple, the plot was basic and the translation was good enough. But it came together to create such a fun novel. Even if the side characters relationships came on to suddenly and didn’t necessarily match the personality they into started out with, it didn’t matter much.

I’ll give this a 4.0. I really hope if you read this, you’ll be sure to understand what sort of novel you’re getting yourself into. This novel isn’t going to be a favorite for everyone. But it can be a comfort to some. <<less

I've been looking at farming / slice-of-life / picked up a secret Prince / whatever type novels lately, but all of them are sadly disappointing.

Beginning of this one was fine, but as the novel continued, things started dragging and dragging... there are literally no challenges for the MC. Everything proceeds in a logical way, but that's literally because it's part of the author's step-by-step plan. No surprises in the text. No "speeding up boring parts" or "unexpected surprises" which is typically what makes stories interesting: when the reader is surprised... more>> (and not when every step proceeds like an instruction manual).

Spoiler

Eg. MC doesn't want to go to the capital star to early.. in the end he doesn't, he goes "just right" after he's finished developing all his family & tied up all the loose ends. Which meant like 50-60 chapters of the ML literally having nothing to do in the plot except lie on a chair and browse the internet and snuggle with the MC every night. Literally... he did nothing except look pretty.

Author basically shouldn't have had the ML appear until like North Star arc was finishing up.

[collapse]

The pacing is super slow, and the MC is too OP. I don't mind if the MC was the strongest agriculture / purifier / whatever, but MC literally also became the best chef, started their own restaurant business,

Spoiler

also in what world does opening restaurants earn you more money than livestreaming... not to mention, the idea of recipes being copyrighted is kind of absurd

[collapse]

started a livestock business, started a bootcamp for educating spoiled women, etc.

MC and family are the new conglomerates.

Also was not a fan of

Spoiler

every villain or idiot were female. And super petty.

FYI, like especially in the beginning when MC was still in the village, it was super s*upid for their neighbors to be so malicious. Usually small towns have very tight-knit communities, they wouldn't act that s*upid towards their neighbors bc every family knows each other and are interconnected.

ALSO

really annoyed at MC's crazy wealthy background. I wish his adopted parents just stayed his real parents, like is it even necessary to make MC have some kind of noble blood so as to "validate" or "legitimitize" the MC's "noble bearing" and marriage to the Prince? really dumb and clearly shows power-worship (in most CNovels, there's this underlying concept that if your family is the most powerful or the richest, you're apparently "just better" than people from less powerful families or regular families)

[collapse]

The only saving grace is that

Spoiler

the cannon fodder villains that jumped out later got converted into good people.

Trope transmigration to explain MC's ability to cook and make food. Otherwise it's a super instant 1v1. Nothing "unrevealed" is a mystery due to how unsubtle the author is. Like another reviewer wrote, the only side character relationships that aren't annoying are the pre-established ones. Anything established in present reading is one chapter harlequinn-esqe relationships, shallow and off putting. Even though I'm close to the end, I can't take anymore of this half-assed "everyone must be paired because they will run out of time" trope. Solid 3 stars.

I think it's quite amazing how I love MC and ML's relationship but hate nearly all the side couples. Literally the only good side couples are the ones created before the start of the story. I find myself skipping their parts because it's so oh boring ugh. How could the author make such bad couples next to the main who's oozing cuteness and non-toxicity all around?

MC is also quite OP and spreading his OP-ness to everyone around him and while it made me roll my eyes quite a lot, I... more>> think it's not a bad story. Really, it's a nice no brain needed kind of story, with things happening quite fast. And boy are there a lot of things happening lol

So I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to think or get too involved in a story and isn't bothered by the fricking annoying side couples- I'm literally starting to hate some characters bc of how annoying the couple they form is (ノಥ益ಥ) ノ

At least the translation is nice.

Since I haven't finished it, I'm just ranting and giving a temporary 2.5/5, only bc of the main couple and healthy relationship between MC and his birth parents and adoptive parents. We love ourselves some healthy family dynamics lol (but not with the side couples included after!!!! Did I mention how much I hated them???) <<less

Was a fun read, not a novel with a lot of toxic things. The ending disappointed me a bit, because the story stopped developing Lin Su as a character. It was interesting watching his development. The story just ffizzled out and bacame very boring and tiresome.

Also, they failed a bit with the child raising for me. Like, if you don't want kids, don't have kids. Don't treat them like an extra. Here, that is hand-waived and the kids accept it as fact. But in reality it seems very damaging and... more>> cold. Independence is nice, but participation is also cute. Th kids grew up well without friends apart from the spouses. So odd. <<less

Cozy, fluffy farming/business beastman romance.

I enjoyed the early part of the novel, when the MC and his family are struggling and he slowly introduces fruits, vegs, meat to the nutrient-solution-eating populace.

However, like many c-novels, this novel suffers from acceleration creep. At the start, it takes several chapters to establish farming vegetables and fruits. Later on, the MC is opening restaurant chains in a day, ordering braised ribs easily (when the entire interstellar never ate any meat prior), and making pineapple buns (when he was struggling to find wheat seeds the... more>> last I'd read...). Because the progress accelerates too fast without details (MC basically starts modern businesses like bubble tea, desserts, culinary academies, ranches, in a blur, etc), the story became less engrossing for me.

Also, this is one of those novel tropes where women don't exist, so there are only two genders: men, and men who can bear children and are therefore called females. Having everyone in the story be male made it harder for me to tell characters apart, not to mention the s/he/fe/male pronouns got confusing at some point.

But the translation is good, and I do enjoy cozy, optimistic, farming stories without greedy relatives. <<less

Slice of life, fast paced, no drama, MC journey are very smooth, whatever he do, he will be successful.

Everything just happen so fast, and MC just do everything he want, orchard, animal husbandry, pregnancy centre, healing centre, restaurant, factory, cooking university, zoo (?), everything he can think of, all compressed in 100 chapters.

I think the ML are kinda like background character, he doesn't have much personality, he was mostly just sleep, relaxing and wait for MC come back home.

Started out ok but then ugh CRINGE!!! It's became so sweet it actually TOXIC sweet.

MC & ML basically just dump sugar and honey in their dialuoge and then all the others just "oh, they seemed even closer and more intimate than before!" x10+ times. Story went from MC development and derailed into a whole bunch of side tracks about all the other side characters. Extras are a fantasy. Author clear know nothing about babies and how they're actually supposed to grow. Underage s*x and marriage is a thing. 2 stars... more>> for the good start. <<less

Like the title says: Fluffy and Cute.

What I liked:

Within the in-universe male and female dichotomy, there is

Spoiler

a "male/male" couple which is basically the in universe version of being gay which is completely accepted

[collapse]

The story in general.

What I disliked:

Either I missed it or him coming from another universe is never addressed outside of implying that MC's demeanor changed and one passage really late in the novel.

While not inherently bad, I personally did not like that all the "females" are written just like women just with pronouns changed rather than a diverse group with some exhibiting more masculine traits. This could have just have been a straight novel with all the pronouns changed. In fact a lot of novels without women are just like this. <<less

I have read this far and I think it's enough for me, I'll stop here.

Here's what I thought:

    • I personally like the theme, interstellar era, ger/female universe, with purification/plant ability for the female/ger.
    • The beginning is nice I guess, even though not much was said about the MC's past before transmigrating.
    • When you play RPG, the early levels are quick to level up and when the levels are higher it takes time to upgrade as the EXP required is a lot, but this novel is not it. I feel like the author is rushing to end the novel so the ability upgrade is very fast, very OP.
    • Not much to say about the ML. He is just there.
    • The description about MC is very repetitive; everybody feels close when they just met him, he has a nice smile with adorable dimples, has glittering cat eyes and is slender and tall, etc etc.
    • Too many side CPs.
    • The way I see it, everyone else appears dumber/mediocre than the MC, relying by his status and superior ability as

      natural female

      [collapse]
I conclude after all that, that this novel is very cliche with the MC radiating a nice holy father vibes (is kind, a filial child, is selfless, has many ideas, very open minded, etc) but ocassionally could be stern when the plot need it.

Spoiler

Don't forget the lost child scenario. The author really want to cram everything into one story huh.

[collapse]

I don't hate it but I can not like it. I think this story could be better, if the length of the story is longer, the description has more variation, and tell the story from others' perspective especially the ML's side.

This started out with a bang, was great about 60% of the remainder and went off the out of character rails in the last 20 chapters or so. I actually put it down because it became “oh, I love you, ” “I love you, too” every other paragraph.

That being said, I liked it overall (laughed at the brothers being Will and William). The translation is great and the MC is very straightforward and saucy.

3.9, this is just full of fluf and sweet, beside of one side cp (it's bit dramatic), for me, at first I detect there's nothing wrong with the beginning and how story end.. But they had many hyperbolic moment of describing mc's character, and somehow I find it a bit illogical bcs the intersellar setting but they need to do test pregnancy at hospital (I mean.. Didn't they had pregnancy test pack?) The purification setting also had a hole, and still had many things that need to explain to make... more>> it more visual (I like our MC ML and side character development and their nature) so the conclusion is, if u like something light, sweet, and fluffy.. This novel is for you.. Just neet to lower and blind ur IQ a bit <<less

More of slice of life.

No drama nor angst. Just MC improving the lives and constitutions of the persons living in his transmigrated world. Very smooth sailing and the details of the plot are common like farming, improving the gourmet, cooking live etc. Hence, it makes the strory somewhat boring. Overall, it's cute and good so 4stars

Extras are about their cubs.
