This is a gem. I love the MC and the characters around her. The way they act together is surprisingly authentic, there isn't anyone who's extremely s*upid or mindlessly antagonising the MC. It's refreshing to read a story where people behave like regular humans. There aren't hordes of pe*verted men chasing the MC and neither is there an abundance of scheming women. I can't express how liberating it felt to read a novel where stereotypes like that didn't come into existence. Okay, okay, admittedly there's an occasional one here and... more>> there but it isn't to the point where it became unbelievable. To tell the truth I honestly enjoyed how the characters interacted.

The only cons/potential deal-breakers I would list is how the stories she transmigrates into are based on real life stories, albeit with different names, and there's a teensy bit of MC halo on her. By that I mean she gets a decent amount of luck with the world she gets transported to. Again, it's not to the point where she can practically wish whatever she wants into existence but she does have pretty good odds. Her own effort makes up for a lot of it too.

I also have to give kudos to the translator, they did an amazing job. It never became stale or repetitive, where they falling back on the same words and phrases. On the contrary, I'm not shy to say that I had to google some of the ones I didn't know. What I have to commend most though is that everything that could be deemed unknown knowledge, whether that's game terms, some sayings or various other obscure things are all explained in a footnote at the end of the chapter. This helped a lot when it came to immersion, as not everyone knows what the author means when he throws out sayings or references to ancient people. Gaming terms are also defined, I remember a chapter towards the end where the footnote is literally as long as the entire chapter, now that's dedication.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, I love the MC and all the characters. Highly recommend.

Fellow readers this novel is a gem!! At the start it's quite slow but later it becomes really interesting. It's kind of slice of life genre at the same time it's not. I am good at writing reviews but I honestly would recommend to read this. Due to the bad rating in here I avoided it which I believe it doesn't deserve at all.

The novels nice, if you”ve read most translated novels and have lots of spare time to read for.

The development of the story may start out very confusing, though later on it gets more smoother and easier to understand. The MC basically choose”s a character in a randomly picked novel and try’s to make that character the MC inhabits to be very brought out or famous, in which the MC can inherit those “features”.

I actually register just to comment in here haha bcoz I saw evryone seems to be hating this somehow. My advice, the key is to persevere, this thing is a diamond in the rough at the beginning sooner or later I know you'll enjoy this, when you get to that point well congrats.

If you're fond of original works this book is not for you. But it doesn't mean that the twist and tweak the author did to mess with the original works isn't fun and enjoyable. If you're ok with the parodies and if you're a well read person and knows almost all of the tittles (am I weird if I say I know all the tittles used in this works...) the author of this novel played around with you're going to get curious and excited on what iconic (I mean all this parodies are famous lmao) literally works will Lady Zhao will mess around with.

Thirdly this one is special "Beautiful April" I admit even after all this years I still haven't move on in Kaori Miyazono's lies why did this author had to do me like that and made me remember wuwuwuwuwu.

And last but not the least this work could have been epic if it hadn't been kind off ubruptly cut like that, not that im saying that this book is not finish. Author made sure of it. It still have sooooo much potential tho if written correctly sadly it ends. But I understand as master Rosemary did its better to give the bento than to continue destroying it.

This book is not on the top best but not on the bottom lowest either. But if you're on, in a light fun ride give this a try.

I bet this author's heart constantly hurt while writing this. I mean haven't all this intrigues controversy unlawful acts all the other good/bad authors inside this book had done, pertaining to Drunk for her himself ahahaha he's attacking his own person lmao.

I was originally gonna give this book a 4 rating but... for the author's wittily avoiding the discrimination (its all Lady Zhao fault in leaving Shift early kind of escape) and giving the pan to our Lady Zhao. It upgrade from 4 to 5 lmao. Bcoz of course Our Lady Zhao always deserved the best haha. I just wish Zhao Youyue should hurt this author soooo badly. <<less

Never my cup of tea with the shoujo-ai subplot, my mistake. I don't know for others but in my opinion, this is very disgusting, which makes me not wanna eat for some time. Especially the harem with that MC in it, being an "herbivorous" guy which the author makes him as "a shy, soft guy plus indirectly helping" girls which fall in love with him with no regard for anything else, The Hero saves the Flesh Puppets...

The MC as Xu Ting gives "advice" to all the Flesh Puppets, which they thought they were the only ones who were told this advice by Xu Ting to have s*x with the ML, for them to "only be his" (as a sense of property).

Then as the MC who "is shy, soft" experienced these private things and accepts them with open-mindedness with a monogamy ideal, ???, it becomes worse with the MC becoming a disgusting beast craving like an animal for the flesh and sleeps with all flesh puppets. Of course, it doesn't tell as bed scenes, still, it makes me have not any liking at all to read the story anymore, I would even puke if I could but honestly, I can't. Then the MC as Xu Ting becomes yuri with his not blood-related sister.

I stopped right there, I didn't want to read this anymore, such disgusting made logic that can be accepted as something normal with no sense or feelings of guilt makes me sick...

Don't read this for your psychological safety, you may ask as to what safety, that is the mind with perverse thoughts, though this is your own choice.

If I had your grant to ask a question, the question would be: How can you want to read this?... I guess I only wish for your good to try to make you realize my point... even if it's still your choice...

(I wish... I was more careful about reading the Tags from this novel which has the Shoujo-ai Subplot, because if I did then I would have not read this, I hope so... since I never saw such a hidden nauseous tag ever in my life).

P.S 1: I am alright with some Ancient Times as Imperial Harem but there they mostly told that woman slept with the emperor and another became pregnant but not in detailed bed scenes just some phrases, while with the FL...----------> (of course I dropped it from reading those bed scenes and after some experience, I learned how to separate the novel tags most of the times).

This story is kind of confusing at first but Once you got the idea of it, it will get better. I don't really like the way author describe something that are not important unnecessarily long (Some of the chapters doesn't have any important thing.) in the story. This novel is an accurate representation of what my room looks like right now - A hot mess. The concept of the story so far doesn't have a solid core, it's all very shaky and branched out. It's also missing a sense of progression that the reader can grasp onto. One moment she's transmigrated, next she's in a dream dimension, and then back to her classroom and yet again another dream dimension. It's frustrating. Perhaps it could have been saved if the protagonist was noteworthy, but she's sadly quite the snoozefest. The reader just gets thrown into the story and takes the whole thing dry without so much as an explanatory lubricant. Whatever explanation the author gave was not enough. Ah I feel lazy after tying so many words, the other reviewers have explained in detail why this novel is not upto par. So i'll just say this, if you're bored and youve got time, read it. It has its good moments too as I found myself laughing at certain points of the ero manga arc. There are other copy paste novels that at least give the reader a minor sense of satisfaction when reading. This one did nothing for me. I went in with great expectations but sadly this happened. Also, I liked that the MC isn't just doing what she does as a job or for a reward: she seems to enjoy the process of making these characters and stories.

Only reason I gave a 4/5 is that the story isn't really trying to do anything on its own. It is entertaining and interesting, and I definitely would recommend it, but I don't really have any expectations of it either. I may edit this part and the rating by the time I get to the end. <<less
