- The translation quality and grammar aren't great.
- The plot gets a little bit convoluted at the end.
- The fight scenes are short and not very complex.
- The antagonist (introduced towards the end of the story) could be fleshed out a bit more.
- The last chapter feels a bit rushed and leaves you unsatisfied. Pros:
- One of the most interesting concepts I've seen so far. Every time they are reincarnated it's a surprise.
- This story is great for people who aren't used to Chinese light novels. It focuses on the characters and story without delving too far into cultivation or complex wuxia terms. I was able to recommend it to some friends who have never read an LN before.
- The humor in this story is great and there are lots of funny moments (and they don't feel out of place in the story).
- The feels will catch you off guard. You will probably cry several times.
- The character interactions are really the star of this story. All of the characters are likeable (even though their stubbornness can be frustrating) and you really get attached to them.
- The main characters' relationship develops very naturally. It's fun seeing them slowly develop feelings for each other (against their will) and it makes them feel more "real."
- The story is pretty fast-paced and won't leave you bored. You can finish this whole series in a day or two.
- Even though the quick ending leaves you a bit unsatisfied, the author gives you a couple of epilogue chapters to ease your pain. I'd give it 4 stars because of the low translation quality, but I decided to give it 5 stars because of the story itself.
