Quick review because I’m getting a lil disappointed as I continue to read. Although the book is quite patriotic and does bash other countries in asia like Japan and Korea as you’d expect from a Chinese written book, I found that as you go further and further in the novel it becomes more and more radical and racist while being more and more patriotic. The author seems to have forgotten that he wrote the main characters goal as being on the top of the world but now it’s suddenly become... more>> top of the world for China because all other countries are afraid and cowards because they’re afraid of the rise of China because “they know that China is the best if it continues to grow” all while ignoring the fact that countries suppress China because China is openly trying to take over land of other countries. I like the novel don’t get me wrong but the racism and radical beliefs in China are getting annoying. But all is well guys, we can read this book in bliss as we read the authors complete ignorance or maybe fear of being put to death for saying anything that does not align with the communist party. Continue author with your patriotic-ness while us readers can enjoy our freedom.

Ok so let's ignore the part about racism or patriotism because its a common things for CN. We should already know what we expect when we read them.

This novel quite different from what I expect from other urban CN. It doesnt have repetitive face slapping young master or MC collect beauties as easy as breathing.

Of course they have that arrogant young master, but they mostly engage in scheme and tricks, and this is harem so of course MC will have lots beauties around him but he got them through slow... more>> process and tempering. He got the 1st one around 200th chap and another one around 500th chap. MC and the girl have their own life purpose and background. Even some event is absurd, but their thinking is pretty realistic compare with other harem urban CN.

So its pretty decent and worth to read if you like urban CN, as mostly novel with this genre is tr*sh. Of course its nothing good if you compare with other masterpiece CN. Just give it a try <<less
