Lu Ze transmigrated to the interstellar era two thousand years later.
The previous owner of this body had lovey-dovey parents and a cute little sister. Although his cultivation talent was ordinary, his life was fulfilling. It could be said to be a dream start. Lu Ze was very happy.
However, as soon as he slept, he came to a strange dimension.
He almost got taken out trying to fight an one meter tall huge white rabbit. After making the arduous kill, Lu Ze found that things didn’t seem to be so simple.
After killing prey in this dimension, he could get little orbs that could be used for cultivation.
This was going to make him an eternal jungler.
But he seemed to be able to hope for domination of the cosmos and invincibility?

There is a fine line between comedy and something that ends up being funny and a joke; this isn't it. This novel isn't comedy, it's just a parody. And if the lines of each 'paragraph' with most of them not even being larger than a dozen words not being obvious enough, then the childish behavior and all nonsense that happens for MC, because MC, why MC, accidentally to MC and derivatives SHOULD be enough exposure then.

Power levels are just as amazing as TV show's, for nobody wants to work hard... more>> to get their job done, great effort!

I've already wrote about BSWR's writing childishness (not skill) and the childishness of the whole novel itself, so no writing about its romance, characters, plot and so on.

Basically.

It is so.

Dumb.

So in.

Short.

....

It is.

For.

Children. <<less

Story premise is excellent and story execution, building and development is pretty good.

Overall novel is satisfying and good experience throughout reading time. Pretty interesting, no arrogant characters, no boring elements. Harem element is nice just with little bit of cliche moments.

Main character development is not so satisfying. Comedic undertones of MC is a bit let down for the story. Story may look more intriguing and more approachable if MC is not so childish. I think MC is pretty much matured, it can be seen throughout story but it's the problem... more>> created by author that MC looks childish and a comedian.

I will recommend it for sure so you can enjoy a good Harem novel. <<less

I am really enjoying this. It is lighthearted and a bit silly, but there is a constant reigning in of the nonsense so it doesn’t ever seem too much for me.

Some of the characters are annoying for a while, but the author has a way of making them more palatable and even bringing them to likeability over time. I don’t understand it but whatever technique the author is using works on me.

The power growth is crazy fast, and it is acknowledged in the story, but the power levels around the... more>> MC are also ridiculously high so we never quite feel the MC is OP in any but a relative sense (compared to classmates).

I hardly notice the story, as it is more lighthearted than that – it is about the character’s reactions to stuff more than any plot, at least so far. What there is of story is okay and serves the writing well. <<less

This novel is quite laidback. MC is OP and is slightly ret*rded for comedic purpose. MC rise in power has spikes as he mainly depends on pocket hunting dimension for resources. So, sometime he levels up few levels, while other times he can just go from one realm to other. Comedy is more slapstick based, so if you don't like those kind of comedy, then you will probably not like this novel.

Battles are detailed and not boring to read. No young masters to get face slapped, no racism and such... more>> bullsh*t and unlike many other novels, the old guys in this novel are really intelligent. They don't get jealous over MC's fast rise in cultivation. They even see hope in him and people around him. So, it's a quite good novel. Humans are very united because they realise their only strenght is in numbers and they are weak otherwise.

Nice laidback interstellar scifis cultivation era novel. MC is likeable, there is no racism, there is harem, plot armor thicc. All in all a good novel to read as the tone is comedic. Sometimes the Pocket dimension feels a little boring but MC's quirks manages to help us tide through thise boring parts. Rating 5/5 for now. Will update when more is translated.

From a guy who is not a fan of harem novels.

It's a Comedy/Action but almost all the jokes are at the MC expense. This MC was written to be s*upid and his s*upidity is the humor of the novel. At times I even LOL. The down side is the MC's mentality changes when the author needs it, at times he's like a normal person when fighting and then at others he's like a genius but mostly hes I can't believe your alive level of s*upid when he's around just about... more>> anybody. These shifts can take a reader out of immersion. In short, if you want a light time killer it's not a bad read.

If your looking for a cool ruthless MC then keep looking.

If you looking for Harems, a comedic MC with a action backdrop your in the right place.

4 stars because it deserves it sofar. <<less

Actually I enjoyed this "trial" (60 chapters), at least the translation it's not that bad
Spoiler

continuing to read the story though is another story.

[collapse]
the "flow" of the story is pretty consistent even though

Spoiler

it is kinda normal, in my opinion using the word "cliche" does do it justice because with all the novels and stories being written/ have been written/ will be written in different cultures/languages/countries of course there will surely be an overlap/overused of any expression, idea, or element of an artistic work ~ it is pretty much unavoidable (but could be minimize :)) and if you really are trying to find a very original piece of work (which is really difficult) try those written by ancient authors - they were the original ones or maybe study the writing or drawings of cavemen... those were the original stories - the stories that came after those will just be a "cliche"

[collapse]

with that said, a concern I had with it was

Spoiler

it might really developed into a sis-con or bro-con? although not really a problem as they are unrelated by blood, still they grow up together but oh well to each his own :)

[collapse]

Again take what I've written here with a grain of salt because this is just

Spoiler

a fun review. ahahahaha

Good:

  • Start of book is interesting.
  • Interesting world building and many cool plot ideas, which sadly author doesn't ever develop.
Bad:

  • Ends very, very abruptly, author pretty much rushed the book from 55% finished to 100% in like 50 chapters.
    Spoiler

MC skipped few major stages of cultivation with like perhaps 1 fight in each of the major stages and then timeskip for few months and repeat.

    [collapse]
  • Author never developed anything in depth despite having tons of potential for plot ideas already in the story.
  • Never explained what PHD really is, how it came to be.
  • Very repetitive characters and behavior.
    Spoiler

Harem girls go from having a personality to being random generic chicks that all act in a same way and just serve as hench (wo) men for the MC, comedy in novel is pretty much MC saying something and then the girls beating him up which gets really boring after a while.

    [collapse]
  • Very unsatisfying conclusion to the book.
Conclusion:

Decent novel with a very rushed ending, I'd recommend reading this if you have nothing else to read. Don't expect particularly elaborate plot, it's mostly simple plots, characters and the interesting point is probably the world building.

The story was interesting at first, but it got blend real quick. It's the same f*cking sh*t everytime, but honestly I don't have a problem with that as long as it is interesting. The MC personality was funny at the most part, but it got tiring after a few hundred chapters. The comedic part was sometime so over exaggerated that it just ruins the entire novel.

Honestly the worst part was the Harem. I typically liked the harem and romance part in novels since it brings a change of pace but... more>> jesus, this is some of the worst women in history. MC was providing Orbs for them to cultivate every single f*cking day, and they still treat him like shit. I was able to endure it for 500 chapters, but its getting fking ridiculous at this point. They don't have a shred of respect for the MC at all. While everyone only has 1 or 2 God arts, MC was providing God Arts to the harem members like candy. Instead of being slightly grateful, the alcoholic hoe and the rest of the harem just constantly beats up and put down the MC over the slightly inconvenient every chapter. MC doesn't even do anything about it except b*tches about it how he gonna take revenge but never does.

Unlike other novels with the harem do their own things and appear in some chapters, the women in PHD appear in every chapter. So just imagine every chapter of MC being abused physically and verbally. Funny at first, but after few hundred chapters of reading these black hearted shameless whores, it gets really unbearable. <<less

I tried to read it. I really tried. However, this story triggers too many of my pet peeves. I only managed to last 43 chapters. Therefore, be advised that my review is heavily skewed due to personal preferences and subjective.

So overall, it looks like one of those generic futuristic cultivation stories. That in itself isn't bad or good; I'll admit that I read too little to judge that, though on the other hand I haven't really seen any mentions of advanced technologies in daily life (if there is literally a... more>> human country occupying part of the galaxy with many planets, then it doesn't make sense that there's no advanced technologies in their daily lives; they simply seem to live like they're in 21st century...).

Overall, this is a comedy, and we have three main comedic styles: general comical tone of narration (good), occasional satirizing of cultivation tropes and cliches (okay), and old anime humor style with slapstick comedy and guys shitting pants because scary women (I f*cking hate it and I almost wish the author died for writing that shit). Oh man, the MC may be funny, but he's such a little piece of sh*t with his (step) sister walking all over him. When he got stronger than her, it's still the same, and she keeps on being an atrocious b*tch.

I mean, it'd be fine if it was just his sister, but she's clearly the main love interest in this story. The first love interest that came after her is literally 1000% better than her. Now don't get me wrong, a love interest can be a b*tch, but how can she also be a bit*h to the one she loves? It's like one of those tomboys or stern women who don't know how to tell a boy they like him, so they bully him in various ways (I know examples irl, including one bit*h female boss who kept on giving a guy a shitload of work, hoping he'd be able to distinguish himself and advance his career, only to make him hate her for being a bit*h boss, and then ask other people why it didn't work). How is she supposed to make MC like her? Well, we all know he will, because she's a beauty and because he's f*cking scared of her, so he won't ever reject her. Ugh, I get it, men are scared of offending their important women because they don't want to hurt or displease them, but there should be limits to walking on eggshells because of that. Where's their self-respect? Or is the author a masochistic pig who enjoys this sort of "romance" (more like travesty of romance) ?

Okay, putting my rant aside, let's just sum up MC as someone who acts bossy when dealing with those weaker than him but also someone who acts like a little pu*sy to those "above" him, and proceed to other characters. It's a bit too early to judge them, but they seem pretty cliche and generic so far (to the extent where it's neither good nor bad, just meh or too early to judge). Tbh it doesn't seem like initial characters from school will matter after several hundred chapters if I know anything of novels like this. Except the love interests, of course.

Cultivation seems cliche so far. So does the setting. Entering a secret dimension to exp isn't bad, but MC is too casual about dying there, and may God forgive the author for all those shitty League of Legends references, coz I won't (no offense, LoL players, but LoL, DOTA, and similar games are tr*sh imo; DOTA was good when it was still part of Warcraft III back in prehistoric times, and when it had interesting characters from other media, but the current games are much overrated, and I don't get why would anyone want to play with the toxic players at least one of those games is full of). Like I already said, author should get his head knocked for not putting any effort into his futuristic setting. I mean, at this point he could've just made a parallel world Earth in 21st century with different countries like some other authors. 40 chapters, and not a single mention of high-tech devices except for virtual reality? GG lol.

As for plot, it's very generic, but it's excusable given it's only the start. It'd be fun if the author could've come up with something more imaginative, but maybe he did later (after all, this story is finished and fully translated, with 1300+ chapters available iirc). It's just that too much of the plot is focused on mc's stepsis, and by God I can't take that shit, while the actual cultivation and other dimension action can't interest me much when I hate on the main character and female lead.

Alright, folks, that marks the end of the rant review. I rarely write such angry pieces, but this f*cking author just had to piss me off with the sh*t I hate the most when my mood is bad and I tried to lift it by reading something. Piece of sh*t Blue Sky Washing Rain (author). No wonder this novel had the bullying tag, what I pity I missed it before. as*hole is just bullying readers by writing this sort of crap for romance. <<less

I actually quite like that he supports the extended family. I've seen the criticism in a couple places that "he just gives it all away." This is something that's been bothering me about the dungeon-progress subgenre. Even in sololeveling, he had the option to make parties and thus level people up but just never did it. All these selfish buttholes are really hard to relate to. With this novel though, at least where I'm at, it's only for the ladies. It'd feel more organic if he had guy friends or... more>> even guy friends that also have relationships.

MC seems like an idiot because his lived experience is so different. He dies almost daily in the pocket hunting dimension which leads to a drastically reduced sense of crisis.

Relationships in the novel is all pretty much one note with varying degrees of tone. It's all just different expressions of hen-pecking.

Progression is quite fun, at least so far. Author, or translator, doesn't manage inventory well. If you like your progression with strict litrpg then this might be a bit triggering. Essentially, he'll just always have resources. They only do an okay job of tracking inventory in relation to major powerups. <<less

Promising premise, bogged down by unnecessary "comedy" that isn't funny, unless there's some sort of cultural difference with Mainland Chinese people who find that sort of thing humorous.

It became a chore to read around 5 or 6 chapters in, and I don't look for chores during what I expect to be snack-reading.

I can't man, I can't, I give up! Reading this novel feels like a chore and the plot is looped!

Let's start with the meat and potatoes of all cultivation novels, the cultivation! Just what is going on with Lu Ze's cultivation? Why does he have 3 cultivation realms at the same time and why did the author think this was a good idea? (Also, the whole aperture system/spirit body/god strength multiplier, just terrible)

Oh well, the cultivation aspect of the novel is pathetic but the mc's personality kinda makes up... more>> for it right? WRONG, he's straight up braindead, a pushover and for some reason the author thinks that having him get beaten up by his elders is funny or something, character development? Nowhere in sight! (200 chapters in btw)

What about the novel itself though? It puts you to sleep, seriously, you'll be stuck inside this (Lu Ze fights X beast / gets killed by X beast > Lu Ze absorbs X color orb > Lu Ze "shocks" people > Lu Ze goes back to the pocket dimension) loop for the first 200 chapters, is this entertaining for you? Not for me.

Also, this is one of those novels where the author keeps writing characters in a way just for the sake of annoying the MC and the reader, sorry but I'm not wasting my time hate-reading this turd, hoping it becomes gold. <<less

Its dumb fun, I read around 800 chapters in around two days.

Alot of times I found myself laughing at the situation, but it did get old pretty quick.

Here is why I lost my interest in it, minor spoilers.

Spoiler

The romance, holy sh*t is it annoying. Ive never been so frustrated reading their interactions. It feels like the author wants them to commit to a full relationship then halfway through writing the chapter they changed their mind and keep friendzoning themselves, then they all get drunk and boom now they kiss every other chapter. But they artn dating, of course. And did I mention there are 5 love interests? And they are all equally annoying? Genuinely, if your reading this novel for the romance man I'm telling you now its rough and uninteresting to read.

[collapse]

The MC seems to have no issues with sharing what he gets from the pocket dimension, which is alright. There is always the repetitive "maybe in 1000 years he can lead the human race when he reaches x stage."

I hoped this novel would have progressed faster than it did, 800 chapters in 2 days is a new record for me, and I sacrificed a lot for it. Do I regret it? Yes and no. The novel was an overall alright read, I will probably finish it. I just wish I read it way slower than I did. <<less

MC here is quite literally the definition of a doormat. He hands out what may be the most precious cultivation resource in existence (his orbs) and yet gets beat up and bullied all over the place. It's absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention the girls who are taking massive advantage with the orbs and still constantly bullying him, our MC has literally saved Merlin's daughter and wife's LIVES and he still keeps giving him no good attitude and beating him up. And our MC apparently is perfectly fine with this and... more>> has no objections? So frustrating. <<less

First of all. Thank you for this good novel author, then let start our novel review. The novel is on the light hearted side, it is a slice of life kinda genre, a little bit on a fast pace because MC has an OP cheat. It is a good read I dont know why people rated it low but I guess its preference, but for me when your not reading anything, this is a good pick. A comedic on the side, when they're not fighting, only bad thing is this... more>> a little bit rush on the ending. But all in all I like this one. One of the best novels that I have read. The setting is good, the characters are memorable, the pacing isn't too fast nor too slow, not a situation where higher-level enemies hang upon the MC's head all the time, has some amazing sol and relaxing chapters, and adequate amount of training and cultivation arc and most of all has a harem. And another important factor that I personally liked is that the MC pursues his harem properly. He is not the generic dense indecisive MC, rather he pursues all the... more>> girls properly. All of them have enough screen time and the fuzzy moments were great.
Overall very fulfilling read and definitely worth the time. The only pity is that I feel the novel is short and there should have been some afterword about their daily life or something. <<less

Just gets worse the further you read. In the beginning the MC acted serious at least sometimes, but the further you go the more childish he becomes. When he goes into a trial to earn a spot into a university the only thing he cares about is collecting food ingredients and looking cool instead of actually trying to earn the spot he needs. Not much later he’s literally laughing and joking about food and being a foodie as he’s flying around in a war zone and his companions are being... more>> killed. The female characters are terrible, and everyone else is there to admire how great the MC is. <<less
