Zhong Nuannuan was startled. She pushed the female prison guard to the side and ran toward the waiting room. She did not even bother to put on her shoes. If not for the icy feeling she felt at every step of the way reminding her that this was not a dream, Zhong Nuannuan would not have believed that she had resurrected.

This is just up my alley. I really don't know why the rating is so low, this is one of my favorite books.

RELATIONSHIP: The ML and FL relationship reminds me of the "She Become Sweet and Cuddly". Just because of the way ML really loves FL and gets super shocked and happy when FL starts to reciprocate. This is because before the FL went back in time/ (in the case of the other book) had amnesia, both the ML were treated insignificantly. And so they are super cute when FL's... more>> attitude changes. The pace of their attitude change is different just because of how the plot is written out but for this book the change is pretty instant. Honestly their relationship, in my opinion, is soooooo wholesome. He's scared that she would not like it if he acts close to her: like he wants to hug her but won't. In this way you can see that he respects FL personal boundaries and isn't forceful. He's super ready to indulge her if she requests anything. Btw FL is in high school and ML is like 22? (If anyone has like a list of these kinds of books or something plz message reccommendation)

SETTING: This story is one of those where the female lead dies and gets reborn earlier in her life. In her last life I can't recall exactly how they died but ML tried to protect her and (iirc) they both ended up dying. So this new life that she was given she wants to spend it giving back to ML like treating ML health issues that pop up later in his life before they get super bad. Family drama in her life is mostly incited by her jealous sister and mother. Her dad (in the military) gets mad if she gets bullied but that hasn't stopped them. Her sister likes ML who has a promising future (he's young with a high position in the military) which is part if the reason why she wasn't close to ML before. Oh right, ML and FL are "together" (even tho old her didnt want to be) because the sister drugged her and she slept with ML so I think he took "responsibility". She transmigrated back to the scene where she is getting released from jail (or juvie (?)) So that was new and interesting.

If at this point you feel like "omg sounds so much like other novels, plot is so overused". I just want to say read a couple chapters first and then decide. The story is well written and not boring (imo) and I love the relationship soooooo. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but if at least the relationship part interested you then give it a chance.

FL: Honestly FL is pretty OP with her acupuncture skills and her mysterious "background". Apparently she had gotten kidnapped when she was younger and "lived in a farming district until recently" Or so her mom and sister like to bring up. She uses that as a cover for what she really happened when she was separated from her family. Anywho, this actually makes her have mad fighting skills (she's badass) and super rich.

ML: I don't really have much to say. ML is a high position at a young age in the military. His background is apparently not simple either. (Even now at ch 200ish it's still not been revealed the backgrounds of FL and ML. FL background is more alluded to and while we know the benefits, we don't know how she got there. Nothing really about ML has gotten revealed besides speculations of FL) Relationship wise ML ofcourse is very cute. He is very doting on FL and if she tells him to do things he will listen. (Not that she does that a lot) He likes her a lot but is kind of quiet at the beginning because he doesn't want to scare her off lol. But he basically cares for her more than her family cares for her. He doesn't know about FL background either lol.

In conclusion, its really nice go and give it a try before getting scared off by the ratings or the setting that I described. Happy reading! <<less

Ok I had a hard impulse to write this review.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! The evil cannon fodders in this novel are soooo f**king shameless like damn.

This novel can be a competition arena for shameless people. Who can be more shameless than the other one. Who has the thicker skin than other one.

Knowing that a guy is ignoring you, still you shamelessly try engage in conversation where the guy does not even look at you let alone speak with you, I was speechless by their shamelessness that I had to mention it... more>> here. HAHAHA!

Otherwise, this is an ok novel. Love the FL who is strong and love the ML who dotes on FL.

Recommended for light reading and for those who wants to really know how shameless people can be. <<less

Reading such drivels sometimes makes me question my sanity...I went into this with zero expectations and it still managed to astound me with it's s*upidity and illogical storyline...

MC is so OP that by the age of 17 (so far), she became an expert in 1) Chinese medicine and acupuncture, 2) business speculations to become tycoon, 3) expert fighter skilled enough to beat gangsters and kill mobsters using playing cards and expert in using firearms, 4) possesses extreme mental power to have eidetic (?) memory, 5) possesses X-ray vision, AND YET,... more>> in her first life, she was fooled and cheated and beaten to death by the most idiotic mother-daughter pair!!! She's supposed to be brilliant enough to speculate stocks and become a huge company Boss, but she can't see through some s*upid high schoolers and her stoic fiancee... she had to die once to comprehend everyone's behaviour!!!

All these 170+ chapters so far are a rinse and repeat of the idiot mother-daughter trying to show up MC and badly getting face slapped in different settings... high schoolers with fake implants, literally salivating and falling over men in an attempt to get rich husbands... with a mysterious germophobe cold brilliant handsome uber-rich ML appearing from time to time to dote on MC here and there...

Kudos to the author to manage to write 3500+ chapters of such nonsense and still keep getting published... <<less

I'm not sure how I feel about this. The interactions between the MC and the villains are bizarre. Most of the time she directly abandons all pretense at civility with them and faceslaps them with savage comebacks. But then after 2-3 paragraphs, the villains are happily rolling around again pretending nothing happened. So it's both refreshing and like punching cotton.

I really want to know where can I read a good completed translation of this novel. I am willing to pay just to finish this book. I love it. The FL is smart and witty. She is really set on who she is too so the character is really well done. I love the relationship she has with others, especially the ML. Love this book 10/10. Someone please help me find a way to finish this book!!!

The first chapters of this novel is a bit misleading as most readers (including I) thought that the FL is silly white sweet kinda weak FL who depends entirely on the Ml. But no way I was so wrong, as the story progress so does the secrets unveil, the FL is badass mercenary whose got a whole empire of business and supernatural powers and golden finger hidden identity. Those crying white scheming lotus are no match for Mc’s poison tongue as well. She might as well kill them just by... more>> opening her mouth lol. It’s a very interesting story where there is no overbearing Ml, but a sweet and doting one. Mc’s backstory is sad but it all makes up in her this reincarnated life where she got no regrets. There are no slow face slapping moments, she delivers the punches just as the villains try to open their mouth. And the ML is a pure wife protector, going on mother hen mode if someone slanders his wife (so sweet). So one can try and read it as it doesn’t have much heavy topics but can be regarded as light hearted one with short but many chapters. <<less

  • Y'know what, I went into this story expecting to stop enjoying very early on but the moment the initial awkwardness was gone I fell in love with it. The ml's cute and the fl's powerful.

    They still choose to deal with minor villains, which isn't that up my alley when you take into account they don't have to but otherwise, a great read.

    I'm still early into the story though so I might change my opinion eventually but that's unlikely

The sister, Zhong Qianqian, is really s*upid that I feel embrassed for her. I mean why the writer wrote her so shameless like the writer so damn hate Qianqian for live. For entertaining the story? Okay the mother is so hateful but the father like? I dont know why he biased to Qianqian or sometimes just silently watch Qianqian and mother bully Nuannuan. But sometime he suddenly like a good man and stand up Nuannuan, like so fake? You keep silent but then defend Nuannuan, geez it is more hateful... more>> than Qianqian and mother.

I actually love story with girl reborn and awake that a man loved her deadly, such as My Husband With Scholar Syndrome and Please Confess to Me. I don't know will I like this one but when I have free time I gotta read this and change my review later. <<less

If you like slapping novel then this novel was the right choice for you because face slapping almost happened in every chapters, mostly came from MC's love rival. It might feel repetitive because the face slapping pattern was almost the same but for me who love face slapping the most, it just felt amusing.

The plot itself wasn't that intriguing but it still successfully hooked me until the last chapters. The reason for her death in her last life still felt unbelievable though because how the powerful and smart her fell... more>> for the lousy trick of her stepmom and half-sister? It didn't make sense. I also didn't like the way MC and ML got together.

They got together because ML rap*d her. Although it wasn't entirely ML's fault because he was drugged (which was also quite s*upid because he was also quite powerful but still fell for this common trick), it still didn't feel good to me. It also wasn't a glorious thing for ML since he immediately applied for military marriage without MC's consent. No wonder the past MC hated him.

As for the ending, there's almost no loose ends and people who should get retribution and face slapping, got their retribution and face slapping. <<less

Typical story of a girl who has a million secret identities marries a guy who also has secret identities. The twist for this story is that there are people in the world who have superpowers (individual to a person) and both the ML and FL have their own abilities and their own forces that support them, especially against other superpowered people who seem to have a grudge against them.

The way the FL's scummy family ended up was really satisfying. I just thought that whole thing was really clever, and her... more>> finding out the truth was great.

I think I ended up stopping because the constant cliffhangers about this mysterious antagonist were getting tiring and supernatural powers just appeared out of nowhere? Not superpowers, but like ghost cultivation and witchcraft that I guess anybody can use. I might continue reading since I saw it's finished, but I've also seen spoilers already. A different webnovel referenced this novel within their story, and spoiled one of the plot twists, which I thought was really funny. <<less

Just like any other novels with the white lotus fool of a sister, but this sister is in another class of her own, and I personally like how the author portrays it :3, I mean even when she's exposed she still continues her foolish wiles like all them people are invisible and it's really hilarious and not to mention that evil "mother" of hers is just one of those evil bish lmao. For the father well all I can say is that he has some brains...

FL has a really shape tongue 🤣 I like it, she slap people with simply facts and they can't refute back. So op so shape and don't beat around the bush.

ML is the boring type but that maybe because he from military family, boring I mean he doesn't know how to court girl and always has cold face, he improve later on though. And he really protective of his lady the fl😏

Wow, as another reviewer noted, I’m also speechless at how shameless the evil cannon fodders are in this story so far. They just keep coming back after ML and FL teach them one lesson after another lol.

Ok. The plot IS cliche - FL gets a second chance at life and goes back in time before everything begins to go haywire. FL used to treat ML like crap, but after living her first life she realizes ML is her true love, and now tries to atone for the things she had... more>> done in the past. Their love slowly blossoms. And of course, who tries to get in the way of their relationship? MANY MANY shameless white lotus cannon fodders (and others more straightforward). But who is ML and FL? Two people with very strong & mysterious background and hidden abilities. And thus we see face-slapping throughout the novel haha.

Anyways, yes it is cliche, but who is to say one can’t read more of these face slapping novels! So far, I am enjoying the story but also hoping the author will soon get rid of some of these darn cannon fodders hovering all over the ML. It does get annoying at one point. I swear they just don’t know when to call it quits. Will update my review once I read more of the story. Currently reading the raw version. <<less
