For the positive I'll say it's a cute read for in-between and the translation is very very good.

I dropped it because it just got boring at some point. I do like fluffy, cute and non-toxic stories but there has to be some kind of drama or conflict for it to be interesting.

I think people who rate this a 5/5 haven't been reading for a long time or haven't read the actually good stories. Not saying that this is horrible or not worth reading but it's definitely not a 5/5.

I love this novel, because it's not a rushed story where you have to depend on the extras to get a complete ending/read about their life as a couple. It's really relaxing and fun to read, while you also don't get bored of it.

The story is really well written (including the translation), with good characters and a love that doesn't start randomly. Though some people may find the MC and ML getting together too sudden (especially the getting children part), and while I can't say that this is not the... more>> case, I can say that at least the romance did actually develop beforehand (MC was just really hesitant because of something, but that gets resolved before they get together). Still, it has only about 70 chapters so you shouldn't expect full on emotional drama and torment that streches over several chapters (especially because the second half of the story is about their life as boyfriends/...).

Honestly I would say it really gives the Slice of Life tag credit, with a wonderful romance, a bit of child raising (or in this case dragon/pet raising) and climbing up the career latter.

It's a heartwarming and relaxing novel, so you shouldn't read it, if you want something deep and dramatic (because it isn't, especially the second half is mostly fluff (really cute fluff)). <<less

For whatever reason when I think of favorite danmei novels that I read this one is always one of the first few that pops up in my head. I love how the author wrote the beginning of the story that will hook you and can't help wanting to read more. Its sexy, funny and touching in some parts. Characters are very likeable. There were instances that I really laughed out loud. No smut but some chapters where MC and ML got together were so hot.

Fluffy with some little bit of angst here and there.

This is mostly a story where after very tough times, the MC is now getting the rewards for his hard work and dedication over the years. Easy to read and feel good story.

It was an amazing novel, simple and heartwarming.

Short simple sweet smooth and babies. Something to pass few hours to cleanse the mind from drama. This novel has no drama or dogblood at all. Everything is smooth sailing, the translation was great and easy to understand, the MC and ML development was cute and lightning fast. Everything was straight to the point so I don't think you'll be left questioning about the plot, no expectations were formed so I wasn't left unsatisfied. Good read.

If you’ve had the impression like I did, that this story will be 100% fluff from Chapter 1-79; they lied🤧 But don’t worry, when the fluff does come, it’s super sweet with spice.

The ML is a gem🥰. Well, not at first 😅 I’m glad I kept an open mind to learn more about him. The MC was lovable as well, he has the ability to survive from bad experiences and even though it’s not always the right decision; he stood his ground and tries to solve it himself.

I don’t why some people where complaining about his behavior when he and the Gong got together. Didn’t you read where he gave his all to his ex and ended up with garbage? Imagine what he can do and more with the right lover for him. I bet that most of us do the same when we’re in love; wanting cuddles and not wanting to separate for more than a certain amount of time.🙄

Cute cp and good side characters, supernatural parts were súper weird and the translation a little too (i didnt know if they where little ducks or male prostit**es) because the humor is that level of weird but it is so fun I didnt really mind. The only downside is the showbiz part, like it is really not realistic (none of it is, clearly, but I had some hopes for the "real world" part) so don't expect for the Best showbiz... more>> narrative cuz is totally Gary Sue

I feel like I've got diabetes reading this novel hahaha! Too sweet, nothing but pure sweetness! Nan Huailin is an ugly duckling turn into a beautiful man after tasting the essence of a dragon Fei Cheng hahaha! The smut is not that details but its ok! Love it a must read!

To be honest this novel is only for light reading. For the first few chapters I felt so bad for him (MC) but as the story goes on it gets better for him.

This story is really fluffy and cute! I read all way through the story. I want this story to have some more chapters. There is no dog blood at all. It’s nice to read even though some behaviors were inappropriate.

I don’t know why this story’s rating is so low, but still I recommend it if you like something fluffy and light mind to read.
