Nan HuaiLin is a small-time actor, but he’s a professional. Plot is good. Pacing is good. There's nothing exceptional about the story, but it's good for a light reading.

Dog food 24/7. If you're single, RIP. If you're in a relationship, you'll feel that your partner is lacking. Lol

If you're looking for a family-like story, I don't think this is it. By the preview, you might think this is a family story. But tbh, it's quite lacking in that area. I didn't felt the family aura. The MC and ML is a lil bit detached to their kids, tbh.

For me, the novel was more of a smut one with a dash of a plot to move it forward, than fluffy and cute. It just felt dull and if im honest I even checked how many chapters were left because I was done by the last 10 chapters.

whether its the MC's surprising acting skills that got him discovered only after he was dumped by the ex, the relationship between the MC and the ML, the extinction of the dragons, the fertility of the MC, the fact that the ML was behaving like a 20 year old when he was almost 300, and so many many more.

This is the perfect novel if you’re looking for light reading! Read this after a darker novel to get rid of any negative emotions such as anger, sadness, and/or trauma.

The gong does not bully or humiliate the shou. There is no violence. There is no major drama. Instead, there is a lot of cute fluff and some fairytale-type elements.

Don’t let the low rating let you miss this!

This novel is really cute, definitely not perfect but it’s heartwarming in it’s own way. Definitely worth the read! (Try reading up to chapter 10 first before judging if this is right for you or not)

The summary takes about half the entire novel to fully unravel and I enjoyed this half. It actually had a fairly decent plot. Unfortunately, the latter half was uneventful and pretty much just the MC and ML being sweet to each other and reproducing like rabbits. I did drop the novel after a while of this because it just got too boring and also because of my overall growing distaste for it. I really cannot wrap my head around why the author took the MC and from average-looking transformed him... more>> into beautiful via magical pregnancy. It's not just nonsensical, but also really cheap and gives such a bad message. Especially put together with the MC going from a poor struggling unknown actor into a great successful star!

This is supposed to be a 'feel good' story, but I'm not really left feeling very good from it. The MC spent a few years working hard for something, pretty much the entire first half is exactly about this work, then just as he is reaching that dream (still only 24yo), there is a very sudden turn of events and he's like "now I just wanna go make hundreds babies". It's all quite abrupt and it feels like all that progress we witnessed just got tossed out the window. Not a good feeling at all. <<less

So, it's not bad. Just a bit slow on the storyline, focussing on the acting parts still and that part isn't interesting for me so I started skimming from ch26.

The story has good elements, but it's just really not my kind of story. I was excited for dragon babies but I prefer feel good stories and so far, besides it being slow, there's too much angst in this story.

ch38, finally the truth is out. I do appreciate how the MC just came out and said he laid the eggs and the misunderstanding was solved in one chapter, too. I waited 30+ chapters for this but at least it isn't dragged out.

This novel was a pleasant smooth romance ride.

It had lots of potential for plot twists, but it seems the writer just wanted to keep it in safe zone of bubble love. I loved the characters and their relationships.

It was a pleasant binge reading and honestly, I used it to max to avoid my work for my thesis 😅

I know a writer who always reminds me that the best endings (for characters and stories) are both inevitable and earned. This novel gave me this feeling.

It's heartwarming, the romance requires some work. But they also fall into each other's worlds seemingly by complete accident.

The side characters have satisfying stories as well. Understandable hesitations and fears.

I really enjoyed this and translation wa top notch as usual

As an American reader, who is localish to the area that was mentioned... I missed what restaurant they decided to go to but then I was like oh with X landmark they should be going to Y restaurant... I scrolled back a few paragraphs and yep.

So good job not throwing me completely out of the story with that author!

Fairly uneventful fluffy novel.

MC and ML barely have any misunderstandings, their relationship develops pretty fast, nothing too dramatic or sad. The reveals and clearing of misunderstandings are also very smooth going.

With that said, it has everything that makes most slice of life extremely boring of a genre to read. The story basically ends in the first half but the author drags it on with epilogue type extras for another half. There's only so many chapters of them rinse and repeating their happy reveal of their relationship one by one to... more>> extremely supportive family, friends, strangers on the street, etc around them that I can take. One by one.

I was going to rate this a 5 star cuz short fluffy feelsgood read, but good lord did the writing and story sink and drag once MC and ML got together. What could've been a satisfying maybe 5 chapters worth of ending got turned into 30ish chapters of toilet water. So average out the 5star and 1star = 3. <<less

I don't know why the rating is low, but this is honestly good! ❤️ It's a roller coaster story in the middle of the story and a very heart warming and fluff afterwards. I also like that the ML isn't not the partner of MC in the movies and other persons are partnered with MC in the love scenes movies

This, is actually so cute UwU. It's simple, heartwarming, and a good novel to read to pass the time. Not much intrigue or dog-blooded dramas and that's why I think it's lovely.

There are scenes where you could smell a misunderstanding drama of that sort but ML is such an honest and straightforward person that the problem would be solve before it gets out of hand. And I like that very much~

Omg it was totally unexpected for me! !!

When I started reading it, I felt it a bit dark to my preference due to the insult MC has to face and the whole pimping stuff, I thought it would be a bit depressing story but damn the later chapters were do unexpected.

In reality it deserve a solid 4.2 for me but due to few special effects in story I decided to give it 5.

Few early chapters were a bit dark but later it was so much fluff, I am dying... more>> due to the over sweetness.

One of the plus point of the story, was when MC gave birth to eggs he didn't hide it from ML and confessed it to him and cleared the misunderstandings, unlike other story's where MC starts panicking and run to live a life in seclusion. It was really an amazing plus point from me, as the ML was there from the beginning.

And their kids oh damn so much moe, I want to read more chapters about them.

At earlier chapters I thought mls brother could be the ML the cold unfeeling type. But thank god he finally found his love and had a happy life.

And lancelot he was a sweetheart, loved the fact he could move on and find his love.

I found the ending quite abrupt, as we find MC's parents talking about how the MC was actually adopted, but ni further explanations, and the red bird described by lance was also not mentioned but I felt it had something to do with MC, he could be a Phoenix or something (just my imaginative mind (͡ _ ͡°) ﾉ⚲ ♫)

Overall an amazing story with sweet and fulfilling romance but hoped if smut scenes could be explained (≧∇≦) / and it had overwhelming amount of fluff and childcare a nice read, I would I highly recommend it to all of u.

It is pretty good—binged it in a day—and I don't even like mpreg. My only complaints are the characterization of the MC and plot development (could be improved), some logic is skewed, and the few plot holes scattered here and there. Otherwise, it's a slice-of-life with a very healthy couple that showers dog food everywhere.

Overall, really liked the ML and enjoyed the story a lot!

Should've ended much much earlier than it did. The time they said I love yous to each other would've been good. Everything else after that felt like prolonged extras and just made everything more bland and boring.

And this was already bland to begin with. No character development. Flat characters, flat plot, juvenile writing. But it was still fluffy before it got bogged down by the weak attempt in portraying their family life.

Its very fluffy! Pacing is fast and there aren't any misunderstandings hence theres no angst haha

I would've like it if the story expounded more on MC's history and maybe more scenes of the ex-bf just to be spicy

The extras are great and was enough to satisfy me

This is a great read!

Their children are the cutest. I love this story so much it's interesting in many ways as well as my first novel on human and non human relationship.

But this story have many unsolved mysteries. ML is a dragon, but MC is not. But the story implicitly says MC is also not a human. Anyone reading might have expected the revelation of MC's original type but it didn't happen. But I think MC is a swan, he was not born to humans but adopted child but noone knows that except his parents. And the author too told that the reason will come out itself when time comes, but it's just that it won't happen in the timeline of novel. It would have been nice if it has squeal.

Read this few weeks ago. Pleasant read, fluffy and cute, but that's it. It didn't stand out. Also, little plot and a too smooth sailing succes story so I was somewhat bored towards the end. The best part was I think the respectful, sweet relationship between our cp.

ML is non-typical, he is easy going, sweet and soft and not the super jealous and possessive type we usually see. That is a plus. At the beginning I even thought ML's brother was the ML as the older brother totally fit... more>> the usual picture (cold, rich CEO).

I liked MC, but his character didn't stick with me. A few weeks after finishing the novel I have a hard time remembering him tbh. Yes, he is hard working and kind. And I really loved that he was very average looking at the beginning, yet managed to attract all kinds of bees. But too bad that he magically turned into a swan. The author even put that as 'reassurance' in her author notes in early chapters as if it is an offense to be average looking. After he got pregnant everything went just too easy.

The start was good. I loved that MC had to do realistic acting scenes. Intimate scenes where there was actually real kissing and grobing etc... and MC realized he just had to do it as an 18th tier actor. ML even watched how he performed, without being really jealous later on.

The fantasy part had too much of a western feeling whilst ML and his brother are supposed to be Chinese dragons (?). <<less

dropping near chapter 45....

sudden turn of story of accepting ML identity by MC... even the MC was not surprised enough about his becoming mama dragon fact (laying eggs part), on one hand MC desperately crying on getting dumped and suddenly heads over heels in love (unbearable much sweetness) with ML and getting married...i wanted to read the baby dragons part so dragged till 53 but my patience level over..

I know its a fantasy story but there are many e g beastman forcefully raising a wife... in that scenes... more>> are balanced, plus the baby snakes interaction is so cute....

anyways its my point of view... <<less
