for some reason even tho I knew that this was danmei and that kang chen was the male lead, I always ended up wishing for the MC to end up with his new goddess (the ml's sister) even tho I knew she liked the ml's manager.

it was probably how they pushed and pushed him on his being gay (before he even fell for the ml) and how they played on it as a repetitive joke that left me wanting the plot to prove them wrong letting him be straight. Really it felt like the only person who treated and saw him as a man was the ML (which is one of the few reasons that made me like him despite finding him annoying).

anyway in the end I was more interested in the MC's carrier and his path to become a movie queen. I dropped it when I couldn't take any more of the 'gay misunderstandings' and others treating the MC like a woman and not being able to separate his work persona from his real self. <<less

I enjoyed this novel immensely! It was hilarious, and the relationships between the MC and the ML and even all the side relationships were just to die for.

This novel is set in the entertainment circle with face slapping, revenge plots and cute romance. I highly recommend this novel for you~

Extra is really a sweet ending to this story. As I reflexively sighed, I was happy it was over, but I was sad to part with this story.

Two of the author's stories I've read, and I believe the author has a knack for her own comedy genre 🥹

It was really fun...

This story wasn't perfect, really, they got together quite late, our MC was really very OP, although at the beginning I felt a little 'tired' of the characters, but when they finally got together, I can promise that this story... more>> was really refreshing 🥹🥹

Sweet!!! A very nice 'slap in the face' kind of story...

I liked Chengzhi, but I liked Kang Chen, our ML, the definition of an ML who falls in love at first sight. I love the dynamics of their relationship when they get together.

The refreshing face slaps, the fun side characters, even the OP Chengzhi is also charming...

One of the sugar stories in the showbiz genre...

the MC is straight and he likes girls, but from what I'm seeing, everyone around him They see him as a girl, and that makes girls obviously see him as a sister and men are attracted to his beauty...

Therefore, even if he flirts with a girl, she only thinks that he is joking, and they always mention to him, do not force yourself, As if the fact that he likes girls is something forced, he gets so desperate that they even always ask if he has a boyfriend something that he cries saying, "if I'm a man, wouldn't it be more reasonable to ask if I have a girlfriend?".... If you get to see up to chapter 40+ and you didn't feel the same as me, then you will most probably like it.

Now, I like how the MC is quiet, but funny and cute sometimes, apart from how good he is at acting, even though it seems strange to me that they see him acting well as something normal xD, it is supposed that he just made his debut, but no one mentions it... I like the premise of a male actor cross-dressing and succeeding in his career. What I did not like was the initial impression I had of both the MC and the ML.

The MC before he got together with the ML was straight up a picture image of the straight male syndrome/cancer. That along with his explosive personality comparable to a firecracker had me seriously doubting how many people wrote this story. It's like two people with different ideas on what the MC is supposed to be like wrote this. First,... more>> there is the MC who is supposed to be gentlemanly and have high EQ. Then there is the MC who explodes, flipping his sh*t everytime his male ego is scratched and chokes off conversations in the most oblivious and blunt fashion ever, his narcissism aiding in his obliviousness.

The ML irked me in the fact that he refused to take no as an answer. He basically coerced and manipulated the MC into the relationship.

Only after the two got together did my impression of the main CP improve. The MC got less sexist/homophobic and explosive and the ML was more doting and supportive. Well, by the time they got together the ML did not need to do any coercing anymore since the other party was willing.

As someone who has dropped a novel before because the MC was an entitled firecracker, I am glad I stuck to finish reading this novel as the later part was more enjoyable for me. I would have missed out on some humorous parts that had me laugh inwardly otherwise.

All in all, my rating would be 3.7/5, I guess. <<less

MC is super funny, talented (his an accomplished actor before so it's normal) and really beautiful... not the vengeful type of MC but one that can stand on his own... The only thing I dislike about MC is his adoration towards his 'goddess' in his previous life (which he thankfully got over after several chapters)

The ML is the typical rich, famous type of ML, but is secretly a huge vinegar and is easily affected by things concerning MC... I even didn't like the ML till I read that he... more>> just knows how to feign calmness on the surface...

The main CP was fine.. though romance felt a bit draggy (for me).... Especially when compared to the other side CPs, before realizing that the side CPs love life were slow or even slower than theirs... Bed scenes were-... em...

In conclusion: I like the novel and had read the entire thing continuously... The novel was so good that I didn't even mind about the existence of the side CPs, which really turns me off in other novels... The most important part is BOTH of them have JADE BODIES and didn't have any relationship or bed partners before!!! No love rivals and angsty moments as well... the antagonist didn't last too long as well, coming out was even easier... <<less

Just the MC is a bit annoying when he don't want to relize that he become gay. But that's a normal reaction. The comedy is good and the romance is sweet. I usually like transmigration novels, and MC turning into a man more beautiful than any woman when he used to be super handsome was just downright hilarious. I loved it when he finally gave in and just ran straight down the path of cross-dressing.

The four side couples were cute too.

I also liked how good the ML was to the MC. He was so patient and supportive through everything.

And damn, I get that the MC's original body's dad and MC's agent figured out that he was a different person because of how much they would've had to have interacted with MC before, but ML noticing that and his reaction was just too damn sweet.
