After transmigrating into a novel, Little Hamster suddenly becomes a tyrant villain.

The only way he can escape is by faking his death once the male protagonist usurps the throne.

Judging from the plot, the male protagonist has already developed a rebellious heart. The Emperor Hamster is delighted and decides to accelerate matters by simply appointing the male protagonist as Regent.

The male protagonist is given all the political affairs to handle, while the Emperor focuses on being a salted fish. When the Regent seizes the throne, the Emperor will finally be free!

However, the Regent seems to have eaten the wrong medicine. He unexpectedly remains loyal and dedicated, with his faithfulness increasing over time.

Emperor: Something’s not right with the script.

It isn’t until the promised rebellion strikes that the Emperor understands his true feelings.

The Regent walks in holding a sword stained with blood, his gaze cold and fierce. In front of the Emperor, he suddenly drops his sword, kneels down and pays his respects with great loyalty and enthusiasm, “The rebels have all been executed! As long as this minister lives, Your Majesty will always be safe and sound!”

The Emperor anxiously hints, “Beloved Minister, you’ve been the Regent for so long, don’t you want to switch positions?”

The Regent’s gaze is piercing, and his voice is restrained and suppressed, “I am loyal to Your Majesty day and night. If Your Majesty insists, then I would like to sleep on the dragon bed.”

The Emperor is overjoyed to hear this. “Then sleep! Come sleep tonight!”

After spending the night on the dragon bed, the Regent will finally become the Emperor the next day.

The next day, however, the Emperor holds his sore buttocks and laments with regret, “That’s not what I meant!”

The Regent holds him in his arms and replies hoarsely, “It’s too late, Your Majesty.”

Cute and light read. I like how MC grew from a fearful hamster to a powerful and self confident emperor. The ML was a really solid and standup guy, although he did tend to be a worrier but that made him more likable.

I had high expectations of this novel and fortunately, it did not disappoint. I was mesmerized by the mysteries gradually being untangled particularly about the twists and turns of the original emperor's childhood. However, what irked me the most isn't the story itself but the lack of proper editing of the translation. There are lot of incorrect pronouns while I was reading the story. Li Jinyu and Huo Caiyu was sometimes referred to as she. The same thing runs similar with Hou Caijin who was sometimes referred to as he... more>> and to General Ming as she. This totally ruined the reading experience for me. When I first encountered this, I chose to ignore it and went on to the remaining chapters. But sadly, these mistakes were still present on several chapters and it disappointed me greatly. There were also mispelled words I encountered as I read on like blos instead of blow and vrown instead of crown. The mispelled words, I understand that that may be the result of typographical errors. However, as for the incorrect pronouns, those shouldn't be easily overlooked since both the protagonists are clearly males.

In any case, I really love the story. The LJY and HCY didn't fall in love in an instant. Their feelings towards each other were gradually being realized, with the latter falling in love first. I also love Dumpling and Chonky. They also provided comedic add-ons to the story although to be honest, I was averse at Chonky before since he scared the MC before. Thankfully, he isn't an evil-to-the-core cat demon as I initially thought him to be.

For now, I rate the story itself at 3.5 and the translation at 2.5 (since it wasn't edited as evident with the errors I encountered while I was reading it). <<less

Really cute novel. I’m going back between a 4 and a 5 star because this wasn’t can’t-get-outta-my-head but it was really solid and I don’t have any complaints. Cute concept, good humor, female characters (yay!), and steady plot.

It's a cute, light-hearted story. A bit cliché but interesting. It really explores a lot of the politics and explains it well. +Fluffy, sweet romance. Pretty fast paced. There's lots of funny moments and some unexpected twists. I like how everything made sense in the end. Overall a solid 4.4 for me 👍

I liked. I came looking for a naive cute silly little bun, but our hamster MC just doesn't know the world very well yet. He actually grows and learn to bear responsibilities. I was pleasantly surprised.

I enjoyed the majority of it, and the shape-shifting aspect was blended pretty well in the story.

This is a pretty light fun read, with slight shades of (what it seemed to me) bestiality lol

I got frustrated mid way though because of how the romance dragged a bit due to MC's naivety. Like, I get it, but also it was a bit painful to read. Other than that, a pretty ok story. It's not that deep or something to be taken seriously.
