Because I can’t live without you even one day.

Seeking wealth and fame, Rufus, the oldest son of the barony Inferna, proposes to Princess Sordid of Hevnia, rumored to be the most beautiful woman in the country. Insulted, the king sends Rufus to the battlefield to die.

First of all, thank you very much for picking up this novel.

I'm telling you this novel is a master piece, I read the novel and I literally wanted to get this picked up. Please give this novel a chance, it would be worth it!

tbh I really love this novel till now tho I am only in chapter 2. In The description it is written that "I want to die one day before you Because I can’t live without you even one day." This summary actually has a key point of the ending because this story is about survival, The ML's survival in the war and the FL's survival as a saint in the royal palace as the maid. Sarubia[FL] dies while protecting the ML's grandmother from the king and is eventually killed by the king.

I was shocked when I read this spoiler but who knows that Sarubia can be revived as she is a saint or The demon king may bring her back to life as he asked the ML if he had any wish but It will only be possible if He gets his head back on.

Anyways I hope that y'all won't drop this story because of the spoiler because there are so many possibilities of what can happen and what cannot.

The translations are pretty nice as well and I hope that you won't drop it ^ ^ <<less

They look so sweeet. Love the MC so far. Mysterious cheerful maid with out of the box action towards the male lead. Poor him, LOL. Please please keep translating, and thank you for your hard work. Definitely will support you.

What a weird mix of very well placed interactions and characterizations, with abysmally cartoonish villains.

This story is pure fluff, with dramatic undertones and witty banter in between, albeit it's very, very flawed, the characterizations and chemistry between the ML and FL manages to prop up the story.

The pacing is... well, it's fast, then it slows down a bit, then it speeds up immensely, then it freezes, very inconsistent, but... nothing really matters except for the romance which is what you should be focusing on... everyone but the "bad guys" are... more>> charming and interesting to read.

I was amazed by the world building, it's fairly easy to understand and it doesn't really feel like an exposition dump, it grows organically as the story progresses and it's quite well done, magic, demons, everything that exists haves a purpose and there is set up and pay off for everything that keeps happening.

If you're familiar with this kinds of stories, nothing new, nothing really to write home about, it's the same story you've read a million times... but this author, I don't know what's with Korean authors but I've noticed that every work I've read from them follow very good storytelling structure.

Pair that with a good chunk of cotton candy and a hand full of coffee beans and you got a great recipe of bittersweet that just hits the right spot between drama and romance.

It's a shame that the villains are just there to instill conflict and are incredibly unrelatable, they could have placed a scarecrow that says "evil person" and it would have the same effect, they are so unrealistically cartoonish that you can't really take them seriously.

But all things considered, they serve their purpose, and the story isn't really about them, it's about overcoming everything not for love, not thanks to love, but because of love, which is an interesting take. <<less

Ok so I dont know why I even decided to check out this novel when I thought at first glance that its a shojo novel. But I checked it out, saw the description and tags and said "intresting" and then spent the next hour and a half reading it. Mind you I found it at 3 in the morning. Its now 5. So whats the point of this long as into. Its just a long af way for me to say its good.

This novel feels like it isnt a full... more>> on novel, but it isnt a oneshot. Its a nice romance, the characters are great. Especially the MC and fl. Quality characters ngl. I like the twist that happens too. I will say other than the 2 leads, the other characters are prety dam one dimensional. That said still works. My only complaint is that there isnt more.

In conclusion read it. That is to say if you like romance read it. Its a short read so even if you dont like a part of it you didnt waste a lot of time on it. Though I doubt many would disslike it. <<less

Sheesh, where to start. I like most others just assumed that this would be one of those novels that like most shojo stories, you know how it goes-

"Girl meets guy, guy falls in love at first site for some reason or another, through some almost impossible odds they end up falling in love with minor details in between."

-yet this one isn't that, I love the way it was translated and narrated with the banter coming out on point. The character design and storyline are amazing as well with the characters... more>> sounding like actual human beings.

Overall, highly worth a read. <<less

There's still 4 volumes to be updated, so don't give up on this beautiful story thinking it as a short tragedy.

As very story has flaws, despite good FL and ml, the villains are brainless Cannon Fodders. Though there are some interesting characters, you can't expect much from villains. It's predictable.

You can try this, it might be your cup of tea as well? <<less

There aren't many chapters so far but I still would like to write a review sooo...

First of all, the main characters are adorable, what drew my attention the most is Sarubia, she's not like very other FL that waits an eternity to the ML takes actions, and the way she approaches him is kinda unrealistic but cute ... more>>

like who would ask a kiss to a stranger (but that's not the worst part since I think she already knew who Rufus were before their first meeting). But the ML accepted and kissed her???? Boi I could never

What I didn't like about is how the author justifies they falling in love at first sight with the excuse that the characters felt they were "meant to be". After their first encounter three years ago they make out and act like all lovey-dovey??? I don't like slow burn romance but that's just too fast.

If you want to see a intelligent antagonist you're in the wrong place. Because the king and princess are royalty I thought they'd have at least a neuron still working, but it looks like all their brain cells burned from s*upidity and now they are nothing but dolls with wild instincts, acting as pleased.

I am at that part where the princess calls Rufus to the Palace and she has no manners at all, I'm not talking about how she mistreats him, but the way she acts is s*upid and not fit to a princess whose had etiquette classes since childhood

But the story is not bad at all, it's an young adult novel good to read when you have nothing more to do or just want to pass time.

Man I love this novel soooo much. The author is so good at bringing strong emotion. Never expect that ending. Oh dear God I don't expect anything when I first read it and my first impression is FL is a happy-go-lucky person but near the end of the chapters, everything just turns upside down... Anyway, not going to spoil anything just some warning that there is STRONG EMOTION coming like waves so get ready and buckle up. I pat everyone who done reading it. Love It! The story is beautiful and somehow realistic. I love it. The relationship between the ML and the FL is so sweet and adorable and so not toxic. I might need an insulin injection. The fluff is too much!

Also, I'm sad. Sarubia! Poor Rufus! Waaaaahh! I hope someone turns back time, or the both of them meet again in the next life. This is just so sad. I get why she had to sacrifice herself, but you promised you'd be there when Rufus died. Why'd you have to die now!? Also, I hope the whole royal family dies. Not just the king, even the princess. However, if one of her siblings ain't tr*sh, then that is good as well.

Anyways, I really like this story and hope the translator starts giving the chapters. I'm dying to know what will happen to all of the characters. I hope everything goes well.

Overall, if you couldn't already tell, this story is great, beautiful, awesome, gold, etc. It's everything good. So I hope the translator translates quick. I'm sorry but you haven't updated for 9 months, nearly a year. I hope you're doing well. If you aren't able to translate anymore due to stuff, I hope someone takes up the mantle of translating.

Definitely made me cry!

A pleasant short read.

I love the way it was translated and narrated. The character design and storyline are amazing as well. One thing I like is there are no 'fillers' in the middle of the story. The flow is smooth, although quite predictable.

But for some reason, I didn't expect the ending. So it made me tear up so much.

The FL dies end of chap 2 and throughout chap1 and chap2 you have FL insisting that death can't

be avoided and considering how new authors love to not follow conventional endings, if u read it without coming here u may really think its a tragedy ending (untranslated parts left so I am waiting that it isn't)

A really good novel with some fleshed out emotions. So for the bad points :-

    • Pig brained villains for no reason
    • Extremely predictable plot
