I read this novel up to close to 100, but I got bored eventually cause of the FL misunderstanding the ML so much. Not only that, their romance feel very artificial. I don’t know why the author didn’t just immediately progress the relationship considering how fast the two leads fell in love with each other. It feels very hypocritical. Either way, I got bored cause the misunderstanding was dragged on for a long time. I even skipped a few chapters to get to the cute fluffy parts, but the misunderstanding... more>> was still there. It feels like I’m watching a K-drama where the confession scene only happens at the final episode and we only get one sweet innocent kiss. <<less

After 6 years of ens*avement, one day FL take home the ML as collateral.2 day didn't pass and they had their heart flatter. Shouldn't ML be on guard?Also FL in a new world suddenly fall for someone, doesn't make sense. It's only 10 days she came.

All in all, their starting doesn't make sense.🙂

Spending 3 years in melancholy!! Girl you are a transmitted one, not residential. Though she has supernatural power, it's not enough for daily life. We already saw examples in that.

ML is OP as usual 😴

I got really mad when FL want to be friend with ml. You spend night with him, got blushed, got heart flatter, missed him kept melancholy mood for 3 years--just to be his friend? Lol

Their misunderstanding is sometimes irritating. As their portrayed feelings, shouldn't they have more understanding??

The translations are good, but the story got tiring for me.

The FL definitely has some trauma that explains her various self-destructive decisions. I can forgive wilful s*upidity when there is a plausible emotional cause, since unfortunately human brains tend to be Like That. But the FL has people that she cares enough about to actively protect, besides the ML. Yet her inner monologue is constantly referring to the ML as the only person who makes her care about anything.

The ML seems to have very little personality, even when seeing from... more>> his point of view. It's disappointing to have his character reduced to a 1D Hot Guy That Does Everything For The FL, when there is so much about his background that could make his evolution interesting.

In general, it feels like the author is manufacturing breakdowns and events for narrative convenience, instead of character progression. It's like the main character of the novel is the Romantic Angst, rather than any of the actual characters.

Again, kudos to a great translation team, but the story isn't interesting enough for me to continue reading. <<less

This could be my favorite kind of garbage if it didn't have so much angst on top angst in the middle of it. Her denying her own emotions was really dragging. She made everything way harder than it was supposed to be. Well, I still enjoyed it because I'm a junky for worry-ward MLs. This one is could be the king of them.

-The week they spend together doesn't make much sense, they connected super quick, it feels unnatural. I converted that to 1 month in my head.
-After the 3 years of separation FL moved to ML's mansion alright but even after they lived together clearly for months, the author keeps mentioning their first meeting as 3 years before... Feels a bit off.

Had potential, under-performed greatly but still very much enjoyable.

Edit: Side stories are the most unsatisfying ones I've read in a novel. Just wow. Like can we get a wedding or pregnancy arc or something instead of the long and boring territory work...... I nearly wanna change my score. <<less

The story is really interesting and the translations are pretty good. Though there are parts I'm a little confused at. Not sure if it's due to the translations or the story itself.

Cersenia is cool and bad-ass. It's amazing how she threatened the people at the casino to give her her money. But I guess she'll never get it since she'll probably decide to keep Ben.

She doesn't have much age gap with Ben but because of malnutrition and abuse, he's small for his age. So, I'm pretty excited to see how he'll grow and how their relationship would develop. ^^ <<less

I'm hooked with this and wanna read more! I'm very much obsessed with the novels done by the translator but for real this novel is very interesting with a strong Female Lead and obsessive ML!

I liked this one more than I thought I would - it's a fairly standard story, but well-written and the translation is exceptional. I can understand the criticism of other reviewers, especially about Cersina's hesitation with accepting her feelings, but that's one of the things that makes the story more realistic for me. The angst between the two leads was fairly low-key, and they communicated more rapidly than many rom leads. I enjoyed the friendships with the other characters immensely, especially May. Cersina and her girls are such great friendship... more>> goals! <<less

The story is interesting and every chapter just keeps me from wanting to read more. The translation is very good and is not confusing at all.

The love the female lead, she's powerful but like to keep low profile. The male lead is so adorable, and since his thoughts and feelings are portrayed very well, it really helps in understanding his povs. I love to see the development between this two more.

I think this story is really well written and well translated one. Just a cliche villainess transmigration story, but it was well written that I could feel the emotions of the FL really well.

I mean the part when the ML goes missing, it was really heart quenching for me too as a reader. I can't help but hate him at first but well it will be explained what happen later

Well, its true I can't really say this FL is a part of my fav FL collection bc in the middle chapters, it was a bit frustrating for me too, when she keeps on denying her feelings for the ML. But I'm glad this was not dragged for too long before she finally admitted her feelings. I love that she's a strong FL, the one that is truly a match made in heaven for the ML as she's the only one who can understand him. And I absolutely love the ML. Adorable. And he keeps on thinking of her first, instead of himself.

In conclusion, I enjoy reading this novel overall, so I guess I'd still recommend this.

Bonus point is that this one is completely translated :) Thank you so much for the author and translation team~ <<less
