He came from a prestigious background of the righteous path, an immortal lord of noble and benevolent character and was highly revered by the masses.
He took me to his monastery when I was young and allowed me to live in his residence standing at the mountain top. In other people’s eyes, the me who wasn’t able to cultivate was tr*sh.
I didn’t mind being called tr*sh as long as his Immortal Lord loved me.
But not only did he not love me, he even wanted to gouge out half of my soul to nourish his little lover.
His Immortal Lord’s arch-enemy was a little highness in the demon realm, known for being a scoundrel in all three realms. He was treacherous and ruthless in nature, and whenever interest struck him, he would take up his sword and go to the spiritual pool to massacre evil ghosts.
But when I was in a tight spot, the fiendish little prince in everyone’s eyes would exasperatedly bully me while helping me wipe my tears.

ML repriminded MC not to seduce him as there is something can only be done after wedding. Yet, on the same night he said that ML broke the costume
This was a really short story, so I expected it to not have a lot of detail. Despite that, it was genuinely such an interesting and enjoyable sort story to read. I think the length even adds to the cuteness.
The narration is completely first person and entirely biased to the narrator. It also seems like more of an accounting of events than a story the narrator is living through. I quite liked that, though, because it gave a type of innocence to the narrator that fit him. I also don't think he was named, which also made the story interesting.
I also though that the Immortal Lord's attitude throughout the novel was well written. It didn't necessarily give off that he was using him for his previous lover and that gave it a bit of an O. Henry ending. But it was obvious from the cold Immortal's behavior throughout the story that the MC had some type of importance to him, which I though accurately represented that there was more to it than just that he liked him or something. Thats just my opinion though.
It wasn't really thought provoking or deep, but it was wholesome and very good if you're just doing some casual reading. I totally recommend!
