Let me just say that this has been such a pleasure to read. The story is very heartwarming and I am getting cavities by all the fluffs included.

And here's the thing, in this story, stereotypes are reversed. So you have delicate-ish seme and strong ukes.

I love how story really develops the relationship of the two and how nothing felt forced and the amount of drama is just right. It's a story of two souls finding love after much suffering from their past.

I just regret how this is such a short read, it barely lasted a night for me, but now I feel good and will sleep in a good mood.

Super sweet fluffy story.

Its a long road to self confidence of ML, this is what MC does here.

It doesnt focus on child care but more on the world of social class system.

If you are familiar with A/B/O this has some similarity into it but more on the physicality and capability to reproduce cause all in this world are males.

Its really sweet though, border lining to diabetes. Easy read without any drama or conflicts just Slice of Life in a fantasy world.

Lovely novel, the MC and ML are both adorable imo. The ML has a pretty tragic background but the MC really does his best to make him feel loved, encourage his self-confidence, and treats him as an equal. The story was a good mix of a bit of angst and a lot of fluff. The nsfw parts were also good, I was really glad that the MC did his best to make sure ML was comfortable and enjoying it because otherwise it wouldn’t have been good for him. I usually don’t like mpreg, well, really any pregnancy in stories disgusts me due to personal reasons, but this was actually very adorable because... They’re zerg so they give birth to eggs. It felt really cute reading about it, makes me think of chickens lol. I also am not very comfortable regarding the zerg society and how it treats gender differences but since it’s mainly focused on the main couple it feels more like it’s actually a foil to show how lovey dovey the MC and ML are, so it’s really not that deep and didn’t really bother me in the long run.

Super satisfied with the novel, I will probably be reading it again soon because it’s so cute and a great read. <<less

Such a warm story 😌. First time reading seme protagonist novel and loved it.

I suggested to myself to be like HX when I would like to parent a child, cause I'm toxic and morbid af due to trauma response. HY bursts got me crying my emotions out, like how nice would it be to be loved like that.

I gotta admit that even though the background society looks kinda unfair I loved the twist on the body types and how the author worked around it. Don't expect dog drama, just do food since the couple it's super cute. And the best part is not annoying crabs cutting the spicy times!

Incredibly adorable with surprisingly good communication. It’s so fluffy and so good. It’s not the empty, mindless, illogical kind of fluff either but the kind that warns your soul. Highly rec if you want something fluffy to read!

Very good story balance. The characters are well fleshed out, there’s actual progression, a little angst but enough fluff. The translation is well done, although I can’t compare to the original (if I could I’d translate myself lol), what I read makes sense. For all I know the original language is English. I really look forward to continuing to read this story and thank the translator & writer for their hard work

I came into this novel expecting a lot of smut and no substance, but that wasn't the case. There was smut, but it was mild, intermingled with love, communication, acceptance, and growth, so it was worthwhile. It was so sweet that I got a toothache😫. The ML and the MC are perfect for each other. It was beautiful to watch your relationship grow and flourish into something beautiful.

This story is a transmigration story that is mostly slice of life. There are conflicts with others but they're more like ant hills to get the story moving. There aren't really any followups like revenge or face slapping. So if you're looking for action, it's best to look elsewhere.

MC, Huan Xiu, dies and is transmigrated from the apocalyptic human world into the world of Zergs. The Zerg has three genders but they are basically all male in human terms.

MC transmigrates into a male (the rarest gender) Zerg who committed su*cide.... more>> He is saved by ML, Xi Ran, a "female" Zerg.

Through coincidence MC saves ML's child from bullying and later is matched with ML for marriage. They marry and the story progresses with the development of trust and love.

I've been postponing reading this coz am not sure if the story would be good and gaaahhb its definitely best..I should have read it way earlier and didn't doubt hahah love the translation

This is my first "Zerg" read. I’m just here to make a mental record lol. It’s a very cute story of a devotee lover who helps his new "wife" and step son recover from past trauma just by being good to them. Fluffy and Smexy. No plot needed but not boring either. The extras are also fun and interesting.

I mostly skimmed the story after the first 3 chapters. I liked the concept, but didn't really like the plot or prejudices of the story. Even though the physical characteristics were switched between the genders (male are weaker and intellectual while female were strong), the attitude of the genders were still disappointingly stereotypical. Why is a strong, kind "female" so subservient and uncertain? Why is the weak "male" kind and wonderful just because they're willing to treat the "female" well (not even treating like an equal). I don't mind gender... more>> stereotypes, sometimes, they're all that the romance novel has going for it. However, sticking so rigorously to gender stereotypes in a novel that is perfectly designed to disrupt the stereotypes is doubly disappointing. And the characters had no real development regarding this either - they just really dug into their pre-defined roles.

I think I’ve read this story three or four times now. It’s just so adorably sweet. The MC is just naturally so loving and caring. The ML is just the cutest with his insecurities and kindness. I just love reading about their little love story.

There’s no angst or drama really. It’s just about the MC who died in an apocalypse and found himself in an alien world of all men, which is fine with him because he’s gay. He meets the strong warrior ML who just happens to be exactly... more>> his type. They get married and start living a sweet little domestic life with the MC’s child from a previous marriage. There’s a nice dose of smut throughout, all very sweet and very steamy. It just makes me feel all happy a smiley.

I think the only issue some people might have is the strict gender class systems. The ‘female’ Zerg aren’t treated as well as the ‘male’ Zerg and tend to be looked down upon due to their strong physiques. This of course makes no difference to the MC and he just loves his big ‘female’ Zerg and pampers him with love and respect.

If you are looking for a sweet, shorter length story, with cute domestic fluff and some steamy scenes, look no further. It’s definitely worth the read.. <<less

I stopped reading.

This novel is full of sweet fluff and s*x, yeah, if you look at it superficially. I just couldn't fall for any of the characters or feel connected to the story because too much of the setting didn't make sense.

The MC is transmigrated into a male zerg body. In this world, male zerg are considered precious and rare and treated like celebrities, just walking down a hallway would turn heads... so how does his whole life being bullied by his cousins until he's gloomy and... more>> sad make sense?

The love between MC and ML just comes out from nowhere. His cousin in an attempt to prank him has MC matched up to the ML via their gene computer system and MC just decides to go along with it and even decides to make ML his female monarch after a week and promise monogamy for life... like what??

But, what makes me take off so many stars is probably the whole set up of male and female and inferior female. Females are automatically submissive to males. It seems like ML is just going along with MC because he's female and of course submissive, and also MC is the first male to be not abusive. That's not love.

I'm also kind of grossed out by the s*x scenes. Female zerg never experience pleasure or are aware they can become aroused without going into estrus and it's their duty to actively pleasure the males and keep them interested? The whole set up is not sexy. And it's written like MC is the first one to ever try giving pleasure to the female zergs and just the idea that all other female zergs might be suffering kind of turns me off

I also agree with another reviewer who says this is not yaoi. I agree, just because female zergs are described to look like earth males doesn't mean they are. In this novel they are called Females and they have reproductive organs and therefore the main couple are a hetero couple and so are all the other couplings in the story. Also, since there's no pictures and I'm seeing the characters through text, if I ignore the one or two lines that mention ML having a pen*s then it feels like a regular het novel. <<less
