I thought I was the heroine, but I wasn’t. I knew it as soon as I saw my cute little sister that I’ve never met before. She’s the heroine. My shiny younger sister was the heroine everyone loved, and I was just an accidental bonus.

The woman will love the man, and the man will also love the woman.

But I’m not my younger sister, so why do I keep getting tangled up with the male lead? Meeting him was the worst. The problem is, I’m starting to fall in love with him. He loves my sister, and the whole story will go the way it was supposed to.

“Let’s stop now. Let’s put everything down and disappear.”

I ran away from the climax where he said he would marry my sister. There’s no need to have extras under a flashy spotlight. So I packed up and ran away…

Real nice, but kind of cliché that the FL always thinks that the ML is in love with another person when he is CLEARLY in love with her. This could all have been solved with some chat, but it's a novel so...

Anyways, the father-daughter relationship is lovely and he respects the boundaries of his daughters. Her sister is AMAZING and smart, I just love her tbh.

Idk man, I feel like everything would be solved if they talked. And the FL just stopped for a while and listened to people talk.

I don't really see this novel going beyond the 100 chapter mark. Hopefully, it'll be a good read.

If you like long, drawn out misunderstandings and poor communication, this is the novel for you. Even if I suspend disbelief and accept that poor communication is moving the plot, it is still an incredibly frustrating read.
FL is treated coldly by everyone except the sister but we're made to believe that that's their way of caring for her. The sister is the only one who knows how the FL feels and how the ML feels, yet still insists on taking bribes from the ML to be his wingman while... more>> not expressing his feelings to the FL at all, adding to her distress and belief that no one loves her. I genuinely do not understand why the sister is so popular among readers, she's knowingly adding to miscommunication, taking joy in being the only one close to her sister thus alienating her further but because she's bubbly, she's seen as likeable? Come on, she's just as complicit in FL's emotional abuse as is the whole household who think this 'treat her like glass and only look from afar' is actually good for an 8 year old.

I really tried to keep reading because of the good reviews but I can't do it anymore, emotional neglect and abuse wrapped up as funny family dynamics is not for me. <<less

Haha I love this story. The misunderstandings in this novel are abundant. I'd bet around 50% of all text is just detailing one misunderstanding after another. All of those moments are believable, though, and are rationalized very well. The multiple perspectives are executed nicely and offset the MC's anxieties with sweet and sugary moments.

The characters are a riot when we see their perspectives. Things would be much simpler if everyone just spoke to each other and told the truth, but then we wouldn't have a novel.

The story itself is Cute and fluffy. BUT!!
The FL/MC is so slow witted that it's quite aggravating at times... okay, I'm using light words here, she's frustrating the whole damn time! 😒 but I get it that she just has really low self-esteem and no self appreciation of her own being. So she expects nothing for herself.
im just reading for the sake of the ML. I just want to see how he develops into an obsessive, love struck dude. That's all.
And the writing itself... more>> is just horrible. I don't know who's to blame, but regardless, it's quite confusing at times when reading. Who's saying what, at what time, such as descriptions for monologues... it's just not clear. So it's Quite frustrating. I understand more from the editors comments then some of the story itself; at times. <<less

Horribly written ML and basically every character in her household. I don't know how her sister and everyone in her family expects FL to just magically know that ML is in love with her when he:

a) has very little interaction with her compares to sister

B) sister gets way nicer gifts and more communication from ML while he was away for war.

C) even the whole society thought ML likes sister

C) dude literally proposed to her WITHOUT even looking at her ONCE, WHILE her sister stood BY HER SIDE. Then he has the audacity to be upset she "rejected his proposal". Bro, she didn't even know she was the intended. If I were her and had known, I would have rejected it too. The set up and execution for that proposal were shite.

The fact that the entire household failed to identify her emotional needs despite being so "involved and caring" toward her makes no sense to me. Seems to me that sister was too busy pleasing her own ego for being the only one close to FL rather than actually supporting her in the areas that she lacked.

This story is full of badly written misunderstandings that seem to never end. They should have just left her alone when she ran away.

I don't understand the reviews siding with sister and ML when they both have never really asked FL what she really wants. They be scheming behind her back and expect her to be grateful. FL has her own flaws but misunderstanding ML is hardly her fault. They set her up to fail. <<less

Honestly the story is nothing special but I really like it regardless, partly because I have a complex with main characters having a TON of misunderstandings with other people, so far the story is great and the translation is also great. The fl's naivety sometimes makes me wanna go inside my screen and slap then shout "Miss, everyone loves you so much so please stop ridiculing yourself!"

The fact that her sister (og fl) is genuinely nice made me cry, they're usually two-faced scheming mfs but fortunately, her sister genuinely loves... more>> her just like everyone else and she's really funny <<less

If you like misunderstanding troupe with a cute male lead, girl boss FL (who has annoying but bearable thoughts), and wingwoman sister, this may be the novel for you! This story is just a big ball of misunderstandings which makes it an aggravating read. Characters/male leads seem to fall in love with MC at first sight for no particular reason and I'm not really a fan of this sort of trope. Also every single interaction the MC and ML have is literally the MC needing to be saved... Like can't we just talk and have normal conversations? How is it that the only time they see each other is when the main character needs saving because she's always falling... more>> out of trees or in trouble every 3 chapters? <<less

With the current description I thought it would be about the usual "i transmigrated into this body, expecting ML fould love og fl, but now he apparently loves me" kind of think where the sister/og FL is this two faced bit*h or something. But its not, and im sooo glad for that.

To be honest I didnt think I would enjoy this, but to my surprise I did! I like how everyone, including the sister/og FL cared for MC, and its just MC who cant see it, or misinterprets what she... more>> sees. Although her inability to see everyones love for her gets sooo repetitive that you kinda get tired of it, and annoyed cuz we want this depressed and self deprecating bb to be happy. But because of how its written, you just cant get to hate her or any of the characters, of course except the antagonists.

I personally love the relationship the MC and the sister. Because in most cases the sister would be this conniving theiving greedy bit*h who just wants to steal everything from the MC. But nah, she's super caring ang loving towards the MC. And in some cases the MC would kinda hate the og FL for hogging all the love n affection, but nah she also loves her sister dearly. Im tired of the og FL being these devils doing everything to get what they want (cuz there are a ton of them), so I appreciate these kinds of novels :). Plus:

Bonus points for hinting that the sister is also a transmigrator, yet still not being "IM OG FL SO ALL OF THESE SHOULD BE MINE!!!" Cuz im also getting tired of that plot, and aint really that great to begin with. And honestly, it my personal theory, but itd be cool if she was a transmigrator who read a similar og novel buuutt with the one where MC is ogFL. Its kinda meta, so I like the idea. Anyways, the ML is also great. He is kinda introduced as this obsessive ML that only has eyes for his beloved, he is, but I ddint expect him to be so f*cking adorable! Despite being 24, after the 12 yr time skip, he still acts like this bashful highschool boy talking to his crush and im loving it. Although him acting this way create misunderstanding between him and MC, which is worsened cuz MCis just oblivious on how others feel towards her. But none the less its cute, and obsessive but not in the stalker-ish or crazy-ish way... At least that wasnt how I saw it.

As for the story I like how it doesnt feel fast paced. Aside from the time skips, it feels like the author isnt really in a hurry to get to the main story. And it isnt a snail paced as well that you feel like everything is dragging. The author explains what we need to know, when we need to know it, only at that certain point in the story. I mean although we already know where the story is headed, the journey towards it is fun and doesnt feel like its the same old same old thing we read. And not only that I really like how and when the author changes perspectives. You can clearly tell who are talking during, before or after this specific scenes, and I like it cuz I get to know the characters more. Ah, and I wanna say thank u to the translators cuz its a really well translated work. So its very easy read and understand the story.

So all in all, this is a great story thats well-translated, so its easy to read and enjoy. Even though the plot seems to be no different from others, it written well enough that you wont get bored or tired of reading it. If I have any problems with it, id say that it would be that the MC might become too OP and that there doesnt seem to be any problems aside from her self hate and misunderstanding

like aside from herself, and provably the emperor and princess, no one seems to be a threat. Not only that she has this healing powers, where who knows where she got it. Their church reveals the blessings of children at birth, and that kinda seems like their powers or destiny. While the blessing for the MC is that she has no predetermined fate, so it might be a way for the author to go ham when writing about the MC later. And I think this is where her random healibg abilities came from? Idk. Annnddd the ML and 2nd ML fell in love with her instantly, which im kinda not on board with that. Like sure, im know she is super pretty, but why did their "hearts of steel" instantly cracked just at the sight of her. Is this her powers as well??? Any how, it probably doesnt matter much how the fell in love cuz thats to be expected.

Lol please ignore the commentary that talks about the FL not recognizing the ML is in love with her even though it's apparently so easy to recognize because it might turn you off of reading the story even though it's just not true. The ML just like the rest of her household treats her as if she's a stranger while treating Rose with open affection. If she thought the ML loved her despite I'd think she's one dense and boring FL in THAT case.
