Please use proper spacing and paragraphs. In the bustling urban center, Yang Feng couldn’t make ends meet washing dishes, so he reluctantly returned to his hometown. However, he never expected that he would discover a gourd on his way back that could grow top-quality crops.
Starting with selling strawberries at a roadside stall, Yang Feng gradually made his way to the pinnacle of success. The fruits and vegetables he grew were all top-notch ingredients, sought after by five-star restaurants.
“I want 500 pounds of tomatoes!” a group of guys in Mercedes-Benz cars shouted, waving wads of cash.
“Why don’t you go steal them yourself!” another person yelled.
“Who the hell stepped on my foot?!”
They all surrounded Yang Feng’s vegetable garden, hoping to get their hands on his produce.
Riding his cargo tricycle, Yang Feng arrived and said, “What are you all doing? Line up and take turns. Today, each person is limited to purchasing only 30 pounds of tomatoes.”

- The MC knows how to forgive and compromise. The MC has gotten into multiple conflicts, all of which take place under very believable circumstances. And it's a fresh development every single time watching the MC forgive others or make compromises. All this is made even better as the MC is no pushover. In fact, the reason he gets into conflicts is because he's often standing up for the people that matter to him or what are rightfully his.
All in all, Gourd Farm is a great read and I cannot recommend it enough. But with that being said, don't expect a masterpiece as this is a slice of life farming novel. I know I am being biased when I rate this a 5 but I am willing to argue that it deserves the rating. Especially since it's hard to find a farming novel that's gonna stay true to the essence, doesn't involve time travel/reincarnation/transmigration, space system, cheesy Mary Sue FMCs, and Yaoi works that try to tempt you to turn gay. <<less
