As we all know, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jihua Hospital, which is affiliated with A Medical University has two deputy chief physicians who do not see eye to eye.

From their freshman year to their doctoral graduation and then to their training and professional title evaluation, Jiang Xu and Sheng Fangyu have been fighting and thwarting each other. It was like a case id, ‘if you don’t kill me, I will kill you’, ‘you get 96 in the exam, I’ll get 97 in the exam’.

In the end, they even fell for the same girl.

But who would have thought that before the two could even get into a fight, the girl took her girlfriend’s hand and actually came out of the closet in front of them? The two straight men, who had been at loggerheads for three months over the girl, had their three worldviews shattered.

The two enemies sat down to drown their sorrows in alcohol and in the confusion, somehow together in bed.

Afterward, Jiang Xiu got up holding his almost broken back. His mind exploded for half a minute, and he resolutely decided to forget about it.

However, three months later, he looked at the urine test report, touched his disappearing abs, and looked at himself in the mirror in disbelief.

“Ugh—”

This is a really good novel. The ML has got the to be the sweetest ML ever. He has always taken responsibility from the very beginning when he found out about the pregnancy. Their love is really precious. The story is interesting and relatable.

It’s an amazing story.

The characters feel real, a fresh story among the many similar ones that are popular here.

I love how they communicate with each other and even the conflicts are quickly resolved in ways that don’t seem strange, but shows the maturity of the characters.

One thing I also noted is how well researched this story seems to be. I mean, I’m no doctor but at least the medical stuff and procedures seem to be realistic explained and so it brings depth to the story.

In sum, it’s a must read!

The romance is fulfilling and wholesome. The medical drama exciting. The characters are great and realistically grow and blossom. They're not perfect. They screw up, misunderstand, jump to conclusions, but work things out like adults through communication. World building is a bit lacking, but this isn't some high fantasy/sci-fi setting and doesn't need a bunch of set up. The nationalism can be annoying though. Be prepared.

Overall: a solid read that will give you warm fuzzies from an adults romance. Not some kid's idea of romance full of dog blood and... more>> angst. <<less

THIS IS SO GOOD! I like the 2 MCs, their characters & personalities, and how different yet seemingly meant to be together they are. I also enjoyed their banter, I can't believe I would like their banter as most of the novels that I read where there is a "enemy to lover trope" I sometimes cringe with how the characters converse and banter. This is also an mpreg and has a unique take for mpreg genre.

I really like the story and again I can't praise enough how I like the... more>> MCs. They really posses the maturity, they act as their age yet you can still see some immaturity in some aspects but that's to be resolved. I like the premise of their relationship and how they started to be a rival, I really find it cute.

If you can't see clearly, yes I'm fangirling with this novel cause it's really WORTH THE READ!!!!! TRY IT AND YOU WOULDN'T BE DISAPPOINTED! <<less

Wow, this is the first bl mpreg that looks so promising. The characters are mature, address realistic issues, and actually communicate. Applause all around, I throughly enjoy their enemies to lovers dynamic, the little spats and comedic episodes they have with each other, and the heart to hearts too. Adorable. Big thanks to the translator as well, there are many medical terms here due to the nature of the backgrounds but nothing too confusing.
