Shao Xuan joins a friend in his expedition to a recently discovered archaeological cave. After he picks up an ordinary looking stone he is teleported to a different world and wakes up in the body of a small orphan child. The world he is in now is still in its stone age with primitive tools made of stone and the ways of the people are savage. Savage isn’t the only thing special about the people though, because they have superhuman strength, jump higher than trees and punch stones. In short, they are able to cultivate their bodies. Despite all this, it is a real struggle to survive because of the scarcity of food. Together with Caesar, his pet wolf, he tries to survive in this cruel world.

This beautiful piece of tribal society build-up to its focus on our protag's progression to becoming a source of inspiration, movement and even as a reliable and strong member amid the survival of the fittest environment is something that is done with meticulous care and comedic tones. It's something if you're one seeking adventure, you will get. If you're all about awesome furry friends and absolute domination of the strength - well my child this is something that dictates only the strong can lead! But the thing is too that... more>> I love about this is that there has yet to be seen a shallow use of beautiful fem fatales to progress the plot and no mindless drones of side characters. Everyone has a purpose, be it friend, rival, enemy - everyone has... character (btm tzzz!). And I love the focus and priority is not centered on conquering female ovaries but it actually prioritises the tribe's survivability (in all circumstances). I'm saying a lot about tribes but Shao Xuan is worth every chapter to see it through. The world he lives in as he comes to term as a child, the absurd reality that his tribe's existence shows, the fact that common sense is something last to think more times than not and that only strength is reliable is something Shao Xuan would not mindlessly rely on. Ahhh he's such a 'wth did I just see' and a 'please just let me do it before you kill yourself' child that just finds himself changing more and more. And he can see the influence and love he has for his tribe and it is something that drives him unconsciously - all in the name of getting OP in his book but his actions pave the way to new life for his tribesmen.

The fighting scenes are epic - man like I can vividly see what is happening in my head and that's also because of the awesome translations brought to us!!! It's a blessing really to actually see people transcribe this in English for us to read.

This world is something to get lost in. Long-time readers have reread this about 4-5 times already (I've personally read it 3 times) but it shows how much we love this and Shao Xuan's next step.

I don't see anything boring about this and even up to the latest chapters I still don't.

I know other translators have picked this up, and there was that black moment in history that someone graced us with a nightmare of a translation, but now there is hope for DOGE (a.k.a Veratales) is picking this up and setting grounds for giving us hope in life - go say hi and thank you to DOGE in the comments when you can ▼・ᴥ・▼. I know there is someone else currently posting chapters as well but they have said that they would like someone picking up the translation.

Anyways yes... read?

I enjoyed this Novel, although the setting isn't as mystical like on another planet like in other novels. It's kinda pleasant.

The main character uses his intelligence, and future knowledge to build traps, weapons, and etc.

The Cultivation although lacking and slow, isn't crazy or idiotic either. It's sorta 'realistic' in a sense, their strengths being reasonable.

The only thing it lacks is good romance.
