Lin Cha enjoyed all good luck in life before the age of sixteen. Her father was rich, her mother was a well-known pianist, her elder brother was a popular star and she was their little princess.

But after her sixteenth birthday, her life changed dramatically.

She choked on water, vomited anything she ate which cost more than ten yuan. There were Alipay malfunctions, the bank card password suddenly showed error as if God of Fortune was hostile to her.

The delicate little princess had to fight to survive.

Until one day, Lin Cha saw the famous school bully studying in her grade. Above his head were three big words in gold “God of fortune”

Lin Cha secretly observed him for a while and determined that this boy was really the God of Fortune hidden in the world. So she brought fruits and flowers to him, and seriously asked, ” Can I touch your aura of fortune?”

Unexpectedly really good!

The synopsis makes it seem like it'll be a light and fluffy school based romance but the supernatural elements are quite strong and the plot has more interesting complications than anticipated.

The relationship between the two leads develops in such a sweet way. My favourite thing about both is that they're 100% honest with one another once they decide to become a team (to spread fortune). Misunderstandings deriving from lack of communication is one of my most hated tropes because the whole time I'll be frustrated that one conversation... more>> could've stopped like 20 chapters of angst. However, in this novel this almost never happens except a little at the end but their reasons for not being as open as usual are justified.

The FL is a gem because although everyone views her as a sheltered and pure little princess, she's actually more pragmatic and clever than everyone imagines. She's kind at heart but she's not an unreasonable or hypocritical saint. She's considered attractive but that's not the quality that first comes to mind when people think of her. Plus, her fan girl worship of the ML at the start of the text is hilariously endearing.

The ML is a pleasant surprise as well. He's introduced as as your stereotypical hot yet misunderstood loner character but gradually he becomes a complex and reliable companion to our FL. He seems indifferent at first but in fact, he's not an aloof male god that's only nice to the FL. He's clever and from a rich family but in no way is he a super genius or spoiled heir. Best of all, he doesn't fall heads over heels with the FL at first sight and then becomes psychotically obsessed with her. He's just a soft-hearted boy who eventually develops a touching and equal relationship with the FL.

Although the two don't officially recognize each other as boyfriend and girlfriend until the very end of the story, the two essentially describe their bond as being that of soulmates and do everything that a couple would normally do so the development of their relationship doesn't feel draggy.

Overall, a lovely read! <<less

All the things I wanted to discuss was already said by Meatshiled. And really Meatshiled review is the reason why I started reading this novel, thank you! Hahahaha unexpectedly this novel is good. And I wanted to add that the FL was vividly decribing how much God loves us. That eventho we are sinners it dont matter as God loves us unconditionally.

Also the biggest misunderstanding in the first part of the novel is hilarious, I love the chemistry between the two leads.

It’s not bad per se. I expected fluff and wanted fluff, so I started reading this due to the summary. At first the book was cute and chacha was definitely a highlight. All the misunderstandings that happened was hilarious. But when you get around the middle section of the book everything switches. There’s barely fluff and a lot of stuff about good and evil. I didn’t even think it was necessary. It threw me off so hard.

i need to scream!! LOL from all the novels I’ve read from the same author this novel was my most favorite!

if you are looking for subtle plot with easygoing yet reasonable FL and a hardheaded yet softhearted ML then this novel is for you. FL lost her luck before her highschool days soar then she met ML who has the Goodluck aura to share to others but he who has it cannot benefit to it (how frustrating right?!) but thanks to our cute and pure FL who helped him... more>> get the right amount of praise he should’ve received every time he helped other people. Also FL is not an annoying soft protagonist she’s great a perfect heroine for this type of plot kudos to the author for that making her character a warm light to others.

read this to sweeten your day!

(anyways whenever the ML didn’t get the recognition he should’ve received I feel lime punching those people for them to realize his worth huhuhuhu I kinda feel the FL) <<less

It was good!

Well, was. They two MC's are very sweet, even their little misunderstanding gave me butterflies— but worry not. There are no misunderstanding due to communication because they tell each other everything! They were very cute too and their chemistry was high. Just two little silly children being sweet.

Then, the moment it came around chapter 62 or something, I guess we csn consider it as the plot twist or the truth— did not just appeal to me that well. It seems like it popped out of nowhere.

MC and ML turns out to be enemies. MC originally the host of god of fortune and that means she has to give the children their wishes or something. Honestly I didn't get that part much. Then ML stole the god of fortune from MC but then turns out that ML was only thought to be an enemy because he defected to the bad side only because he wanted to eliminate MC's enemy by himself so yea, hes not actually an enemy.

But then, latter half became the two of them fighting against the forces and their time together were minimal. Two teenagers who turned out to be some kind of powerful figures who only loat their memories fighting against the bad sides— doesn't sound too bad but well, it is kind of bad. Don't get me wrong. I absolutely loved the first part but after the truth, it just became harder to read. I skimmed thru most of them all.

Tbh, that plot twist suck hahahhaha. I'd much rather prefer it that god of fortune just randomly possessed ML just because. Maybe it would've been more enjoyable to read. But then again, this is the author's work who am I to say anything against it.

Seriously, this is super good. The plot development, arcs, and pacing is on point. It's a very well developed and interesting story touching my favourite theme on previous lives karma as well. I guarantee that you'd never find this novel boring.

The only downsides would be the sloppy worldbuilding and characterization. A fantasy / supernatural novel like this relies greatly on worldbuilding, but the author just made a few sentences of obscure narratives to give hints on (only) the directly mentioned plot elements, no elaborated descriptive explanation at all.

Even her job as a human protector, for example, was never explained clearly. The author only give tiny hints in one or two sentences every few chapters. It took me about 70-ish chapters (out of 100) to understand that someone's actually monitoring her work (she has a boss), 80-ish chapters to know that her halo has more functions than just bringing luck, 90-ish chapter to know that she also has her memories stored in her consciousness.

There are also some major plotholes left unattended by the author.

It was never explained how ML managed to grab MC's halo and how he 'merged' with the Dark Lord while taking on his features. I mean, it's literally written every few paragraph that the villain could only be seen by him as he basically lived in ML's consciousness, except when they're in MC's territory, yet the author never bothered to explain how they ended up in that state even until the last chapter.

It was worth every second of reading, it does not disappoint at all, very cute and adorable everything, it fills you with sweetness not cloying.

At first it was just pure and beautiful friendship, but then it was unwavering and magnificent love.

I recommend it for those who want to read something soft and with good feelings??☺?

Adorable story that will fulfill your need for fluff!

I usually dislike pure and naive female leads, but the author wrote the FL in a way that makes her very likable! How the male lead reacts to her train of train of thought is hilarious!

As for the ML, I just want to wrap him up in a blanket and protect him! He's been through so much, yet isn't the typical cold, brooding jerk that most MLs are. He's kind considering the odds that are stacked against him, and the FL lead... more>> is right in saying that not everyone would be able to handle his deal in life. It's sweet how he's the "god of fortune" for the FL, and the FL is almost his little "angel of fortune" in return. The synopsis makes it seem like it's a one-way exchange, but the two have a very balanced relationship. <<less

okay this was very unexpectingly good, Normally I'm not a big fan of the pure naive MC but this novel pulled it off really well, the main character is smart and pure and losts of people love her, normally this type of MC would bore me but she is just so loveable and shes hilarious I love her and her surroundings and how they change, the ML isnt arrogant or annoying hes not hated by everyone but he does have a pretty bad reputation despite being a good person, he... more>> and the MC are so cute and they make you just want to wrap them in a blanket and serve them hot coco. This novel gave me diabetes because of how sweet it was, I was very sceptical reading the reviews cause sweet fluffy stories like this are usually boring but this one wasn't yes its fluffy and even if that usually doesnt suit you're taste like me just give it a try you might like it, that being said I did stop reading after chapter 54 idk why I just did maybe one day I'll catch up to the latest chapter idk <<less

This starts off as a simple supernatural school comedy. For a large portion of the story you will enjoy an endearing MC and a pragmatic ML. Towards the latter half, as the source of the supernatural mysteries is revealed, you will likely feel angry, confused and possibly betrayed. If you make it to the end you will smile as travesties of the past are explained and our leads go forward into the future happily.

The world building is good. Secondary characters are good. The episodic elements are good.

Fluffy and cute in the beginning. It escalates really fast in the latter half. I thought it was an interesting turn for the end- a bit strange, especially since I MTL'd the last bit. I wish we got to learn more about the side characters/wished they played a bigger role.

I won't vote because any stars off from me would be due to translation (sorry.. Thanks for the work), but at the same time I can't in good conscience recommend the story as it is currently translated. I thought I could because someone made it through Environmental Protection After Rebirth, which is by the same group, but for some reason, I couldn't make it through this story. Quite honestly, it's worse than straight MTLing. The words are correct so you get the idea, but the grammar is off so it... more>> just feels painful and very awkward to read imo.

That said, the premise itself seems interesting. A little princess that is genuinely a good and gifted person who has always lived in light comes to know a boy plagued with misunderstandings and a bad life, who ironically boosts the fortunes of those around him but causes himself harm. I really can't say much about the story because although it seems it could potentially be interesting, I can't tell because of the translations.

In all honesty, I recommend waiting for someone else to start translating it before reading, or until the translations get some major edits. I hope one of those things happen, because I'd like to read this story. <<less

Leacing first a revie so that I can fo back where I left. It was intriguing with the MC girl getting badluck and trying to get sa luck from ML.

ML faced so many hardships huhu good that he met FL who made his life happier. There's some kind of misunderstanding ofcourse (ML though FL liked him hababa) since it's kinda sus with FL trying to be close to MC.

Well it's not irritating unlike other novels. They have their time to get to know each other and sloy fall inlove.

I dropped this at chapter 67, after finding out that the male lead is the guy who inflicted the suffering upon the female lead by stealing her fortune, I was unable to continue reading because I only felt contempt for the ML. Even more so that he's some kind of demon or devil that goes around killing and hurting people. (Or he did before he took over the original Male Lead's body.)

The romance was really sweet, reminiscent of an anime (the name of which I forgot) - the FL is innocent, kind and strangely has both a high and low EQ at the same time. Somehow she is able to empathise and see from everyone else's perspective, but not her own. SO she frequently says sweet things from her heart and I love this kind of character. Up until I learned

The story is nice, plot is refreashing.

But the translation went down the hill after chapter 16. The translator didn’teven bother, he/she/they just copied the machine translation. And they even stopped halfway. So, I'd say don't bother reading.

You should definitely read this. Super cute and the plot, oh my, fluffy but good. It's sweet enough to make you get diabetes but still want more.

At first, it was all fluffy and good. But suddenly the story became ridiculous. The story became supernatural! I mean the premise about aura of fortune is supernatural in itself but recent developments is really on another level.

I understand that such developments explain the existence of the supernatural but the author was bad at transitioning it left me dumbfounded.

Overall, I am enjoying this book. I'm not bothered by MCs naivety. I think it's cute. The only flaw I've found so far is the transition which didn't really affect my reading... more>> experience much. <<less
