Hundreds of years have passed since the threat known as Kihei suddenly emerged and laid waste the world. To combat this threat, humanity established a school of magic, Twilight Academy. Ever since then, the battle between Kihei and humanity has raged on day and night.

On one fateful day, Kaguro Kou, a member of the Department of Magic Research, journeyed to a particular ruin to retrieve a Kihei corpse. Unfortunately, his life ended there…or should’ve, until a Kihei girl saved him―

“Greetings, my love―my name is Shirahime. From here on, I shall be by your side forever.”

Like a knight in a story, like a princess in a fairy tale, the awakened maiden made a vow to Kou. However, he is unaware of the never-ending hell that will soon ensue―

A touching dark fantasy of hope and despair from Keishi Ayasato, author of Torture Princess!

My feeling towards this series is kind of complicated

I like the premise but it kinda lacking, not to mention it only has 3 volumes because of lack of sales

Vol 1 was great, vol 2 is still okay, vol 3 is kinda bad compared to previous volume and one of the reasons of it because the author need to somehow end this. There's doujinshi/after story wrote by author but I doubt someone will even translate this

In conclusion, pretty good and enjoyable but definitely not the best. Especially if we compared it... more>> with Torture Princess by the same author <<less

Post- apocalyptic novel about a boy and a kihei girl, Romance? Probably, read to find out.

The premise is interesting, characters? Ehhh not so much.. I'd say other than one character I'm not particularly interested in any of the others more so the protagonists. They're rather.. 'Cliched' from my point of view, the usual type of characters you'd find in any other novel.

From what I've seen the concept's good, it's interesting, enough that I'm a bit excited for the next chapters to release, whenever that'll be..
I don't speak Japanese or anything though so I can't find the raws much less understand it– nor am I willing to pass that through google translate, so right now, I've only read chapters one and two.

I'll just wait whenever the next chapters release and I'll see how it goes, I'm expecting a bit from this novel, this seems like something I'd get emotionally attached to.
For now 4 stars sounds good.
