I picked this up because of the team translating this story have really good taste in books. And it's not one bit disappointing. Definitely would recommend it if you're looking for a historical yet romantic series. Thank you for all the hard work.

One of those that seems sweet and wonderful on the surface, but really, if you think about it any deeper: the ML is a neck beard. An icky, mysogynistic, neckbeard.

We don't notice because he is suuuuuuuper hot looking, and because he winds up with a girl, and we think their relationship is all perfect and cute, with how well suited they are.

But really, he just happened to find someone who fit his ave/eva, anti-woman, purity fetish complex, (in the form of a literal s*ave who enjoys being a s*ave)... more>> and she doesn't much notice him at all, or return the feelings. She thinks he's hot, in an objective way, but doesn't dwell on it.

Go for the manwha instead, so you have his super hotness and some absolutely gorgeous artwork to distract you and keep you on the enjoyable surface level. <<less

Not being outwardly rude or anything that would get her killed, but just doing the bare minimum required and not going out of her way to help them like she does. This story is very promising, as it addresses a scenario that mixes the plot and the characters well, with plots that humanize the feelings of the characters and that fits well in the elaborated context, the fact of appropriating an idea that is somewhat unusual, but curious at the same time, it denotes in a simple and harmonic way the entire Universe of this work.

With the manhwa adaptation, I was a bit bored by the ML (so-in-love with his fuc*king horse lol) but as the drawings are really beautiful, I kept reading it and step by step, I was caught by the story. I picked this up thanks to the manhwua and absolutely love it. The novel has way more depth then the manhwua and is at times darker. I am greatly saddened that the author has stopped the translation of this work. There is no way for me to support this author since there is no official translation and even if I found the raws I would have to read using google to translate and that is a nightmare. After reading the original story I don’t want to go back to the... more>> manhwua. I hope that one day this will be aloud to finish being translated. Till then if you love this story check out the manhwua it’s not as compelling and complex as the story but it’s a chance to finish the story. <<less

I first found out about this novel through its manhwa version. The art style attracted me. Later on, I found the novel.

Its absolutely a fun read. The ML has a good character background (though not everyone agrees) but he really has well-developed backstory. For now, I have nothing to say about the MC. So far, she's great but I just can't really like her as someone who recalls her past memories because that fact isn't really highlighted in the story but it is relevant. I've been waiting for a novel translation for this ever since I've started reading the webtoon. I'll update my review once there is substantially more chapters.

So far, so good. The translation I've read so far is easy to understand. I found the manhwa version first and really like this series. At first I disliked the MC and hope for stronger character but it seems I was mistaken, she is strong in her own way! I really hope she can get her own happy ending (I don't really care with the ML ?).

I quite like it, although it is mainly because I am up to date with its version in manhwua I think this is better since I like its tone with more mature touches so far

Actually I am a fan of the manhwa before I tried searching for the novel. This is really good but I rated it as 4 because somehow I don't like the male lead. Or I'm just to early to judge it. But it is really good. Thanks for the translation
