I was distressed and always angry with the MC in the early chapter because she was lazy but now she can't sleep if she doesn't do work 😂😂

Once the ML was introduced I kept laughing because he wants to have a wife that will support him.

ML and MC are both lazy but because they were picked by the system they were forced to not be lazy

although the ML doesn't have a system that keeps pushing the situation of ML will push him. Anyway, it is the military wife system. So it means making the MC a wife of interstellar soldier and I think ML is an interstellar soldier.

It's funny how everyone was distressed because the MC is thin 😂😂😂 especially the ML HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If you like simple, chill, slice of life read. There's no conflict here. Like, the story revolves around MC, working hard to upgrade the system. First to improve their family's daily life to later on improve the country's development. The system is definitely OP, which somehow makes the MC OP (through MC working hard to improve though, she's very lazy).

Somehow, I find this funny in the weirdest way possible. Its weird how characters were talking to each other with the same topic, however,... more>> they each have different meanings that somehow ended up to be a beautiful yet funny misunderstands, which would be tge reason that they end up getting along. Its quite embarrassing at the same time, SMH. Alot of beautiful, funny, weird misunderstandings. MC and ML were both lazy ass, but was pushed by circumstances to improve, haha.

The System. Is a Master Manipulator. Seriously, he swindle MC alot. 😂 ML and romance are side dishes, not much screentime, but still there. Plus, its got a nice finish to it, and I kinda like how it played out and ties up everything in the end. Though I have a feeling it will end up like that initially. <<less

The novel is super cute. I love how their love was described and written.

And the developments of the characters, I LOVE IT.

Su Qinghe, the protagonist, went from lazy to become a pillar of the country. Gu Chang'an, the male lead, went from wanting to be a salted fish to be a person who can sacrifice his life for his own country. There's many more characters that I think developed quite well.

... more>> I also like the ending, how it's actually like a time loop/paradox.

Recommending for people who like system, military, and fluff.

Currently reading, and need so much patience to keep reading it and not be frustrasted over MC and her unjust-people-can-go-die-fast mother.

Haaaaah, and MC, people are lazy, yes, alright, whatever. But please dont be lazy over your task because that is the one making you alive.

Let's see if I mnaage to finish this.

Currently MTLing this and it's really entertaining.

The story plot is pretty generic. The MC binds with a system and travels to the 60's. But what makes this novel different is the beautiful misunderstandings. They make for a funny addition to the story.

If there's something I don't like, it would be how lazy the MC can be sometimes.

It’s hard to get through the parts of the mom — she’s a mean old bat. I’ve read A LOT of novels where a family member is just plain evil and I can accept that coz they are the villains of the story, but this mom wasn’t designated as the villain, she’s just biased towards the MC and gives her all the good things. The constant scolding and demeaning of the brothers/SILs/grandchildren is grating and I’m not finding the story readable at this point. 😞

Not quite 4 stars but very close so I've rounded it up. This story is a laid back and chill story of a lazy MC who became a super Mary Sue genius through the help of her system, inadvertently motivating her lazy fiance, the ML, to work hard to better himself too. It's a simple love story at its core, love between the MC and ML, familial love, and love for their country. This is such a good story about wonderful people in the extremely challenging era of the worst famine in human history, the Great Chinese Famine of 1959-1961, wow. There are so many remarkable female characters in it, and whole families, not just the FL and her amazing mom and grandma and mother-in-law. And the opening background is so unique, so heart-wrenching, I adore it.

It is not a work of non--fiction though, it's sci-fi. The dates are sometimes off. For example, it mentions one or two more years of famine in... more>> the future, i.e. It currently being years 1959-60, but then it mentions right away the FL's brother in law reading Mao's Red Book (published five years later, in 1964). It also covers China-Burma border campaign (1960-1961) and Sino-Indian war (1962) where the ML was wounded several times.

The story is very light, positive, warmhearted and full of cute oolongs (unintended circumstances and events, misunderstandings) between the FL, she is 15, about to turn 16, and the ML who is 18 that make them see each other as wonderful people promising each other good life together.

In this novel, a modern 20y.o. Lazy otaku transmigrates into year 1959 and discovers that she is now a 15 years old starving peasant girl from a family so poor, they did not even have a pot to cook their meals in, who has a futuristic system from the interstellar era that offers her to become a soldier's wife for which she needs to

a) learn essential life skills, such as cooking, sewing, cleaning and maintaining a house, and driving vehicles, for which she would be rewarded with food, fabric, vehicles, etc. b) find herself a suitable soldier to marry and marry him. His successes in his military career will become the additional points and perks that the system will award the FL.

The FL's (Su Qinghe's) descendant in interstellar era is the one who created the system and sent it to Su Qinghe which is the reason why she succeeded in creating an advanced technology that later became a interstellar technology.

I actually really liked this novel, I'm not usually a fan of the MC having a system but this time I liked it cause it felt like she still had to work for it (somewhat at least lol). The only thing I didn't like is how they praise their country/ideals so much. Feels like the government paid the author to write this stuff to try brainwashing people. Still really enjoyed it tho

This novel was good and refreshing, especially the twist in the extra chapter. It was totally unexpected and the reason why she become the owner of the system. It was good, because most novel was so-so for having a system.

It maybe called that the MC become OP because of the system but there's a reason for it. It may not be really called OP because the MC really did work for it and the system was only giving boost for her.

The development was good.

Recommended to read it till the end.

It started off quite different than other novels, since it focused on China 1960s, famine era.

MC and ML are both in actuality, a very lazy people but forced to be motivated and diligent due to circumstances. Funny thing is that their misguided motivation is always misunderstood by people as them being a hardworking genius. MC and ML even misunderstood each other, and thought that each other is very diligent.

MC and ML will become naturally more motivated as the story goes on and they will later become recorded in history.

Ater Chapter 35, I got cliffhanged and decide to check out the MTL. The MTL is easy to understand. There's a total of 237 chapters and none of those chapters are boring. Everything is enjoyable and fun to read.

I am ashamed to say that I slept less and study less because I got too engrossed in this. Yeah I neglected my studies for this past days. I'm glad it's over and I can finally concentrate on my up coming exam lol.

The MISUNDERSTANDING between each and everyone of them are hilarious. It made the story really funny and amazing. It made the whole story what it is. At first when I started reading from chapter 1-10, I didn't like it. Because I thought Mother Gao is over reacting and the ~brainwashing lol~ of Mother Gao is annoying. But now I realize how useful it is. Mother Gao is definitely an amazing mother haha. I'm happy that I didn't drop it and persist in reading. At the moment, even if it's finished, I still want more haha.

Aside from her supportive and loving brothers and relatives. I'm also glad that the Gu family are also amazing and kind people, and I'm happy that they're Su Qinghe's in laws.

Btw. The first meeting of Gu Chang'an and Su Qinghe is actually funny lol. I laughed a lot when the POV of Chang'an was showed. But ngl, I imagined him being really scholarly handsome at that time XD

There's one scene which I hate the most. The part where Su Qinghe is trying to be skinny (I understand that she have the mindset and beauty standard of the current era) so she thinks that skinny is much better than being chubby. Which makes every family member, friends and acquaintance worried. I'm glad she eventually realize that she should go by the standards of beautiful and healthy in that old era.

I also love the system. Applause to all its effort.

Gu Chang'an and Su Qinghe too, they are one of the most hardworking novel character I ever read. They got encouragement and inspiration from each other. I realize that they really deserves to meet each other in this life.

Btw if you want to read the MTL, you can since it's easy to understand. Just copy the Chinese Novel Title (重回六零全能军嫂) then search it in Google. It'll direct you to any Chinese novel sites. I used the built in Google translator to automatically translate Chinese characters to English. I just wrote this incase someone don't know where to find MTL. I often find it hard to search for the remaining half of novels I found even tho I saw other reviews said they completed it.

It’s a 3.5

its a slice of life type of novel. There is romance but it’s not the main focus. Loved the interaction between both leads and it’s somewhat funny how the misunderstanding between them led to romance and love. The main focus of the novel is really on becoming an excellent military wife. Loved the loving family of both leads and how there isn’t really a villain in the story. If there was a bit more focus on romance I would have given it a 4.

I LOVED it !!!

I'm a fan of the 60s/70s/80s themed novels on NU, so this novel fitted right my alley. I enjoyed the whole of it, be it the storyline, the laziness of the MC (Su Qinghe) and ML (Gu Chang'an), the in-laws/family members on both sides, the MC/ML's hard work (as the story progressed) and being each other's inspiration without the other's knowledge of their initial true lazy personas, the AI system bound to MC, their kids and the characters encountered throughout the novel.

It was enjoyable enough as a slice of life character development story. MC and ML (through a series of various misunderstandings about each other’s characters) develop into motivated outstanding individuals with great achievements.

It does get a bit long winded sometimes and the suddenly shift for MC into medical route surprised me. I thought MC’s learning and development would be more supplemental to ML but I’m glad the focus was primarily on MC.

There was some nationalist propaganda vibes towards the end but I was totally able to ignore it so not... more>> bad at all.

Overall enjoyable. And quite humorous especially at the beginning. I kept waiting for the backstory on the System thinking there was more to this all (especially with how MC and ML first meg and seemed to recognize each other) but nothing was explained. Author’s note made it clear that it wouldn’t be but that there would be an extra? But no extra provided either. <<less

I had interesting journey with our op female lead. It was lighthearted and simple slice of life novel.

Beautiful misunderstanding and gaslighting was the highlights of this novel. But what should I say, this gave me satisfaction.

Loved extra of the novel and ending was so good and complete, but still I wanted more.

Thank you for the great novel. 5 out of 5 for me.

Well, the beginning was amusing but the novelty wore off for me. I’m not a fan of any kind of misunderstanding, even benign ones like this, because everything doesn't feel authentic. So things like the romance just felt like a waste of time because their impression of each other is nothing true.

The translation I read is from KnoxT up to C73. Then I read until C88 in MTL. The TL was a little bit odd but has lots of footnotes and the TL is passionate. The MtL is still understandable but it took a bit more effort than the translation. <<less

Still at ch. 58 but this was really funny. I really like their monologues and hidden thoughts.

It is quite fresh to read mom with 3 sons and treating his sons, grandsons as tr*sh and daughter as pearl while the ML family of 3 sons, he as the youngest is being treated as pearl.

The level of shamelessness of the MC's mom is second to none.

I laugh so ahrd whenever she express her views, illogical and unreasonable views.

It was a story full of misunderstanding thinking that the other person. Mean well.

The FL strived to learn not like any other with goldfinger, she still needs to work hard and the theres no logic on how they defend her as being lazy ahahhaha eithin the whole community and that rat chasing thing.

She has a military system that gives her task to cook, clean, make clothes.... To transform her from being lazy to a perfect military wife

While the ML was motivated to eat that's why he was performing well <<less
