This story really finny and it’s very good. Lin XiaoCha as her name is really a scheming green tea b. Lol Her antics are really quite top grade. And all her trouble started is because her system is useless. (This is the first time iread transmigrated story with system that are really useless) but the whole book is really entertaining and funny. Our MC seems hearless and materialistic, but actually she have a heart of gold😆 thank you

This novel is so good! The writing is great! And the plot is very exciting. The female lead is quite scummy but I still like her. She's a white lotus and quite a b*tch but I love her! The ending is amazing and so emotional. It made me cry a river. The ending tied everything in the story together. You'll find out that everything in the beginning of the story that you thought was nothing, was actually important for the story. 10/10

Good quality translation by Serena Love. It's an interesting one and I read all 15 available chapters in a row.

She has a legitimate reason for mistaking the ml/target.

Update now that I've finished it. It definitely kept my interest and I appreciate the fast translation speed. I was starting to think she was going to be a hopelessly selfish person after 40 odd chapters but she started showing glimmerings of being a better person around mid 50 chapters. Still very short glimpses until you get to the climax. I was really... more>> touched by the male lead when he wasn't acting beastly. Being possessive is pretty run of the mill with this genre but he was more than that. Don't want to give it away so you'll have to read it.

I'm still only rating it four stars because she could have been better and I think it was an excessive ending about how wealthy she got at the end. Wealth not related to the task but just shows author's preoccupation with money. <<less

It was pretty good

The MC is a green tea who transmigrates into a heroine abuse novel with a cash bounty on seducing the tr*sh male leads. She is a player who plays herself when the system recognizes the wrong person as male lead # 1. Instead of seducing the tr*sh male lead with the biggest bounty, she gets an all-powerful (yandere) cultivation master instead.

The main characters personality and motivations are very interesting. Her backstory isnt particularly tragic, but you really get a sense of exactly why she is the way... more>> she is.

No one died and she wasnt a tragic abused orphan. She just grew up in lower-middle-class poverty with a strict overworked single mom who she doesnt blame for their circumstances. She just learned the wrong lesson watching her mom struggle alone (if no matter how much you work you loose, goldigging is a viable career)

It's 4.5 stars for me.

It's an enjoyable read. I was actually expecting more when the crisis happened so I feel kinda unsatisfied with some parts. But I understand it's not a drama/war kind of novel so nevermind. It's still a good story overall.

I have a problem with the extra chapter. The alternate world is still fine, but not the other one. It ruined the good feeling I had after finished the main story. If I knew it, I would tell myself to skip chapter 76.

HAPPY ENDING WITH EXTRA CHAPTERS

What can I say? I honestly liked it. Though, at the end I was on the verge of dropping it because of the dogblood romance between the real ML and MC. To be completely honest, I'm not the biggest fan of stories with lots of bed warming. However, I have been looking for a reverse harem with this kind is plot. I usually read wholesome and non-harem stories. This was very outside my usual reads but I still liked it. I enjoyed it enough so I gave 4/5 stars. I can raise it to 4.3-4.5 but I can't give this a solid 5.

So much dogblood, this story. But I'll recommend it for some people if they are interested in manipulative protagonists. Btw, the title is very related to the story. And you should know what to expect

MC in this story really reminded of "Seeking Good Temptation" where she had to increase favorability of several targets at once so she could go back to her own world. It's quite funny at the start to read how she became a green tea to seduce her targets and accidentally met a stumbling block aka ML on her mission. But the longer I read, the longer I couldn't bring myself to like MC.

I didn't like how she repeatedly hurted ML's feeling after she knew that he wasn't her target. I also didn't like how her targets still protected her with their own lifes even though she didn't really love them. I also didn't like how annoying she became after she came back to her world.

Anyhow, although I didn't like MC much, I'm still willing to give this story 4 stars for its unique storyline and characters. Still, I regretted reading the extra and wished I could just skip it. <<less

What a journey! I really enjoyed the twists and surprises in this story.

For example, I was in awe because male lead has 0% affection to Xiaocha in the beginining. What a tricky target to capture. But when later it turned out MC got the wrong person, it all makes so much sense that I laughed out loud hahaha. As the plot enfoldes, I found myself seeing ML less as a potential capture target, but more as MC's truly significant other. I have fun reading the side stories too.

P.S: kinda sad for OG Lin Wu's parents because she seemed to choose not to come back when MC left her body. It's not mentioned much except during MC's wedding when the couple attended as MC's foster parents, iirc

Okay so that was pretty good and the green tea act was well writte ! I love how it picks up and how it goes down. Though the smut part were a surprise to me... I honestly did not expect that. A bit of an unwelcome surprise since it kind of really does not fit with the settings. Disregarding the smut, it was okay.

The extras were kinda eh... one, the smut and two, the 2nd extra showed MC's unpleasant side. Almost always wanting to be right and wanting everything to... more>> go her way and not really respecting ML. Other than that it was a nice read <<less

My issue with this novel (at least in the beginning), and it's not a critique against it, is that MC is too good at being a Green Tea who plays the field like an expert. I can't root for her...
