I'll be honest - this one suffers from telling and not showing - it could have been a much better story if it was 5 chapters instead of 2. I enjoyed it, and it showed a good yandere x yandere relationship, but it's just not all that great. There's not enough background and it's mostly info dump.

Tbh the introduction and nickname stuff in this novel kinda remind me of "I Reincarnated as a Villainess in an Otome Game, but I’m Still s*upid Inside".I still enjoy it tho.

Although it's only 2 chapters, I love it but I also want more. MC is an interesting character. She's different from other transmigrator who avoid a villainess path and be a better person. On the contrary, she still chooses to be a villainess but she tones it down a bit.

One word. Beautiful. Yes, this is just beautiful. To be honest I feel conflicted because on one side I feel like this was too short, I WANT MORE but at the same time I feel like this was just perfect the way it was (well I was secretly hoping there'd be more details on their smexy time hehe). Overall the story was interesting, and has so much potential as a longer novel, but since it is a short story it can't be helped. I loved the twisted yandere characters and how you could see the humanity and their emotions, without any excuses for the characters' behaviours.

Especially love how the MC was insecure and scared of the ML leaving their birdcage and hating her for grooming the ML into a yandere. She gave no excuses or hysterical reasonings such as "she did it for love, it was for him and etc" and was fully prepared for the possibility of him leaving her.

And also about the brainwashing, who is to say that even without her he would have been happy with the transmigrated heroine 'saving him'? As long as the characters are fully consenting and happily together, I'll accept no matter how twisted their relationship is!

If I had to describe this one, it's like dark raspberry flavoured chocolate covered in sticky honey.

Bitter, sour and sickly sweet.

The one thing I probably enjoy the most out of this one is that the MC knows what she's doing is wrong, but doesn't care in such an unapologetic way that it is kinda charming.

But, yeah I say give it a shot. It's short and even if you don't like it, won't take a lot of time away from your life.

It's a really refreshing concept. A mutual romance between two yanderes is definitely a new one hehe. And I do enjoy the stories where the "villainess" is actually evil. It's just way too short. It feels more like a plot summary than a full story, skipping over how she made him a yandere and even what the "birdcage for two" means. I assume it's metaphorical, or are they just sitting in an empty room all day? If the narrative was more detailed I would give it 5 stars.

Short, a bit dark, and sweet! Too short for me, but I loved it nonetheless.

Basically, both the MC & ML are yanderes. That's all there is to the story. They are... slightly.... disturbing...I guess. But they're happy with each other, so it's fine. This is a fresh take on Otome game reincarnation stories. I deducted one point because this was too short and we couldn't get any detailed idea about the characters. Otherwise, it's a fun short read.

It's short but it's also so beautiful. The MC in this story is truly dark and twisted. Though I wish to see the canon!heroine getting slammed more, I still enjoyed this story.

Short, but the thoughts and the feelings came across. Emotions from them that we can't fully grasp and understand. Short enough that we know the premise of what their situation is, but short enough that we don't know everything and even wanting for more even if they have already placed the limit of what we should know.

Wishing the story was longer, like even 5 chapters, so that we can see more of the developments of their relationship from young to when they grew up and when the supposed fenale lead appeared.

Well.. Eh. Tbh I quite like the premise, it's an interesting idea, but the execution felt so subpar. The story shows how they met and the result of the "training", but we didn't actually see any of that. Given the length of the story it couldn't be helped, but everything about MC felt so ridiculous tbh.

I love this. The yandere here is portrayed really well with the emotional and psychological manipulation that ML goes through, instead of other stories where characters become 'yandere' for no apparent reason. MC becomes insecure at the right moments and is a very interesting character that I would love to read more on. She knows what she wants and pulls the right strings to get them.
