Ye Xuan is a very good doctor. Even though he is only 14-15 years, he has been learning medicine with his grandpa since he was 3 years old. His grandpa is a legendary doctor, of the Medicinal Dao Master level just one step shy of the ultimate level.

But his grandpa suddenly died after trying to cure a mysterious person with the “Hundred Evils Body” and Ye Xuan is now trying to survive together with his uncle. His grandpa left the first half of his doctor’s manual to Ye Xuan. The other half is in the hands of a former friend of his grandpa who now refuses to return it.

Ye Xuan has to become strong to retrieve the 2nd half of the manual. The first half of the manual contains a special acupuncture method which allows Ye Xuan to cultivate much faster than normal people.

When his uncle suddenly disappeared, leaving only a note with the word “flee!” on it, Ye Xuan is left on his own to survive in this world.

When Ye Xuan finally made it into a sect, he was forced to join a waning division of the sect where he is the sole student of a beautiful woman. His master…

It is early to give a review, but since there are none at the moment, why not? So far, the MC seems intelligent, cool headed, and because growing up learning medicine, his first reaction is to help those that are sick. Some of the "bad guys" have not gone full Xianxia with their arrogance, scheming, or trying to kill the MC, which is surprising. The couple of girls introduced are not annoying as other Xianxia girls, and the typical ice-cold beauty seems nice. I would recommend giving this series a... more>> try. <<less

First thing, I haven't reached the end but this guy breaks the heart of other girls by at least choosing one of them. Not sure if he might get a few later but at least not likely.

Quite emotional if translated right.

Fights are quite interesting and he does get from OP and lucky, and he tends to have moments of damsel in distress at times too when he get saved by some other girl or guys sometime. LOL

Quite a Usual combination, strong martial and OP medical skills (he's humble with it though lol and he does fails at times too, maybe late at it or something)

But the heartache from the girls really make me want to stop though (in a good way. and if you hate harem, yeah it's definitely up your alley, but for me, I just hope for a happy ending, not realistic but why not? it's a story.)

Basically, a more realistic novel (compared to the OP ones) where you see lives lost and heart broken, doesn't win all the time, and might even be the damsel instead of the hero at times. A truly interesting novel at this point if you are okay with the above.

Just my thoughts and do not need people to agree, but hope to serve as a ref point for those attempting to read it. <<less

It’s not bad! But it’s to soon to judge.. I like the idea of merging Medicine Techniques & Fighting. His Master is like his Mother, it’s pretty moving. Both of them due their best to survive and they’re their only ally!

Romance: She’s a bit too prideful and brings trouble to the MC. I think this could be better and has potential. But to soon to tell anything at this point!

I forgot where I left off but the hard points in this novel that I do love was that the MC was not in a harem even though he was leading an all-girls sect. Around the time he gets accepted into an OP college and that he left the competition to go back to save his sect was where I forgot to finish.

In fact it amazes me since I remember there being mostly a cast of females. Not that the antagonists aren't females at all. Just that the romance is... more>> very minimal throughout that made it very enjoyable to see how the teenager grows without being weighed down by damsel-in-distress-love-interests.

I remember there being a Loli-dragon girl that ends up being his mount. And that her dragon parents seem to want to pair him up with her oddly.

The main interesting parts is that he's a 'doctor'.

Experimenting and finding ways to cure a disease afflicting dragons was pretty interesting.

He's also a genius in cultivating and helping grow his master's sect that he inherited.
Did attract alot of attention and trouble but those events made the plot more interesting.
It doesn't end up with those other novels that have their whole sect destroyed and having to rebuild it from scratch or leaving the sect and only coming back once or twice towards the ending. <<less
